It’s already stressful enough doing a short notice PCS (permanent change of station) from the States to Overseas by thankfully the one part of my move that wasn’t stressful was bringing my little man to join me. I highly recommend to any service members who are going overseas because when I tell you these guys did all the leg work… THEY SURE DID! From the little updates about coordinating to get my dog from my old base to the airport to giving me updates as he was in transition, oh did I mention they were able to drop him off to the base I am stationed at ! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better transport team. I will definitely be using them when it’s time to head back to the States ????

Starwood animal transport has been wonderful to work with especially during this complicated time. They worked tirelessly to ensure that my girl would get to me in the UK safe and sound despite all the curve balls the pandemic threw at them; flight cancellations, changes in protocols, delays etc. We had to make last minute changes to my girl’s trip but Starwood ensured that they would handle all the changes and issues that may arise. They always had a plan which was very reassuring. They always kept me up to date on her progress; sending me photos and flight progress along the way. Very communicative and trustworthy. Moving a pet to a different country can be quite a complicated, stressful and exhaustive task but Starwood made it so much easier. They treat your pet like it was their own; giving the best care possible. They are fantastic, highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Starwood. You just have no idea what all is needed when your pet is traveling to another country. It took a while due to all the issues with Covid. I have been working with Starwood for over a year to plan the move of 5 cats and 1 large dog to Europe. Our schedule was delayed a year due to COVID, we needed to coordinate our people and household move with the pet move. Our consultant was utterly patient, always passionate about the pets' well being, and gave us the confidence we needed in order to make this journey. All pets traveled on the same flights as we did, and they were brilliant at the tail end to coordinate delivery to our destination lodgings. It was very tough for us to trust sending our two dogs with anyone we didn't know, yet we also realized that post the impact of covid, flying and relocating our pets became more challenging. Airlines we typically have flown with were no longer flying medium sized dogs from the US to other European countries and we were afraid our lack of experience with paperwork requirements and procedures could also cause something to go wrong with relocating our dogs. So we decided to trust Starwood Animal Transport and it was worth every penny. Both of our beloved dogs made it safely to Denmark and had been well cared for along the way. Our Starwood agent Ryan who managed the process understood how stressful this was for us and made sure to offer lots of communication and was very responsive when we reached out. Our pets needed to get on a Lufthansa flight out of Chicago, which was a 6 to 7 hour drive from where we were packing up our home and planning our departure. The dog handler Steve that came to ensure our dogs made it through the process and on to the flight, was professional and caring. He made sure we saw pictures of the dogs throughout their stay with him as they prepared for flight. The dogs truly looked very happy and were out on walks getting exercise and attention. Lufthansa had to cancel the first flight due to extreme July heat, but Starwood took care of our dogs and had them rebooked for flight 2 days later when the temperature was safe. In a few years when we need to relocate back to the US we will be contacting Starwood Animal Transport to ensure our dogs have the best care getting back home.

You won't find a company thats more well-versed in this complicated process, ESP. with new Covid complications to travel, and comparing them in price to other companies, they're most competitive for the amount of steps they handle of your moving process and for their expert assurance & wonderful coverage of all parts of your move. (If you find a cheaper company, be worried; you may find they don't handle some steps in this complex process, and at your expense.) My dedicated agent, Ryan, was incredibly responsive; she answered FULLY every single question I had, on a daily basis, she kept us on schedule, she genuinely cared about me and my animal, she streamlined every step, even with catching that my vet had been late in sending paperwork through, she stepped in to remind them and enabled things to progress on time for signature. She took every step to help us. Id recommend them to anyone moving their animal. I spent months comparing companies, theyre the best.

The great folks at Starwood took over the coordination of the export & import side of transporting my dog & two cats across the Atlantic when I relocated from the US to the UK last week. My whole move had been a relatively sudden decision after accepting a job in December. And I didn’t finalize a starting date until mid-January, so everything had to be coordinated to a relatively tight deadline that was only a little over 2 months away. It was incredibly stressful all around, there was so much to do (selling a house, packing up the house & arranging transatlantic shipping, relocating the pets, etc), but I couldn’t have been in better hands on the pet front. Sarah, our Pet Relocation Coordinator, was fantastic & kept me updated with everything on the step by step timeline. She made sure everything was in order with each step, & was able to coordinate a pet cab to collect the pets & take them to the airport on flight day. She also coordinated things on the UK side, so that there was smooth communication to allow the pets to be collected by a local company that was picking them up after they were cleared through customs, & delivering them to where I was staying. All in all, despite being a really stressful process, especially with a short turnaround, Starwood really were huge stars! I couldn’t have retained my sanity without them. I’m a veterinarian & I would absolutely recommend using a professional company if you’re doing an international relocation with pets. They will make sure all the i’s are dotted & t’s are crossed. These days, there’s so much red tape & paperwork involved, & you don’t need to get caught short at the last minute. A professional pet relocation company will make sure that doesn’t happen, & I can thoroughly recommend Starwood after my experience working with them.

We moved from California to London, UK with our Maltese dog who was traveling by plane for the first time. He has anxiety, like many other small dogs, so we were initially very worried about him being sent on a separate plane from us. However, our Starwood Animal Transport agent Ryan would send us updates and was always very patient, responsive to all our questions, and understanding of our feelings. When our dog arrived, he was very happy to see us and was in good health. It took him four or so days to get back to his usual self, which is incredibly quick given his anxiety, separation from us, first airplane trip, and a move to a new country. If you are planning to travel with your dog, we highly recommend Starwood Animal Transport. They take great care of the dogs, feeding them, giving them water, and walking them during layovers (our dog first arrived in Texas, from where he then flew to London).

Out-of-country Pet transport services. I was very worried about my anxious kitty Angel flying across to London. Starwood looked to be the best company to do the job. Once I talked to Adam, I was assigned Ryan and she was very helpful in letting me know what all was needed for Angel in her travels. They (Ryan and Melissa, assigned for the transport) took extra care in assuring me that she would be taken care of and Melissa was great in getting me through the day of flight! Once we were on this side and I had gotten to the house we were told it would be a while before Angel would be brought to us. We were able to contact their services (Gemma was the contact) and be updated on when she would be brought to us here at the house.
