I truly liked Dr. Fell and the staff when I first got my Cavaliers. But the office staff started changing and so did their requirements. 1) first they wanted us to use an app so I used it. Then slowly my appointment …

I regret ever bringing my cat or dog to this place. The customer service is extremely rude and they have no consideration for your time. They will make you wait outside and say they have no idea how long your wait will be. Because the receptionist was so awful and rude I will never take my pets to this place again and I will never recomend this place because of the lack of customer service and consideration.

Great place. Very very friendly staff. Curbside is fine. Service is fast and fine. They never push the owner to accept certain treatment for pet. I think prices are a bit high. Otherwise awesome place.

Pros: Good doctors, New building, Grooming available on site through a third party; Cons: Expensive!$! We unfortunately stopped going here during the pandemic because they were not wearing masks indoors. (Unsure of current mask policy)

I am confident that my pup Lily is in good hands when I take her to Atlantic Veterinary. Lily is 12 years old and recently had surgery. She was treated with as much TLC as she would if she were home with me. I highly recommend Atlantic Veterinary. Before and after pictures.

This is the best clinic I have gone to. They are very caring and everyone is extremely friendly. They take great care of my two cats and I am very thankful that I found them. I have been to three vets before and none knew what was wrong with my cat and at the first visit to Atlantic Veterinary they had an immediate diagnose.

Update: the fact that in December 2021 they are still requiring owners to stay in their cars is beyond me. Curbside is a very big inconvenience and very unnecessary. If anything, they should offer it not require it. Most owners, like myself, would be much more comfortable being with our pets during appointments. This place was good. A few years ago they were the only place in the area to take an orphaned squirrel. About a week ago We made an emergency appointment to put my fancy rat down. The assistant didn’t know what the procedure was to do so which I thought was strange. We never even spoke to the person who put her down and they didn’t really warn us when they’d coke take her back which I thought was a little rude. Also, when they were done they didn’t wrap the body or anything and I thought I was strange to just drive around without her wrapped (my personal preference). Overall this is a still a decent place and nice to be able to plan a last minute emergency.

I believe at this point, the curbside experience needs to be ended. Additionally, prices have increasingly exceeded my standards. I also paid for Nexguard and drove all the way home to find that I was given the wrong medicine. No one caught that it was vastly different than what I was supposed to give my pet. Now I am inconvenienced to drive back and pick up the correct medicine. I would have blindly given my pet the current nexguard and assumed it was correct, but because I continue to have issues I check everything now including receipts. Unfortunately, I continue to have instances where the service and standards from several years back far exceed what is currently being demonstrated. Very disappointed in how the business is currently being handled.

Great staff, always professional and answers all of my questions. A bit more costly but well worth it considering the care and professionalism displayed by all.

I found this veterinary clinic on a google search and I’m very pleased with my choice. The assistant was very kind and personable. I felt comfortable leaving my new puppy in their hands. If you’re looking for a new vet then I definitely recommend them.

Worst clinic in the area! I have a 3 months old puppy and she had parvo a month ago which I know it’s a dangerous situation but this clinic just refused to assist her because of that. I don’t know what kind of clinic is this that refuse to treat animals. They choose what is most convenient for them. So I guess if you plan on taking your pet there you better have a healthy one before you go there otherwise they will send you back home without any assistance.

The team was great. They came out to the car, took my little Phoebe in and made sure everything looked good for her first vet visit. They explained everything thoroughly and followed up on her the next day. They have shown such great care and concern. Thank you for caring as much about my Phoebe as I do!

One of the worst Vet experiences we’ve ever had. Sorry in advance for the length, but that’s how terrible this place was to us. We started going to this clinic at the end of January of this year after adopting our chihuahua from a shelter with heart worms. We chose this location because somehow at the time they had very good reviews and were located very close by. We visited many times for various things and each time was like we were bringing our dog there for the first time, we would have to reexplain everything that had been going on with her, and no matter how many times we would ask for something to get done (letting us know results or sending records to us or another veterinarian) they would never do it the first time or sometimes at all. Every time we made an appointment it felt like we were a burden to them just for showing up and then once finished with whatever exam we were there for we would not get any information from the actual vet, only the vet techs, which is insane that the doctor can’t at least call you. The results that we would get from these visits were either extremely vauge and didn’t make sense or sounded very serious and then had no explanation. Anytime we would ask to have the vet call us to explain anything we would always get asked “why do you need the vet to call you?” as if there should be any other reason besides the fact that we’ve spent $100s-$1000s on visits and would like the actual veterinarian to at least call us if they’re not going to see us face to face. We had been considering changing vets for a while and after our last visit it was a no brainer. We took our dog back in after having no results from the medicine that was prescribed to us, they decided to take x-rays and once again, the vet tech called instead of the vet and started to try and explain what the vet had told her, which wasn’t making any sense. When we picked our dog up the tech came out and she ended up downplaying what was a very serious condition and gave us new prescriptions to pick up at the pharmacy with zero guidance on how to administer (it ended up being an inhalant and we had to google how to give it to a dog). Again, we asked for the vet to give us a call to better explain the seriousness of the condition, again they asked “why?”, and then said the vet would call later in the day. Not only did the vet never call us but once we read the notes from the x-rays we discovered that they found a little piece or a wire brush that our dog injested and never told us about it and that whoever was running it had their actual fingers in the x-rays. I hope this saves other families from having to deal with this terrible facility. Please do not take your animals here, it will save you stress and tears.

At first they were great! The staff is super nice but they never have appointments available . I’ve called 3 times over the past 2 months for issues with my pets and each time they tell me to take the dog to the animal hospital because they are too booked up. Even for simple things which has become very frustrating! Update: just tried to get my dog her shot there and because I said they never have appointments they won’t see her. Clearly their main concern is not the pets. My review was honest. Maybe this is their way of getting rid of customers.

Tried to call and ask for prices and they wouldn’t give me any information. I’m sorry, but I’m not taking my dog anywhere without some kind of knowledge on how much they charge. Unprofessional

Thrilled with Atlantic Vet Clinic. Dr. Kathryn Fell and her vet tech staff are kind, caring, highly responsive. New, state of the art building, were able to see my pomeranian within in days of my call. Others were not taking new patients or a 3 week wait!!!!!

The part postive, part negative reviews made me antsy about going here after reading. Instead, Joy was an absolute pleasure to work with. They didn't try to just take my money, they actually had approved two skin scraps & cancelled them when they saw that my baby Bear was healing from how bad he was. The fact that the vet called me later in the day to coffer with me was also fantastic. Only thing I would change is to have the documents sent before the doctor calls you, I have a number of questions I wasn't able to ask because I did not have notes. Like I had no idea my doggie has COPD but apparently he does. That would have been important to discuss with follow up phone call. Thank you Barbara Harris

Extremely incredibly incompetent staff with attitude. They try to up sell you and come up with unnecessary additions to the bill. Worse than a gaudy pathetic used car sales person. Tried to rerun and re-administer test and shots that previous vet already did 2 weeks ago. They use the excuse that they didn’t receive the records from either one of my pets vets which is a lie because I sent them and so did the previous vet. They are still under the delusion that no one can come into their office because of the pandemic and you have to wait in the hot sun in your car in the parking lot while they take your pet in and drum up charges. The doctor isn’t that well versed she’s a basic vanilla vet with no notable experience or expertise in challenging diagnosis. No response needed because it is only going to be filled with a bunch of condescending BS that no one should or would believe. STAY FAR AWAY
