I've been a client here for over 20 years and have referred many people over the years, but it has changed significantly since it was a privately owned practice. I just don't have that warm and fuzzy feeling anymore. Dr. Munoz is wonderful and I will continue to take my elderly dog to him, but I've started looking for different options for my other pets. One of my dogs passed away last year and he had been going to this practice for his entire life. I was extremely unhappy with the way his final days were handled by Dr. Loss, so unhappy in fact, that when it came time to euthanize, I used a completely different vet who my dog didn't even know. That speaks volumes.....the final vet visit of his life and I couldn't bring myself to take him there. There have been other issues in the last year - my puppy getting loose from her leash in the parking lot when the vet tech was bringing her back to me, medication refill response times, pricing issues, etc., and unfortunately, they all add up to an overall uneasy feeling.

Dr. Loss is always amazing. You can tell she genuinely cares for our pets and is very educational, making sure we understand what's going on is invaluable and not every doctor is like that. I also appreciate that the clinic always sends us appointment reminder texts and once there gives us an estimate to go over treatment costs, definitely who we will always trust with our beloved pets.

Along with all that I have checked up top, I can also say, i dont have to remember my Simba services or vaccines. They are always prompt with their reminders. They are eager to help with any concern and also. I left Dimba in their sitting service. I had no worries while the family was in vacation. I received daily update. Great service aver all.

They always do a great job taking care of my cat. They're friendly and talk to you in a calming manner to help soothe your anxiety. I would recommend them to anyone with a furry friend.

Dr. Munoz is always so helpful in resolving any issues I have with my pets! The front desk staff is wonderful, and so are the vet techs. Everyone is very professional and helpful.

Definitely changing vets! I am a younger girl and people do not usually take me seriously. I have been trying to find a vet since moving and they seemed fine at first, but I called with a question and they said to come in and the lady laughed in my face and kept questioning me and asking if I was sure over and over and then asking if I knew that I called this vet, I told her I called twice and she brushed it off. Made me feel incredibly dumb and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to feel belittled. They should understand that we just want the best for our pets and obviously do not know as much about animals as them. Really disappointed because I liked this place at first :(

Dr. Tomasko is amazing! She helped our frenchie with his allergies & he’s already feeling much better the very next day. Everyone here is great & truly care for your pet. Definitely recommend !

I have been using Hillsboro Animal Hosp. For almost 20 years for several dogs thru the years and have always received good, compassionate care for my dogs. Now they have been caring for my recent puppy a mini schnauzer since he was 5 weeks old. They have been very diligent in getting his vaccines. The girls that work up front as well as Dr. Loss and the tech's all give Bailey alot of love and affection when he goes in. My only derogatory comment is the groomer. She is very nice but just doesn't come accross as enjoying what she does and I dont think she likes dealing with a very wiggly puppy.

I have been taking my dog Zazu here for a year. Once for an urgent issue and twice for routine care. Each time they were amazing and caring. They listened to me and gave her such good care. She’s the healthiest she’s ever been!!

Very disappointed! I called before making the appointment to ask how much my bill would be because I only needed 1 specific medication and on the day of the appointment they charged me more for the same medication. DON'T BELIEVE IN THEIR WORDS !!
