I have been bringing my pups, Mary and Peyton Brett, to this office since I moved to Florida full time. Always so welcoming and kind. Both have had to have surgery and I love the recovery pics they send to let you know all is well. Many thanks for all you have done !!!

We've tried to be patient with this place but being a cooperate owned company it is difficult to understand how they charge for their services & inability to get timely appointments without waiting forever is unacceptable. The lack of communication the front is horrible.Sharon was rude as heck today when she expected me to know the medication for my dog & took my credit card out load & wrote it on a piece of paper.Long story but unpredictable & Tony is good but wow what another bad experience here between the front office personal is bl

They do not value the health of others. Required mask and doesn’t follow cdc guidelines. Made myself and another female wear a mask but not a male person

Dante is my 12 year old dachshund that I have had for his entire life. This morning he was showing signs of bloat, and I was beyond myself. The young woman who answered the phone was an absolute God send and encouraged me to bring him in as an emergency walk-in. For someone who didn’t have an appointment, the wait time was reasonable. My significant other had to bring him due to me being at work and I was so concerned about miscommunication or that I wouldn’t be able to grant permission for testing that needed to be done. However, Dr. Hollenbeck called me with every update and did allow me to verbally accept testing over the phone as well as communicate any concerns that I had. My family has been bringing their fur babies here for years, and I’m grateful that the staff here listens to the concerns of pet owners. When it eventually comes down to D’s end of life, I will be bringing him here. Thank you!

I've been bringing all my pets here for 5+ years. Now my youngest is on his last legs, how do you decide when it's time? I can't lift my 70lb dog in and out if the car anymore due to his disability as well as mine. He is going to have one last car trip. How does one determine this? I will continue to bring my pets here and I've been impressed with their Covid safety precautions.

My KiKi got hurt while on vacation. When I called, the staff was very sweet and patient asking all of the questions and getting her records transferred from another state so that they had her history waiting for the doctor when I came in. They had me come in immediately warning me I may have a wait but def come in to have her seen. Only waited 20 minutes at most. That’s incredible for a walk in-especially when they were extremely busy! Once I got back into the room it was 5 minutes before the doctor examined her. Discussed best outcome and worst outcome with me and gave me her thoughts on what Was the bet option today. She then asked if she could call and check on Kiki later in the week. Who asks if they can check on the patient? Only a dedicated vet who actually loves her job! Thankyou!! When we move out here I will definitely be transferring to this office full time.

Called our vet and they couldn't see Marley. They said next available isn't until the end of July. I can't go that long for a possible ear infection. So I called a few places and chose to go to this place. They said they could see him right away. They were very friendly and caring. They gave us a puppy bag with free stuff and info which 2 other places I tried previously didn't do. It cost me a fraction of where other places wanted to charge. The only thing I didn't like is they make you wear a mask. There are no mask mandate and the sign should only be if ppl aren't feeling well etc.. but I'm not going to deduct for that bc they were so awesome.

All of our dogs for the past twenty or so years have been going to this hospital and I have always experienced the professionalism, compassion, and skilled training of all the staff from the front desk to the doctors. In April I had to let go of my beloved Pepper. It was one of the absolutely worst days of my life. The staff didn’t rush us and treated Pepper and my family with dignity and respect. On a recent visit with another pet, the staff remembered Pepper and recalled her personality quite well in our conversation. It brought a smile to my face knowing that they remembered her.

We recently had to put a little dog down after 13 yrs of loving her. We had to make the choice quickly as her health had rapidly deteriorated over night. I called multiple places in the Cape as we needed her to be able to get in quickly so she didn't have to suffer anymore. Most places would not see us on short notice, were very expensive or their staff showed no compassion! When I called Chiquita Animal Hospital, they treated us like we had been long time patients though we had never been there. When we arrived they had a room ready for us. They came in and explained how the procedure would go and then gave us as much time as we needed. We never felt rushed or a bother. They were so kind and comassionate throughout the entire process! We couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a horrible time in our lives. Thank you Dr. Betts and Katy for welcoming us and being so kind. We will look no further for all our vet needs.

Our 1st apt today & we couldn't say enough good things. From the front desk staff to Amanda & Brian the tech's & the Dr's ...all were just awesome! It was PJ's 1st vet visit & they all made it a great experience. Also the cost was definitely fair.

From the very moment I walked in the staff was very very friendly. My poor pup has pink eye and we just wanted to be sure it wasn’t a scratch. They put up with my dogs over-dramatics. The wait to see the available walk in vet was not long at all. As soon as they finished up they answered any questions we had and sent us home with the cutest goodie bag. They even messaged to make sure buggy was okay. Sweetest vet i’ve ever been to. Highly recommend!!

I had an amazing experience at Chiquita! All of the technicians are amazing and the doctors do not rush or push anything on you. They take AMAZING care of my pets and I can’t imagine going elsewhere. Thank you staff of Chiquita!

Don’t bring your animal here please they will just try to sell you 100$ dog food and still ask you to bring your pet in instead of doing everything in one visit take your animals else where please!

Well I had already had a bad experience but went with my daughter recently and they made us wait in the car and hour after an appointment was set and then had my son come in for his cat and waiting and hour in waiting room to be then told to wait another couple hours. Stop telling us to come in if you can't get us in.

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! My parents dog is currently having emergency surgery at another vet to correct the many mistakes Dr. Betts made during a "routine" surgery and the horrible neglect and abuse he received by everyone at Chiquita the days following the surgery. If he doesn't make it through this emergency surgery I 100% blame Chiquita. They seriously don't know what they are doing!

I frantically rushed my sick cat Kukik to VCA Chiquita Animal Hospital, realizing his life was on the line, and was fortunately met by a team of technicians and Dr. Catherine Betts who immediately triaged and saved my kitty. I cannot recommend Dr. Betts and VCA Chiquita Animal Hospital more highly for their professionalism, expertise, and caring.

Took my dog there on 1/30/20 for what I thought was a eye infection. After Dr Betts checked her out. I was told she had Glaucoma in her left eye, probably is blind and recommend her eye should be removed. She gave me some medicine for her discomfort and was charged 139.33 for the visit. I took my dog to another vet for a second opinion. After checking her out. They said she didn't have Glaucoma, wasn't blind and didn't need her eye removed. She was looked at today and I was told she,s getting better. This is the second time Chiquita Animal Hosp has missed diagnosed one of my dogs. Shame on me for bringing her there.

I brought my Maisy Mae in after she had been limping for a few weeks. Turns out she needed surgery. Dr Betts was amazing! She did a wonderful job with the surgery. After a couple weeks of recovery and some physical therapy Maisy Mae is walking and running on her leg again! She is back to her old self Thanks to Dr Betts!!

Dr K and Dr Tuttle are both excellent veterinarians. My family brings all their animals here. Chiquita Animal Hospital took great care of my cat when he got sick. Thanks for helping Persey live a long happy life. I miss him dearly and think about him often. ????????????❤

Our 12 year old baby became very sick. The vet team was so compassionate and kind to us. They showed us love and care on one of the worst days we have had to experience. I will never forget their professionalism or their kindness. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
