New to the area I went to different vet and it was a continuous sales pitch so I thought I would try VCA. VCA is very professional and had my dog's best interest in mind. They really helped my dog with a leg injury and I was impressed by their professionalism. We found our "forever vet"

My pets are my children so im very picky about who i trust with them. When Jade came in for a unrelated problem dr. French advised me to get a lump checked out- one that I was previously told by someone else was benign fatty tumor. It was malignant and that terrified me. But the whole staff at vca was with us every step of the way and took the best care of my babygirl. They explained everything very well and were so supportive throughout the process with frequent phone calls and following up checking on her. I highly recommend vca hospitals to anyone now and am eternally grateful to this team for going the extra mile with my literal whole world. Thank you again!!!!

Beautiful facility and staff was great with my Dog Egypt

Great Staff caring and loving they make you feel like you are family. they let you go in with your pet. they even come out to your car to help you with your pet. The facilities are very clean and they are taking extra precaution for your safety and theirs with the covid.

I would give VCA Hillsboro Animal Hospital more stars if I could. I am new to the area and finding a reliable and professional vet has been such a blessing. Sandy, Jan, Dr Beck and others who have helped my moms dog have done an amazing job. Everyone is kind, professional and reliable with texting or calling to check in after a visit. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough about the people here. On my new pup's first visit she slipped her leash in the parking lot and took off running. Several of the staff spent hours helping me look while others posted to social media groups to aid in the search. Thankfully, I did eventually reunite with my dog and it was largely due to the efforts of the folks here and I can't thank them enough. The love for animals here is palpable and I would have to recommend them to anyone. Many many many thanks to the people at VCA Hillsboro!

As far as I'm concerned VCA let my cat die. I brought her in Saturday morning do to a freak accident. They listened to her lungs and heart and said she was all good. They gave her a pain med as well. Through out the day she was acting weird and i called Dr. French twice with red flags related to maybe an adverse reaction to the medication. After the 2nd time she should have said to bring her back in. She did not. we followed her instructions and watched my cat and at no time did she show distress,. She laid around and slept. We thought it was the medication. almost exactly 12 hrs after they gave her the medication she passed away in our arms. As far as im cornered, VCA and Dr French should have done something more when I called and because of that the love of our life that has been with us 17+ years is gone. When she returned my call today she told me that the cat had underling issues from her bloodwork. But she said she noticed a few things when my cat was with her Saturday and still did not go further with any other tests. I truly believe that VCA is in this for the money. I would never bring another pet to them. HERE IS THE FOLLOW UP TO THEIR bs RESPONCE THEY POSTED: This is in reference to my reviews of VCA hillsboro and Dr. French killing my cat and your response to my review.  How dare you write that they gave a referral for follow up specialty care.  They never did. I have the paperwork with me showing just a bill for treatments that I was overcharged for.  At no time was I given a referral.  So that means not only did VCA and Dr. French Murder my cat they also lie to cover their behinds.  When I spoke to Dr. French she proceeded to tell me that when Gypsy was at the clinic she noticed she was unkept and maybe not grooming herself.  At no time did she ever mention that to me or request that we do a few more tests before we leave.  I also called her twice during the day telling her that there was an issue yet she just kept saying watch her.  By the 2nd call she should have said bring her back, there maybe a problem.  SO $420 later she is responsible for killing my cat and I will make sure that everyone I know is told that.  As far as I'm concerned you hire people right out of school with no experience and give them a script and tell them the more you upsell they more money you make.

I recently brought my cat here for the first time when he mysteriously woke up with partial use of a rear leg. They let me come in immediately on a Saturday! I met with Dr. French who was very thorough and caring about “Boots”. After the appointment she followed up at least a couple times to check on “Boots” progress. I’m very pleased with the attention and level of care provided and will be using VCA for future vet visits.

My little guy loves the staff and doctor here. During the pandemic time, you need to call from the car, and a staff would let you and your four legged family members in when they are ready...

Very professional but friendly staff. They answer the call without putting you on hold. Get you in either that day or within a few days. And they usually give you a little gift. I highly recommend any VCA but this one is better than my last one and I loved them!

I took my dog Churchill to Hillsboro Animal Hospital yesterday for a grooming. I have never seen such professional service from the front desk through the entire facility. Billy groomed Churchill so perfectly. He has never looked better. Not only am I using Billy and his excellent service but the hospital also got a patient for life. What a great facility and terrific crew. I couldn’t be happier. They also gave Churchill a complimentary wellness check. I’m so impressed.

First time, in a very long time, that I didn't feel like someone was taking advantage of my love for my pet. Didn't force vaccines on me. Gave me options on meds. Cut my dogs nails, no charge. My dog seemed more relaxed here!???? Discussed my other dog in length, so we will be returning soon. It didn't smell weird either! Beautiful facility, and incredible staff! Let's not forget the gift bag full of goodies! So relieved to think, I may have found the right place finally!! ????❤️

Wonderful, caring staff, especially Dr. Pisano. Our dog loves to go to the vet, and even board there. How many people can say that about an animal hospital? If you're looking for a place you can trust, this is it.

My familar, Roo was attacked by a pitbull out of the blue he grabbed her and shook her. I was sure she was going to die. I beat him off her. She was bleeding but only a little. I called VCA Hillsboro and they said come. We went and took Roo gently from me and cared for her. Flushing her punctures I was told she was a lucky girl. We are home she's very uncomfortable but she's doing well. I am grateful to have been seen so promptly and with such compassion. Thank you and blessed be for your service. Kristen Hanson And Roo

Great service, took good care of vaccines for my 3yr old humane society cat. Cat needs to lose couple of pounds...as do I!!!

I have three dogs and Dr. French takes such great care of all of them ! The care club is awesome as well and highly recommend if you have more than one dog :)

I have taken all of my pets here and they are pet friendly, clean and helpful.
