Stevens Animal Hospital Pompano Beach, Florida

Last week, we sadly and suddenly had to put our boy Ollie down. The staff at Stevens Animal Hospital was there all the way to support us and showed genuine care and compassion for our heartbreaking decision. My special thanks to Dr. Vigo for her professionalism and candid words, and her tears alongside ours and letting Ollie go with great dignity and respect. Can't thank her enough...Thanks to Corell for caring for Ollie while in the hospital, he was truly amazing...My heart is filled with sadness, but I'm so grateful I wasn't alone...Thank you so much!

We love Dr Stevens Animal Hospital and their team of professionals! We trust them with our Bella and Bailey. I remembered I forgot to get my dogs Heart-worm for January... so I made a quick call today. They were kind enough to get Bella right in for her annual check up and administered all needed scripts right away! Thank you for taking care of our dogs!

I found Dr. Chris and Dr Stevens to be very caring and raved about how compassionate and honest they are. The first time I called without an appointment because I thought my dog needed to get help immediately the staff didn’t have ability to have me bring him in to just check him in case it was urgent. The second time, yesterday when I was worried he needed to get looked at because he didn’t keep water or food down again staff said no availability can’t even squeeze him in. I asked if they would wait until tomorrow because they wanted to give me an appointment for the next day and they said no. I feel like my vet can’t treat my fur baby when I need them I need a new Doctor. Very upset.

Before they moved they were great. Now it’s all about money and no care for anything else. When You call you get attitude when you ask a question. When you talk to the Manger rose in person her whole demeanor is she doesn’t care nor wants to listen. You talk to her on phone about same issues and doesn’t remember the talk nor anything changes. The major thing to be aware of was The major surgery we had for our dog with them. they didn’t explain anything to us about giving meds at a certain hour when the pain meds from surgery wear off nor what time the last shot was giving. Instead we get the dog they give a paper with another dogs name on it and just to put the dog in the car. No pre explaining on what to expect what to buy for the house. It was all on us. We had to handle our dog in pain crying at 3am. Due to not knowing when we could give meds. Then It took two days for them to give us the rehab paper after surgery. This was such a generic form besides the doctors surgery notes which mean nothing when I’m not a surgeon. We let that go thinking they would get better that was a mistake. DO NOT go here. Front of the office is just rude especially the guy working the front.

Marlene is the best groomer that I have ever used, she is so talented, kind and has a way with my three dogs that no other groomer has ever had. She treats them all as if they were her own dogs. They get so excited when they see her and come home clean, beautiful and so happy! One of my dogs has a lot of health issues and knowing that she is at an animal hospital while she is getting groomed - especially Stevens Animal Hospital who are the very best, is such a bonus.

I have been taking my dog to both Dr. Stevens (vet) and Marlene (groomer) at Stevens Animal Hospital for the past 6 years. I love that they work interactively. Marlene is incredibly accommodating, and she does a superb job with my fur baby every time. My dog is excited to go. How many people can say that about their grooming and vet experience? If she notices anything wrong (like an ear irritation or otherwise), Marlene asks the vet to check her out. If she needs a vaccine or other treatment, they're happy to do so while she's at her grooming appointment. I am very happy there, and would highly recommend them.

I took my cat there to check on a cyst on his tail, Dr Kris and Veronica treated my cat with so much love and kindness. Never grabbed him for the neck in an aggressive way, instead they gently caressed him and checked on him. The human talent in the office is so lovely. The whole place was spotless. Totally recommended

My elderly cat hates - HATES - any grooming and bathing, and going to the vet. After a mishap we desperately needed help removing problems from her fur and decided to also have regular grooming and nails done. The team at Stevens was super responsive and understanding as always. I dropped her off which I thought would drive her completely insane, but everyone there is so great that she got through it without trouble. When we got her home she was clean and so happy. So great. We have been using Steven’s Animal Hospital for 8 years and have always been extremely happy with their services. The groomer, Marlene, has always taken wonderful care of our Mal-Shi and truly loves our little guy. She always makes me smile when he spends the day with her for a bath and haircut and often times sends us pictures and videos of him! We love Steven’s for their family approach to veterinarian office. They care about their customers and furry clients! Highly recommend!!!

We recently switched vets to Dr. Chris Stevens and Dr. Travers. They are wonderful vets who care deeply about their patients. We are so grateful to have found them.

Marlene, the groomer at their new location is the best we've found since we moved down 9 years ago. It took us a long time to find our last groomer, and we were heart broken when she left. As it turns out it was a blessing. Marlene is so much better! And closer! She actually listens to what you want her to do!! She'll offer some of her own ideas and techniques, which are great, and then give your pet the cut you asked for. More importantly our dogs seem to love her. When we used to take them to the girl that replaced our former groomer, they were anxious, and afraid to go, and to enter the shop. they would come home the same way. You could tell they weren't being treated well at all. When we go to Marlene, they're happy and excited, then they fall asleep on the way home. Less than five minutes away. If your looking for a groomer look no further. We love her!

Took my dog that I recently acquired there today for shots & checkup. Great staff & office was very clean. My dog (Doberman) fell in love with one of the techs. He was fantastic with her as was the rest of the staff.

Marlene is the Dog Groomer Whisperer....Bodie loves Marlene and is always happy to run to her for his unique hairdo's that Marlene magically creates at our request. He is the highlight of the Dog Park....all because of Marlene's amazing touch. She really has a loving way with our crazy pup. Bodie actually greets Marlene like an old friend even when we our at the vet. He loves her!!!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful - the facility was beautiful and Dr mark was excellent, he spent the time to understand the dogs needs and go over an affordable and effective plan of care. I recommend this place for anyone in the area!

I really can’t describe how amazing Dr’s Chris and Mark Steven’s are. I’ve been a client for years and their quality, commitment, compassion and even price are second to none in this industry. My ONLY reluctance to give them the praise they deserve is i want to keep them all to us! Wonderful people with amazing bed side manner. Years ago when we were about to lose a 4 legged family member we were devastated, kids crying. Wife and i beside ourselves. I called and spoke to Dr Mark. He said, “if we could do anything for you right now what would it be?” I told him we said our goodbyes and could be just come get zoey? I couldn’t imagine loading our Great Dane into the car, myself, while my then toddlers were home, etc. He said. We will be there in 15 minutes. You can’t imagine how much help that was in such a traumatic moment. Honest, cheerful, animal lovers. I’d give 10 stars if i could. Keep up the amazing gift you have given us and our fur kids. Thank you ????

The best. My 2 babies will never go anywhere else. Dr. Chris is the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. One of my babies is sick and she treats her like she is her own. The staff is wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Stevens Animal Hospital with all my heart.

Prescribed medicine (Apoquel) to my 8mo puppy that’s not recommended for use younger than 12mo. Puppy had bad reaction to medicine. Switched vets. Much happier now.

My girlfriend and I went there yesterday. The office was beautiful and the staff......The entire staff was friendly and smiling. They we are all kind and courteous. Dr.Stevens was sweet, smart, kind and knows her stuff!!! We've found our puppies forever Dr!❤❤❤❤

Linda Rebin needs to learn some manners. After talking to her I decided to go some where else.

We switched to Stevens because our other vet's prices got too high. So far so good. Plus it has a large waiting area, dogs one side, cats the other. Very friendly staff. They just moved to this location. Prices are better here.

We rescued a small dog off the street that animal control wanted to euthanize. Her coat was all matted,nails growing into her paws, and very dirty and just physically worn out. Dr Mark Steven's examined her and then she went to Marlene the groomer at the clinic. She took one look at her and was very upset of her condition. Marlene worked on her all day in increments. We couldn't believe the job she did on her at the end of the day! She was brought home and named Mattie due to her matted coat when we found her. Marlene is extremely good at her craft. It was obvious that she loves and cares for animals. She has been grooming our dogs and cats for years. You are extremely good at what you do, and your love for animals definitely shows. Thank You! The entire staff at Stevens Animal Hospital is so friendly, helpful and professional! I'm never rushed. They take their time with my dogs. It's easy to get in for an appointment. They're simply just great!!!! My 3 dogs go to Marlene for grooming and she cuts them perfectly!!!! She is so wonderful with them! Highly recommend Stevens for veterinary care and grooming!!!!!

I just got a new Shih Tzu pup & was trying to find a really good vet. I’ve driven by Steven’s Animal Hospital frequently & decided to go there. I’m so happy that I did. Everyone is attentive, caring & very pleasant. There’s a family oriented atmosphere. I love it!

Before these people were awesome but they just had to go south. I mean bad communication, no solution, just all around bad clinic. . It's just a shame that they will burn a hole through your pocket only for them not to solve the issue. Will not be bringing my pet here ever again.
