This was the first time I have boarded my dogs here. I was impressed. Watching my dogs play with other dogs made my heart jump. I have never socialized my dogs and to see them having such a great time was mind blowing!! This will definitely be my number one spot to board my dogs. They even have a pool!! The staff was very nice and you can tell they love what they do!!!! I could live there myself!!!

My first time having my pet in a kennel and the staff were so kind, reassuring, & loving. I was set with ease upon arriving as well as I left my puppy there. Jacklyn (please excuse me for misspelling your name) personally called me to let me know how my dog was settling in and gave me even more faith and reassurance my puppy was doing well and how loved she is by the staff. I will 110% be coming back and allowing this team to take care of my puppy. Thank you all so much for being patient, kind, & sweet not only with my puppy but with me as well. You all are amazing!

Great place for dogs and cats. Love the cameras, so I can watch my animals.

We have used Pet Paradise a few times for boarding, day camp and grooming. Each time we have gone back we have been less pleased. The app online doesn't record all of our grooming requests. The phone (in my experience) is rarely answered. We don't always get the day note/card about her day. Communication between the front desk and grooming is minimal/ non existent. I'm never sure if she was groomed or not. I feel like I pay for things and am never sure they are done or my dog recieves them. Today I signed her up for day camp and grooming. When I dropped her off someone took her back and never came back so I could confirm the requests. So I left. I called later to ask how the grooming went and they had no record of the grooming and the groomer had to leave for an emergency. On the phone they offer to dremmel her nails (the main reason we took her in) and I ask them to please do that. They show up and still didn't have it in the computer to dremmel her nails. So we stood there and waited while they dremmel her nails. When we got home her nails looked untouched and are still scratching me. I tried to talk to the front desk and got apologies but no answers, help or offers. Everytime I leave it feels like a waste of money. So we will not be back.

I boarded my cat, Judy, for five days and this was her first time at Pet Paradise. She seems very happy and not as stressed as usual after being boarded. They were able to accommodate how she takes her medications at home to make it easier on her than pilling. I'm not sure, but she feels like she had a bath or some grooming - she is an old lady with poor hips and does not groom herself well - so I appreciate anything extra that went into her stay. I liked checking the cat cam and seeing the time given to cats to explore the room. When I arrived to pick her up she was roaming about in the cat room and seemed comfortable. I would board here again, thank you!

I took my cat here earlier this year for his first ever boarding experience. I was very happy with the experience and he did great as well. I found I worried about him less, knowing someone was looking out for him and I could access the webcams to check in. I like that the cats get their own playtime outside of the cabanas too, which makes less risk of injury. The staff is friendly and the cat area is kept clean. I had a good report from the staff when picking him up too and he transitioned back home wonderfully. Overall it was a great experience and I will certainly be using Pet Paradise in the future.

They took great care of my dog and the rates are great!

I scheduled a mini groom and was charged for a complete groom. Nobody called when she was done. I had to reach out and ask was my dogs grooming complete after more than 5 hours. I asked them to trim her hair in her face that resembled a bang. They cut it instead.

Pet Paradise is the only place we take our dog. They are clean, professional and courtesy there. No problems. Which is what you want when you leave your pet behind.

We brought our puppy to Pet Paradise for boarding back in October for 2 nights and it went well. Well enough for us to bring him back this past weekend for 3 nights. This time was a very different experience. We picked up our dog and noticed a little dry blood in his neck. We thought nothing of it; dogs play rough sometimes and things happen. We figured if it was anything to be concerned about, surely Pet Paradise would have let us know. We gave him a bath the next day and he bled a little more so we poked around his thick fur (he’s a husky) and noticed what appeared to be a small wound. This prompted me to call Pet Paradise to see if anything had happened. When I called, the lady on the phone informed me that they do a health and wellness check every day and there were no reports of a wound or any incident. We cleaned the wound and monitored it for a while. The NEXT day, the wound was swollen and began to smell so we knew something was wrong. We brought him to the vet and the vet advised that it appeared our dog had been aggressively bitten many times around the throat. The vet shaved the infected area and examined our dog to reveal bite marks on both sides of his throat, drastic swelling, and significant bruising all over. The vet advised that it appeared as though a dog latched onto our dog a few times and thrashed around. My dog is now on 2 antibiotics and pain medication, and is very low energy and just not himself. At this point, I am furious. I understand accidents happen and that they are animals, but the whole point of bringing my dog to boarding is to make sure he is well taken care of and watched over while we’re away. One small bite would have sucked, but I would have understood. For the employees to not be aware of such a significant and vicious attack on my dog is absurd. Either they knew about it and chose not to inform us, or they just weren’t doing their job and were not supervising play but either scenario is extremely unacceptable. I reached back out to Pet Paradise via email 2 days ago and still haven’t received a response. Their one job was to watch over my dog while I was away and they failed to even do that. & it is icing on the cake for them to fail to rectify the situation as well.

I love this place!!! "Hats off to the groomers." I have a pit bull "Jewel" that loves digging. When I tell you she goes in looking like a stray dog but when I pic her up she looks like a show dog. Thanks Pet Paradise for always giving us great service.

Very happy with our experience, our dog Pepper enjoyed her stay and made lots of new friends.

The quality of service was not there. Not to mention they quoted me a price over the phone, but changed it when I took my baby boy to be sheltered. The quality should be there as if I am dropping off my human child to a daycare . My fur baby means just as much. He came back to me wet and I paid $25 for a wet baby????

A great place to leave your buddy if you have to go out of town.

Our dog has always had a hard time being separated from us. They made it so easy. He seemed and acted so happy. He did not seem scared. He also got to be with other dogs. We now feel safe to leave him with pet paradise when we are gone because we can trust them with our dog.

Great staff, indoor inground doggie pool, clean facility, reasonable cost. I didn't receive any pictures of my puppy during her overnight stay though.

I called and asked what vaccines I needed for my dog to get groomed and was told Bordatella and Rabies needed to be current. I went and got him current on those shots, made a grooming appointment, then showed up only to be told his Distemper was out-of-date and that they were canceling his grooming appointment. I checked their website and it mentions 2 rounds of DAPP (which is more than just Distemper, by the way) are required, which he had as a puppy, but apparently that doesn’t matter. They really need to get their messaging straight on vaccine requirements so they don’t waste people’s time and money.

I take my dog every week, and he loves it! He perks up whenever we turn onto the road leading to the resort. Great customer service, solid prices, and everyone who works there is very friendly and very clearly loves pets. They even know Atticus on sight! I've recommended them to everyone I know with dogs (and cats!)

Extra playtime a must to keep our two Great Pyrenees from being too anxious from being away from us. Love the staffs caring nature and Molly the groomer is fantastic!

Boarded for three days over the course of New Years weekend and when we got home our dog was retching and hacking up her lungs, refusing to eat and sleeping like nobody’s business. I’ve experienced kennel cough in rescues before so immediately recognized it and brought her to the vet. The vet was extremely helpful in additional knowledge and providing care but also notified me that there were so many outbreaks going on in Tallahassee that they and other vet offices were on back order for medication to treat and therefore had to write a prescription for me to bring to the pharmacy. They also verified that many outbreaks had come from other facilities but that they had a few different clients from pet paradise who contracted Kennel cough as well. When I contacted the Tallahassee location of pet paradise they told me it was just one other dog that had contracted kennel cough (if you don’t know this is HIGHLY contagious). I asked for a refund for the stay and they basically turned and told me it was my fault because that’s just a risk you take when you bring your dog to be boarded and they would be unable to issue a refund even though they just caused me $150 in extra bills that could have been prevented had they had some better services in place. I will 100% not be returning, not only because of the outbreak but because of the entirely unprofessional environment and complete lack of responsibility that they claim for. I’m disgusted that they pride themselves in a “clean professional environment” but actually turn around and try to convince a customer that it’s their fault what happened in their facilities. I have contacted corporate and have relayed my experience back to my friends who recommended this place. We are very displeased.
