They are not professional at all the don’t have any sympathy for the pain. We call them to ask information about euthanasia and the first thing they say well we charge $62.00 just to see the pet that doesn’t include any test or labs. I said to them I don’t think we need labs and or test because the cat is very sick and she is very old. We took the cat and the first thing the want to do is run labs we told them NO that to please look at how the cat was she was very very sick and we did not want her to suffer anymore. The whole process was very painful for us and we do understand protocols but what we do not understand is the lack of compassion and lack of care from the staff in a situation like that. The manager came to the room to apologize but at this point an apology is not the solution to the problem they need to educate their staff.

My family and I usually see Dr. Le Count (who is great) for our dogs, but we recently saw Dr. Shaw for our sick, elderly cat. He was beyond compassionate and professional. He answered all of our questions, was not in a rush, & promptly called us with the test results. A true vet!! Josh (Vet Assistant) is also great every time we visit & we’ve never faced a problem with the front desk / scheduling.

On her way to VCA this morning. My dog is being sedated due to a serious ear infection. This place has always been over accommodating. Highly recommended

I want to Thank the staff for taking care of my dog Smokey's passing. He was put to sleep yesterday and the Doctor and assistant were so kind, caring and gentle with him. They took the time to let us to say good bye. We were new to the center and treated us like family. Thank you again.

I visited this facility several months ago and was absolutely appalled by the conduct of the vet I saw as well as the front desk staff. My dog seemed to have a small rash on his abdomen that I was concerned about so I brought him in to have it assessed. Other than that, he is a very healthy dog. He was seen by Katherine Rodgers, DVM. She brought him in the back and brought him back to me literally 2-3 minutes later, stating that she had performed a "comprehensive exam" on him. She stated that she was not sure what exactly was going on and that a comprehensive workup needed to be conducted, including lab work and even x-rays. The total for all of the above was going to be ~$700+ which I thought was ridiculous just for a simple rash. I explained this to her and she screamed very arrogantly, "Well that is what he needs and that's it! I am the vet and I know better than you! Either you get the workup or you don't!". I was completely taken aback by her comments and attitude and was not sure what to say, keeping my composure and remaining calm. She then went on to insult me and said, "You probably can't afford this anyway. Is that the issue?". I explained to her that money was not an issue at all and that I would happily pay any amount to ensure the health of my best friend. She stormed out of the room, and when she returned she never made eye contact with me, and continued to act in an extremely rude, pompous, arrogant, and hostile manner. I felt absolutely uncomfortable, insulted, disrespected as she treated me that way and talked to me in that manner. Never before in my life have I ever experienced, let alone witnessed a veterinarian conduct themselves in that manner. I was absolutely appalled and disgusted! Ultimately, I declined the completely unnecessary workup she recommended and left my dog at the facility to have the rash treated without the labs and x-rays. When I returned later to pick up my dog, I didn't receive any diagnosis or update from Katherine Rodgers whatsoever. Instead, I had the incompetent staff at the front desk explain what had occurred with my dog to me. When it came time to pay the bill, I was further insulted by the young girl working at the front desk, who asked me in front of all of the other customers, "Are you sure you are not having any 'money issues'?". Although I am an attending physician and probably make more than everyone in the facility, I simply ignored her rude and tasteless question and simply smiled. I paid, walked out and never returned again. I have never before in my life been treated in such a disgusting and heartless manner by the staff at any veterinarian facility whatsoever. I was especially repulsed by the hostile, rude, and pompous attitude of the vet Katherine Rodgers. I researched other veterinarians in Coral Springs and found one much closer to me with much more friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff. I highly recommend never stepping foot inside VCA Coral Springs if you do not want to be personally insulted, scammed, and treated like a piece of garbage, especially by the so-called vet Katherine Rodgers!

Terrible service and I will never go back to this office in Coral Springs. Today, I waited for over an hour and my dog couldn’t even see the doctor. Staff never came to tell me how long would take for my pet to see the veterinarian. Very disappointed.

Listen, this is by far the worst facility ever. My animals have only been here twice. Upon the first visit I provided medical records. When I went to schedule the second visit, which was two days ago, I was told that medical records were lost. I then spoke to a Katrina, who is office manager, and she apologize for the inconvenience. Luckily I had copies and resent them again. My husband dropped off the dogs yesterday morning and explain that we believe one of them ate something outside and was vomiting. He was told by the staff up in front, they would have to do a test but either prior to the test or after, they would call me. He confirm the phone number on file and everything. That very same day, it was 4:30 p.m. and I realized I never got a phone call. I called and spoke to the receptionist explained why I was calling and asked how are my pets. She advised that they were fine. I asked specifically about tiny dog that was sick and she placed me in hold to check. When she came back on the line she told me, she was told, we never advised them that our dog was ill. I explain to her I know for a fact that was not true. I asked if when I picked them up would I be getting a summary of what was performed during their ? She said yes I’d get all that when I picked up my animals. When I arrived I called and they brought the dogs out to me. The technician had no paperwork. When I asked her about it her response to me was “no one called you?” I told her no and explain to her that I specifically called prior to coming and asked whether or not I’d be getting any type of paperwork to explain what was done done to my animals. She apologized and said someone will call me. It’s was 7:08 and I realize that they’re closed and no one has called me. I called today and spoke to a vet, explain everything that happened, she places me on hold and then put Josh the “ lead technician” on the line. He took all of maybe a minute to explain to me what was done to my animals. I expressed my frustration, explained everything that I had to go through to get all of a one minute conversation from them. Explain how unprofessional it is to have to hunt them down to get a phone call to figure out what is going on with my animals and how unprofessional it was for them to lose medical records. I told him I do not believe I’m asking for much but a phone call or some type of summary letting me know what is going on with my animals. I told him I did not feel like I should have to hunt them down to get some type of explanation. I also explained to him that this is my fourth phone call being placed. He told me he was not going to allow me to “bash his vets and if I continue he was going to hang up on me”. Keep in mind there was no yelling or no cursing but something simply me expressing their lack customer service. It’s unprofessional for them to run an office the way that they are doing. It’s unprofessional for a customer to hunt you down for an answer on what was done to their the animals. It’s professional for you to lose something so important as their medical records. I’m currently trying to get out of this nightmare. Please do not send your animals here.

I have an old cat and even though I've taken her to the vet before, the medication they gave her never helped her get better. When I took her here, it was almost overnight how much she improved. After years of being sick, she is now so healthy and so active, she seems like a younger cat. The vet and staff were amazing and so caring and sweet and I'm so thankful for their help.

Brought my dog in to have a mass removed on her face. No one from this facility got back to us regarding her test results I had to keep calling them and on my 3rd call, they finally said they have the test results back. Why did I have to call them to get my results for my dog? Bad communication skills these people have. They didn’t seem to care either. It’s sad that they have these types of people working with animals. I don’t recommend bringing your pet here. Unless you just don’t care about your pet..like these people.

My pet, a Bearded Collie has been going to this facility for almost 3 years. Everything you could ever need is right there at this facility including your pet’s food and grooming too. About The Resort: The management is outstanding and go out of their way to accommodate you in every way they can. The Receptionists treat you like family and are always there to help you and truly go above & beyond. The vet techs are outstanding! They all have caring hearts and give your pet their full attention. The staff works so very hard , and they keep the play area and other areas immaculate. Managers, Anthony and Amanda, well, I just can’t say enough great comments about them. They go out of their way to meet your every need and your pet is like their pet as they are incredibly kind and compassionate people always keeping you informed! The Coral Springs Pet Resort has been my pet’s second home and I couldn’t ask for more intensive care and love given to my dog. He can’t wait to get inside each day and boarding is the best as well! The Hospital: So convenient being connected so if your animal is in daycare and needs to be seen you have the top veterinary specialists right there to take care of any issue. My vet is Dr. Shaw and he is spectacular! When my dog needs his expert care Dr.Shaw will text, call, meet one-on-one as well. I would never have a concern if my Vet was not on call on a specific day and my dog needed to be seen by another Vet there, as they are all experts in their fields and so professional and experienced! I would rate this Pet Resort and Animal Hospital as a First Choice Pick that meets all needs! An easy 10! And Finnegan agrees❤️

Excellent care to my dog (Kirby, he was 13 years old) as he was approaching the Rainbow Bridge almost 2 years ago. Everyone from the front desk the moment I called to inquire about their services and costs , to the moment I brought him in, until the very end, ALL of the staff and Dr were so compassionate and caring; they all made one of the most difficult times in my life seem a bit less painful. Now forward 2 years later, I have another Corgi and 2 cats, and I won't take them anywhere else. Thank you to all of this staff for being so awesome and caring !!!! Please take your pets here, don't look any further !!

Dr. Le Count is an amazing vet, the vet techs are amazing, everyone there is amazing. They always take such good care of my cats. One of them is a “sedation required” cat and even with her extreme aggressiveness they took such good care of my potato. We first took our male kitten to them and decided that this was the place for our female cat as well. Her last vet office would groan if she needed to be brought in and caused her to get an abscess after giving her vaccines (before she was labeled “sedation required”). We were nervous about bringing her anywhere else because of this but are incredibly happy with how VCA Coral Springs & Dr. Le Count treated her. And with our sweet boy they’ve always taken such good care of him every time we’ve brought him in. I highly recommend bringing your pet(s) here.

I started seeing Dr. LeCount in April and I couldn’t be more pleased to have her as my Vet. I have an 11 year old Dalmatian and he isn’t good with people and needs to be muzzled when going to the vet. However, I’ve been amazed that every time I go they can handle my dog in a way where he doesn’t need a muzzle most of the time. That brings me so much relief because whenever he is muzzled he gets very stressed. She’s always been so great and I feel like she really cares about my dog and is always there to answer my questions and get him the help he needs. Hands down one of the best vets ever!
