I had been going to this groomer for my 3 dogs (2 miniature Schnauzers and a Westie) for nearly 6 years with no problems whatsoever. On my latest visit, I was unable to pick my dogs up when the grooming was complete due to a doctor's visit. I had my adult son (who was just visiting) pick my dogs up for me. When he arrived at the salon, the groomer (Nicole) began telling him how 'AWFUL' my dogs are to groom. She told him that my Westie 'attacked' her. She told him that the only reason that I come to Dog Days Delight is because no other groomers in the area will take my dogs. This is a total LIE. As I said, for SIX years, Nicole had never said anything about my dogs being problematic. Why she felt compelled to blow off steam on my son is beyond me. This is totally unprofessional! When my son got home with my dogs, my Westie could barely walk. Once I learned what happened, I called and asked for the salon owner to call me so that I could explain what happened. She never called. They have now lost 3 grooming customers.

They are great with my mothers dog. Bubba loves to visit and he doesn't want to leave. We leave him for a few days, this is the only people she trusts with her big baby! He doesn't care for getting his nails cut but he doesn't like anyone doing that.

They clean my puppy's teeth and clip her nails. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!

Brought my 5 month old pup to get a wash and nail trim. 45 mins later I was told he was bleeding from a small hole. The groomer did not seem concerned. When I got him home, the “small hole” was actually a big deep gash where his flesh was missing. After speaking to the owner who told me my dog smelled like fish from the food he eats (does not even pertain to the actual gash my dog had) I had to take my dog to staples in his leg. She did not own up to having hurt him or even saying what happened. BEWARE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!!!! First time and the last. Go somewhere professional and who you can trust. this establishment is not worth the trouble!!!

Where do I begin? I was not the slightest bit delighted after my service at Dog Days Delight. My 5 month old pup left this place with a laceration to his hind leg. We were told activated charcoal was administered to stop the cut from bleeding. We didn’t realize the severity of the wound due to it being masked. Upon arriving home, and given a closer inspection, we noticed the wound to be more alarming than presented. We decided to call to raise our concern, and to get answers as to what happened. The owner was not as forthcoming as we expected. Accountability was all we were hoping for, but instead we received no remorse. The night ended with a trip to an emergency animal hospital. What was meant to be a simple nail cutting and bath ended with staples to a laceration. If you love your animal, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!!!

Heard reviews online about the lack of accountability from this establishment, while i understand things can happen during simple steps ill never understand a client coming to me saying they had to take there family pet to the hospital for staples and I brush it off as if it were nothing smh.. I highly recommend trying other groomers in the area Even “Sunshine” nicked my baby and sent me with antibiotics and a couple free grooms! I could appreciate them trying to make up for it in the future. Stay away from this place

They take such good care of my french bulldog and they are reasonably priced. Was taking her to pet smart and that was a rip off. So glad we found dog days delight!

We bring my fur baby Cameo here for grooming and he gets so excited every time he comes! Nicole does an amazing job with him and he always comes home happy as can be! Prices are affordable and staff is very professional and friendly! Highly recommend

I have had my Yorkie groomed there several times. Its a 30+ minute drive from my home in Punta Gorda. But its been worth the drive.

Took great care of my 2 dogs . What is great instead of putting elastic pulling on dogs hair for ornament she uses stretch material with the ornament on it . No pain to pets.

Have been bringing our dog here for years and they always do a great job. They save his cut style in the system and always ask if that's how we want him cut that visit of we change it it's never a problem. Staff is always friendly here and place seems clean and well kept. Would recommend "Dog Days Delight "to anybody looking for a new dog groomer!
