Muddy Mutts Mobile Dog Grooming Davenport, Florida

My dog turned 2 on December 18. She has been scheduled to be groomed every 4 weeks since she was 12 weeks old. In that time, we have had 9 different groomers and had 6 appointments rescheduled without telling us (they just showed up on different days). Of the 9 groomers, only once did we message the owner, Cheryl to ask for a different groomer. Today we get a text saying they will no longer service my cavaliers (we got a second who is 1 year old) because the groomer said I criticized her grooming. My dog is a bath and nails, no grooming and I tipped $30…. Ummm where was my complaint? It wasn’t afterward when the groomer gave me my next 3 appointments. —- Come to find out, they are under new ownership and no one told us. All I can assume is this is how the ownership now runs. Reply to Muddy Paws— I have a text that says new owner. Family or not, it is new. Next, it has been 9 because I jot down the names next to appointment when I can get a name. Finally, my oldest cavalier has been groomed 17 times by your company , 8 of the appointments, no one was home, the groomers just grabbed the dogs and groomed them, I left a check, and two times my husband was here. You are welcome to see you CloudEdge videos (camera recordings with sound) to see the truth (I can still access the last six and will save them to a drive). As I said yesterday via text, I wish you all the best and stability in your business, but being rude and calling names (especially when not true) can be taken as defamatory, doing it as a business shows future clients who you really are.

I have been using Muddy Mutts for 3 years. Every one of their groomers has been fantastic?

I went on the web site and sent a message and nvr heard back from them. Called and only get message to text them but busy til after first of the yr. Would've been nice to of least gotten a response back. Can't judge the quality of service though.

I booked an appointment on October 11th, in the midst of a move I brought my pup to my old address after confirming the appointment the day before via text. My appointment was for today, Nov 2nd at 1pm and at 12:30pm I receive at text stating they would not arrive until 2 maybe even 2:30. I’ve attached the text messages. This is extremely unprofessional and a waste of my time. Please do not book with this company.

Sara was awesome. Our dog has severe anxiety, Sara took the time to calm him and get him looking spiffy. She arrived promptly on time and it was so convenient to have him all done in a short time. We will absolutely be booking Henry’s next appointment with Muddy Mutts!

The first time they groomed my new puppy was great! When they came back for the second grooming one month later it was not good at all. The woman who came to my door was not friendly at all. And I felt like she rushed with the grooming the $80 grooming was done very quickly around 30 minutes. And the dog looked nowhere near as good as the first time. To make the bad experience worse she demanded that next time we walk the dog before she shows up because he pooped twice while she had him. Keep in mind she showed up at about 12:15 for a 1pm appointment so there is no way I could have walked him before hand we didn't know she would be that early. Needless to say I didn't schedule a third appointment.

Great customer service and reasonable price! After our Aussie had his first appointment we discovered he has sensitive skin. I called to ask for recommendations to alleviate his itchiness and Muddy Mutts offered to come back out and give him an oatmeal bath. Now he’s feeling as good as he looks! Definitely recommend!

For me, it's the best thing to come along. No more lifting, getting soaking and wet, dirty towels, wet floors, chasing Spot for his bath.... Spot is happy and smells good, and that means I'm happy.

Would give zero stars if I could. Extremely unprofessional. This company fails to realize that we are the customers of their workers... not them. Learn to treat people better. Disgusting behavior yields disgusting results.

The fast scheduling was good. However was displeased with our pups nail clippings. They weren't cut much at all and we weren't told before they left and still charged full price. After I shared my complaint I was told why they weren't cut much. Good info but just didn't like it was told after the fact.

**Edit my Cavashon was groomed on September 3 ( the 2nd time I used Muddy Mutts. The person who “groomed” my dog shaved her tail leaving nothing but a puff of fur at the end. She came to my door with my dog and said “her tail was very tangled” first I brushed my dog the day before second don’t you offer a de matting service? And shouldn’t you contact the owner to ask if they want that BEFORE shaving the entire tail? Second I always ask for a top knot with a bow, she has a top knot but had a child’s alligator clip bow attached that came out as soon as she hit the door and I found later her chewing on. The other HUGE problem is my dog has sores inside her ear , which she did not have before. I am completely dissatisfied with this service. I cannot believe the difference in a 4 week period of time and I would appreciate the owner contacting me! I have a cavashon and a mini labradoodle, both were 6 weeks out from their last grooming visit and the labradoodle has very difficult fur to manage because he’s not a “true” labradoodle. Sabrina was friendly, professional and extremely gentle with both of my fur babies. I showed her pictures of their typical cuts and she exceeded expectations. I will definitely be a repeat customer moving forward. I am disabled and having a mobile groomer is such a plus. Thank you Sabrina for being so patient today with my fur babies that were so happy to see a smiling face.

Best groomers we have ever had. We love that they come to us. Odie and Sophie look amazing and smell even better after they've been groomed. Traci and Lance are so nice and our dogs love them. Very professional, Their vans are spotless and the price is great...

These ppl are WONDERFU . My little Luna looks great! Her nails all done and spiffy! Not only did they come on time, but they were a little early. It was cost effective and they peppered me with questions before to make sure that I would be happy I WILL be using them again

This mobile groomer is absolutely EVERYTHING. I'd like to preface with a story : I used to take my dogs to a place in celebration (I won't name names) but my dog came back terrified of life. When I say that, I mean she was jumpy, biting (never ever a biter) and was extremely skiddish. I thought it being her first time at a groomers this may be normal??? I brought her back again and her reaction was even more hostile this time. She won't let anyone near her with a hairbrush. THAT BEING SAID I was desperate for a good groomer that I could be nearby if anything were to happen. My mom found muddy mutts mobile grooming. The people that run this place are SO nice and genuine. My girl loves GIGI and she is the happiest girl after getting her groom. No anxiety, no snipping. So thank you muddy mutts you have been so great to us and our animals, and special thank you to GIGI and her sidekick (not sure of her name) but y'all are awesome. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!????????????

I was a little worried about having my 6 yr old Pomeranian-Yorkie mix groomed for the first time, but Cheryl did a wonderful job. Piper was so happy to be groomed & smell so good, she actually smiled☺

My 50 lb. Samoyed was to big, so they could not take him.
