We've been to this business twice. The first time, it was to have a dog we found microchip scanned and they were so helpful in finding the home for this dog. The second time our cat had a cloudy eye - they were able to check him out very quickly and efficiently. The cost was far less than we thought it would be. The staff was kind, funny and extremely helpful. Also, we didnt even have to wait. We got service almost immediately.

I brought my dog in because she had bloody diarrhea. I asked for some water because I was so thirsty and they gave me a dog food cup to drink from the faucet! Then the dr came in and my dog barked and she stuck her fingers in her ears. I said you never heard a dog bark?! She said she wants her ear drums! I walked out and the dr was the most unprofessional Person I have ever encountered !I told her we were leaving and she mocked me. I asked for my dogs sample back and she said it’s in the trash. She said I guess we have to dig it out and I said yes you do. Don’t go there please! My dog knew from the start this was a horrible place. She barked anytime they came near her. And they are very judgmental. I ran out of the house to get there. I had just taken my medicine so I was very sleepy. That dr totally judged me. The receptionist was scary! I would talk to her and she ignored me the whole time. Very scary. Don’t go there. Don’t let the (dr) touch your animal.I’m contacting their bosses and hopefully something can be done.

They were able to take us as a walk in, get our cat taken care of in less than a few hours (including x-rays and other tests) for a really decent price and was able to send us home with proper instruction to better his health along with the right meds for his situation. Would definitely recommend and will come back if needed.

My dad came down to visit and his dog got an ear infection. The doctor and staff were nice, but very expensive. Almost $500 for that visit. I had a vet on long Island that removed a huge cyst when he was almost 13 years old (this was only a year ago). That surgery and his follow ups was only $1009. I feel like treating an ear infection should have been much less.

Took good care of us. Definitely going back

Thank goodness for Urgent Pet Vets. I could not get an appointment with my vet on short notice. I called almost every vet in Spring Hill and could not get in, and the local emergency vet did not open until 10:00 pm. However, there was no problem getting seen here. The staff was personal, caring, and professional. The doctor did an outstanding job providing care for my pet. I am very impressed and relieved to have found them.

The care and compassion we received is beyond exceptional. We were forced to help our Honey cross over the Rainbow Bridge on 10/12/21. It was one of the hardest decisions we have faced. Her diagnosis was F.A.T.E. Feline aortic thrombo-embolism. They explained our options and left the decision up to us. They didn't perform any unnecessary procedures and their kindness was immeasurable. I will be forever grateful to them for their help in our time of loss. In my opinion, they went above and beyond to help us to help our girl. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

My friend had to put her dog to sleep on a weekend. Reception was very sensible. Took care of everything in a very sweet manner the whole process was as good as it could be.

First I am not a fan of Google reviews but I am definitely writing one today and I will make it short!! They are OVER priced for the service provided and to top it off they misdiagnosed my dog to the point of where I almost took my dog to Shands per their suggestion to get possibly emergency surgery I ended up taking her the next morning to an emergency vet in Springhill who properly diagnosed my dog with a nonsurgical illness for a third of the cost!! So if you want to make them richer go right ahead!!!

Wow! What a great ER vet. My pug Nani decided to rip an entire nail with the quick right off her little twinkle just minutes before we hit the road last Saturday. It looked like a Halloween movie- blood gushing all over...I'm in a panic... And of course- it's a weekend day. Dr. Mercer was excellent! I hope that's her name. She was gentle- and didn't jump to the most expensive or invasive fix. She was able to clean and seal up the wound without going under anesthesia and doing "surgery". My girl is older- and that is a risk we didn't want to take. The pricing was excellent. It was refreshing to not get gouged because it was a weekend visit. It was the same price for the office visit as our normal every day vet in town. Meds were a little pricey- but it is what it is. Pharmacy will always beat out the clinic pricing... it's all about convenience. Thank you so much again! I highly recommend this clinic for every pet parent in emergency. 10/10.

When Bella my 15 year old chihuahua got sick over the weekend I brought her here. The staff and Dr. Mercer have gone above and beyond for me and Bella. I can barely put into words the gratitude I have for all of them. They are kind and compassionate. They explained what was going on and what our plan is. Bella is receiving daily fluids and medication for her kidney disease and the staff come in on the days they are closed to administer her medicine and to treat/see her. I’ve never been to a more loving and giving veterinarian office in all these years until now. It means so much to me that they see us everyday and come in to treat her when they could be enjoying their day off. The knowledge, patience and love they show to your pet and you is incredible. I will forever be thankful for all they’ve done.

We have be so thankful for Urgent Pet Vets. We have had numerous after hours or weekend emergencies when our primary care vet was closed and must say...they are AMAZING. Caring, compassionate and very knowledgeable!

Urgent Pet Vet is such a blessing! I had to take my 5 month old kitten Bella here on a Saturday morning because she was having trouble breathing, not eating like she should, sneezing, watery eyes with green and yellow goop. We were seen within 5 minutes, doctor and Vet tech explained everything to me before doing anything. My baby girl is now feeling better after antibiotics, fluids, anti nausea meds, and eye cream. I will be back if needed and will refer others here too!

Very unprofessional call me not caring, call them told him our cat was dying and didn’t even care if it was. You’re in a profession with animals you need to be a little more caring and compassionate and thoughtful. The worst place ever I will never recommend him I will never bring another pet to them again.
