Very expensive, didn't give me much detail on anything and had to wait about an hour. On top after that my dog had another allergic reaction to the medication they prescribed her and I still had to buy the medicine to help with that....got ripped off

Was told because my dog was on a controlled substance medication and that each and every time she needs a refill she will need to be seen ok rules are rules it's a cheaper visit they said So when I brought her in for first refill it's a wam bam thank you mam pay at the desk. Your not allowed to discuss any prior findings on the dog you see that's all extra it now becomes a $65.00 office visit for an established patient Really ! My Princess has a fatty cyst on her chest that's bothering her it was addressed at the first visit when we did ALL blood work and I was charged $250.00 shes 14 years old and shes very very uncomfortable you see but theres no concern for that and no appointments for today sir and its gonna be $65.00 for the vist no concern whatsoever about her suffering just about the money then the receptionist hangs up on us Unbelievable !! You'd think there would be concern for the Animal first and foremost thanks Care Animal Hospital for not caring about my suffering Princess

Our dog Ruby went in for her yearly shots, and checkup. Dr. Stephanie and her team are always so nice, and have taken care of my pets for 10 years. I will always trust my dogs in their hands.

Set up a appointment to get some oral flea meds and asked if they could write me a script so I could purchase off Chewy. You would think they would mention they will not speak to chewy so you MUST mail in the script… I am just finding this out 5 days later and now have to priority mail the script out so I won’t have the flea meds in time for our vacation. At least post a notice on the front desk or in exam rooms for less frustration in the future.

This place is the most highly qualified, professional, courteous, loving place for emergency treatment, routine treatment, boarding, etc. & they even have a petting zoo. We & our two dogs love it.

I have visited nearly every exotic animal veterinarian within a 50 mile radius of my home and have found nearly all of them to be dismissive and uncaring toward my pets just because they are not conventional pets such as dogs or cats. Other exotic veterinarians are almost always booked full and unwilling to see pets on short notice without charging an arm and a leg. Dr. Rubinstein is the first exotic veterinarian that I have had the pleasure of meeting that has taken the time to get to know me and my pets and explains anything he observes and does. He is kind, caring, and punctual and treats me and my pets with respect always. He does many things free of charge, which means so much to me as a current college student. I will take all of my exotic pets to Care in the future, I appreciate all of the work the technicians and Dr. Rubinstein do for my pets!

All staff are super nice, exotic vet bill was absolutely reasonably priced and the exotic vet himself is extremely nice and give you some knowledge on your animal so you can give it the best care. Absolutely would recommend to ANYBODY who is looking for a vet or even an exotic animal vet!!

These people really care about our pets. I have a rescue Staffordshire Terrier that's very protective of me and acts quite aggressive when anyone gets within about 8ft of us. Taking her to the vet is never easy to say the least. Christmas Eve she was given a ham bone (I KNEW better!) that I supervised her chewing the meat off. I took it away before she started breaking the bone (I thought) however, I missed her swallowing a rather sharp bone fragment. This became lodged in her esophagus, causing her to vomit everything immediately after eating. Not wanting to take a chance I was at their offices when they opened Monday morning and after a brief phone call once they opened to make them aware of the situation and let them know I was outside they told me to come on in and get signed in and they would make sure Ladybug was seen. They worked her in, handled sedating her quickly and as humanely as possible considering a 60 lb hell hound was actively trying to eat us all. Within an hour I received a phone call from Dr. Courtney with the options for treatment. I was picking a very sleepy Ladybug up and taking her home by 1:30. Her prescriptions and instructions ready to go, Dr. Courtney shared her findings and instructed me on her aftercare and what to watch for, etc. The next day, they even called to check on Bug and make sure she was showing signs of improvement and not declining. Ladybug is on the mend thanks to the dedication of the staff at Care Animal Hospital. I couldn't be more thankful for the level of care and compassion they provide. I would definitely recommend Dr. Courtney and Care Animal Hospital.

They were awesome as always. My little girl cat has a matt on her back and needed her yearly shots and nail trim. They did it all and my cat was so calm with them. I wouldn't take any of my pets any where except to care because they really do CARE. THANK YOU AGAIN CARE FOR THE WONDERFUL TREATMENT. ❤️❤️

Well I decided to give them another try, since they are so close to my house. But they failed again. Prices do not match what you are charged in the location. Everything is a bait and switch. When I ask why the prices are different I was told they are working hard to fix this. And there wasn't anyone on location to escalate my problem to. Pretty much told me to go home and they will call to let me know if they can honor there online prices.

I'm a volunteer Wildlife Rehabilitator with FWC and I had an opossum who was very sick and I didn't know if she would have to be euthanized. I've dealt with Dr. Rubinstein with other wildlife in the past and he's always treated the animals very well. Today, his performance was exceptional. Originally, I was supposed to drop off the animal due to there were no open appointments. I met with his Vet Tech, explained the situation because Dr. Rubinstein was busy with other clients at the time. While speaking to the Vet Tech, Dr. Rubinstein approached me, gave me the opportunity to explain the situation with the opossum, then allowed me to stay with the animal as I was escorted to a treatment room by his Vet Tech. Dr. Rubinstein and his Vet Tech were supportive, empathetic to my needs, and most of all, after completion of the exam, gave me a sense of hope and the opossum a fighting chance of survival. I had been caring for her since she'd been struck by a car and was blind. I just wanted to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Rubinstein and his Vet Tech for outstanding service. Both individuals exemplified professionalism, but more importantly, human compassion. Thank you

I have taken both my personal dogs as well as my foster dogs to this veterinary clinic and they have been the best clinic to work with. They are very flexible with appointments and being able to get me in last minute if needed which is very helpful with my senior dogs.

I thought I would share my experience with Care Animal Hospital I have a chihuahua that I found out was pregnant made an appt to get her in they did x-rays and determined she has 4 puppies and that I would have puppies in the next few weeks asked us to check her temperature every day that when it dropped, she would start the first stage. So, we had been checking Sunday her temperature dropped and Monday we were concerned so we called got the receptionist who I will not name and she explained that we needed to google the 1st stage and we did oh man some of the stuff we read. So come Tuesday nothing called to see if they could see her and went to see the doctor explained what we were told on Monday and she explained that should not be saying that and should have asked a vet they said my baby was ok and should go into 2nd stage in 12 hours. Well 12 hours goes by and nothing still concerned the next morning which is now Wednesday I called again explained what the vet said and she told me the same thing to google it unless I see she is in distress. Well, that was it I said my baby is not going to be treated this way and called a vet my friend recommended please bring her in immediately she may have to have a c-section. We got there and they took my baby back and said the puppies may not make it or the mom because they did not think the puppies were viable that is not what I was expecting to hear so upset. My baby never showed signs she was in pain, hurting anything of any signs on what Care had mentioned to look for but she had pale gums. They immediately did an IV and ultrasound came back and said the puppies are viable but they had to work fast. My baby had a c-section and had 4 puppies over the course of hours 2 puppies did not make it was said they were over cooked, so at 5:30 was able to take my baby home with 2 of the puppies that did not make it either because they had weak puppy syndrome. It was a very tragic event that could have been prevented had they took care of my baby better and not telling me when I called for concerns to google it.
