VCA Wakulla Animal Hospital Crawfordville, Florida

My family and I are absolutely devastated with our trip to this vets office today. I called the VCA animal care facility yesterday and asked for help because my pup broke her leg and I'm a single mom who is currently unemployed due to a drunk driver crashing into me, expressing that I'm on a limited income. I was instructed to give her children's motrin which I did but thankfully not the dosage recommended. When we arrived and I was asked what I gave her for pain I told them, the vets response to me was that I probably just killed my pup. She was nasty and as cold as she could possibly be and made me feel as if it was my own negligence. As if that wasn't bad enough I was then given a number to poison control and charged an additional $65 fee to find out if I killed my baby and then told of $300 more just for xrays and that my pup would not even receive medical help that I would have to take her to another vet to get help with that. As i said I'm devastated and I did give the staff a good talking to about how they treated us. Of course we left with no help and I'm home trying to find a vet who cares and will actually help us. Your business should be closed for fraudulent services. This is why we see animals taken to the humane society because we can't afford your prices for no help at all and it should be illegal.

Good experience until Veterinarian Faith Hughes was outwardly rude to me in the checkout line. This lady was not even my Vet, and yet she felt compelled to blatantly disrespect me in front of her office staff. Her behavior was NOT professional at all, and I do not plan to return due to her nasty interference with my check-out!

A great experience. Very polite, professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend.

You could speak to each doctor there about your pets problem and they will all tell you something completely different. Then they’ll tell you “oh that doctor doesn’t know what they’re talking about between you and I.” I’m not speaking from one experience either. I genuinely recommend any other business.

Staff is wonderful! They always make me feel at ease when I take my 5 (yes, 5 dogs) fur babies in for their check ups. They’ve even got me in when I had a vet emergency without any issues. I moved to the area a year ago and really thought I wouldn’t find a vet as attentive as my old one, but I did!

They were AWESOME with my moms dog Peatree!! He was literally dragging his legs as if he was paralyzed and now he is up walking! He isn't at his best because his legs are still real jello wobbly BUT he is making AMAZING progress! They were so patient and kind! Definitely will be bringing my Ursela to them!

We unfortunately had to have our 22 year old dog put down today. The staff were so amazing and kind. They gave him a lot of love and helped his passing be an easy one. They explained everything clearly, and made the situation a little less painful as we all loved on Bo as he drew his last breath. I am appreciative of the level of compassion and understanding we received.

I'm so thankful for this vet! I moved to Crawfordville from Tallahassee a few months ago, but I had a vet clinic in tallahassee. My 2yr old dog had a seizure and when my husband & i called our main vet clinic in tallahassee (will not provide the name), & told them my dog had a seizure & that i would like him to be seen that day asap, they said they were booked & to call somewhere else.. when i called this vet, they said they could get him in as soon as i could get there without hesitation. WONDERFUL staff, the receptionist, the tech, and Dr. O'Brien were all amazing! My dog was seen and we did not have to wait. the services added up, but i'm so thankful they have the CareClub that helps tremendously!! Dr. O'Brien & the tech answered every question i had, they were both sympathetic, knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy, compassionate, and more. i am so grateful to have found this vet. i can honestly say i trust this place with my fur babies, which gives me extreme reassurance as a fur momma.

Everyone at Wakulla VCA is so helpful and nice. I wont take my babies to any other vet.
