My Dad lived here a few years ago. As a veteran he enjoyed it. They gave him a place and he did the best he could with the time he had there before relocating. He died last year unfortunately but will always remember his days at 1 pineapple ave :(

I would not even give the Cocoa Veterans Villiage and the VOA that runs it a 1 star. It is located in a very ruff part of town. The facility is not well managed at all and the staff does not care for its Veterans. I am very disappointed and extremely hurt with the VOA in Cocoa. I am not going to slander individuals here or voice my reasons for my opinion. Believe me, I am NOT the only Veteran that lives/lived there that feels exactly the same way. If you would like to know more details, please find me on FB and IM me. V/R Michael Magasano Thank you and God Speed!

Considering the thankless miracles these folks perform, I feel blessed to know each of the staffers I've met. There are usually a few duds in situations like this -- to date, I've met none. I hope my appreciation for them all does not go unnoticed!

Being a veteran I spend some time here and I volunteered quite a bit their Independent Living counselors are as helpful as they can be but the director she is worthless and from what I understand now it's even gotten worse it needs to have a complete overhaul of that organization.

The VOA is a quintessential milestone within veteran's benefits. The staff is very professional and provide a plethora of opportunity for those in need within the uncertain times in their lives. I have the utmost respect for this organization for instilling within me a new found hope in midst of my temporary setbacks within the grand scheme of life. I had a moderately severe injury, and with their well intended purpose helped secure my medical attention to regain my full health. The extremely helpful and proactive nature of the staff on securing what you require to inevitably grow your confidence has greatful influenced and gave me a more positive outlook on a promising future. There are a extreme amount of resources available and they with every fiber want you to succeed. I am proud of the opportunity I have within this inspired organization.
