I was going to bring my dog to a different vet for a ruptured non cancerous mass on her leg, and the only option they had was leg amputation. I was so devastated thinking that was my only option, but my gut told me to get a 2nd opinion. I came to Animal Medical Service’s they made me feel so much better, and hopeful for my dog and ended up removing the mass!! The photo posted is pre surgery look how large!! And it is gone! I am so grateful!! Highly recommended!!!

I love everyone at Animal Medical. Tiffany, Jim, Jenna, Dr. Carrol are all amazing They are great with my dogs, cats and bunny! Absolutely the best vet clinic in the Brandon, Riverview, Valrico area and maybe all of Tampa in my opinion! I’ve been going here for 7 years and have never been disappointed with the care or quality of how my animals are treated and how they treat the human clients as well! Top notch!!!

My dog, Molly , was suffering with a UTI. I called her regular vet, and they said they were too busy to see her that day. Knowing she was in pain, and not doing very well, I called Animal Medical Center to see if they would take her, even though she was not one of their patients. There was no hesitation, and she was being seen within the hour. Needless to say we have a new vet now. Everyone was very pleasant, friendly and extremely professional. After only one dose of antibiotics, there was a marked improvement in Molly's condition. Thank you to the entire staff.

Was told I had two options (and I was explicitly told that this was coming from their 30 years in the service), pay thousands in expensive medical bills or put my dog down. Well, I did neither and my dog is doing great. I took him to a farm vet out in Hardy (I was not charged a dime btw). If you're in a hard spot with your pet, this is the vibe I got; They will weigh the damage to the pet and then weigh your emotional attachment to the pet and then calculate the cost and how many services they can squeeze out of you. They are more than willing to offer you an installment plan to indenture you to their establishment as well. The services were provided with my wife's bank account, in response to the response.

I cannot thank the staff at Animal Medical Center enough! Everyone is always super nice and helpful. Dr. Marks has helped my dog Molly with her seizures. Her seizures have been minimized and I am so thankful. The vet techs are awesome and the staff is very responsive. I highly recommend this vet clinic. Thank you and God bless you all.

When I was 12 we took our family German Shepherd to see Dr. A. We brought her to Animal Medical Center after a not so great experience at another vet where they were rough with her. Twenty years later the family Shepherd is gone but I continue to drive 35 minutes to take my three dogs to this clinic. Dr. A does not practice anymore but we love Dr. Marks and Dan. I have always felt well taken care of. They spend time with you and do a really thorough job. Some of my dogs can be a pain to deal with but everyone has always been so kind and understanding. They are so knowledgeable I have so much trust in them when it comes handling and caring for my dogs. If they ever closed or moved too far away I would be so distraught. I really love them and appreciate all they do.

They were amazing, super fast and efficient. Nice and clean. Would definitely recommend them to anybody looking for good care for their pet.

My wife and I along with my boxer Reese and our black lab Ruger recently moved from Georgia back to Plant City where we grew up and knew we needed to find a animal clinic to care for our dogs. Furthermore it had been recommended that we try The Animal Medical Center in Brandon, FL and we could not have been more pleased. the entire staff from the front office to the technicians and Veterinarians could not have been more professional, caring and kind. Lastly, my boxer Reese has been battling IBD and other issues over the last few years, thus we are so blessed and thankful that we were able to find the Animal Medical Center in Brandon, FL. Animal Medical Center came to our rescue during a stressful time for us with our cat. They were able to take her in with short notice, treated her and we left with the required medications, very convenient. I feel the office visit was very reasonable. Dr Ian and staff are professional, efficient, and caring. We will definitely return in the future and I highly recommend them.

They did amazing job taking care of my baby Smokey. They make sure he was taken care of and I went home with everything I needed to take care of him properly and if I had any questions they were there for us.

I took my 5 year old dog for the first time, who is not friendly and she was treated with so much love that I was so impressed that she was so perfect with the staff. I also took my 6 week old kitten and they treated her so lovingly that I will stay with them, thank you for treating my babies with such delicacy and dedication. :)

I called the office of Animal Medical Center and asked fo an appointment for a well kitty check up. I got an appointment that afternoon. Great service!!!! I was greeted by the front desk as soon as I walked in, filled out a paper and was taken back asap. The Vet, Dr. Ian Marks and Asst. Ashley were kind and very thorough. The kitten was a bit scared and Dr. Marks took her in his arms, and cuddled her. She was relaxed the rest of the time. Ashley was fabulous, very patient, and trimmed the Kittens' nails perfectly per my request . The office called me the day after the kitten had her shots to see if she was doing okay.! It was a great experience. Excellent care, great communication, very professional and wonderful people. My cat has a Vet for the life!

This was my first time coming to this Vet office and meeting Dr. Marks. The staff is friendly and I was able to get right in. I liked the treatment recommendations and I plan to continue taking all of my pets to this clinic.

This clinic sent out flyers advertising... “Pay just $1 To see Brandon’s Most Beloved Vet!” (and save over $58.00 with this special offer!) New Clients only. ???????????? What an absolute joke & untrue! I called and made an appointment. Once there...I got there 15 minutes early...I was the only one there and still waited 40 minutes before a vet assistant finally came out to tell me they couldn’t use my $1.00 vet checkup coupon because my dog was considered sick and the cost would be $76.00 to have my dog seen, not including anything else my dog might need done; all because I mentioned my dog had some issues I was concerned about! WOW!! They considered my dog SICK, therefore the coupon couldn’t be used?? What a farce!! Of all things bringing in a sick dog to be vet checked!! Being absolutely frustrated and disappointed, I left without them seeing my dog! They proved to me they were more concerned with MONEY rather than the care of my pet! This clinics sends out these FLYER ADs but doesn’t accept the discount they advertise!! This is very deceiving, and NOWHERE on the flyer does it state you cannot bring in a sick dog to be checked!! As a matter of fact, it DOES state on the front upper left side with two kittens talking to one another, “Only $1 to see the Vet...Really??? And you wouldn’t know it but I feel a bit yucky...so lets go!” YUCKY! Wouldn’t you think yucky as being SICK!! Don’t believe them! ????????

I’ve been to places where I’ve taken my Lola and she seems down after. This was my first time at this location and when leaving I was on edge all day wondering how she would be taken care of as its hard to trust places sometimes. However when I picked her up she was as happy as she is at home. They did an amazing job at grooming Lola that I was wowed. You can tell that the team really cares about what they do and I’m more than grateful to have found them. This is from now on going to be Lola’s go to for grooming, vaccinations, and proscriptions. Prices are super reasonable as well. Thank you all for your awesome work.

recently brought my dog in for a large hematoma on her ear. dr marx examined her and gave me options for a remedy. i went with his suggestion of minor surgery for a permanent fix of her ear. all people involved were knowledgible and kind to my dog wilma. after surgery dr marx personally called to check on her well being. would recommend these folks to anyone looking for a caring compassionate vet

We were long time patients of another great local clinic. However, as they grew they were unable to see our cat, Walter in a life threatening emergency. Referring us to Blue Pearl at 1 pm on a Tuesday. AMC was so accommodating in fitting us in and saving Walters life. You will NOT find a more compassionate, fun and loving staff!!

Dr Marks and his the amazing team are awesome, they take good care of my yorkie Mia who has kidney disease. The grooming was great too, I highly recommend them to my friends and family.

I absolutely love everything about Animal Medical Center, the receptionists are incredibly friendly and sweet, the technicians are just as amazing and the Dr really takes the time to talk to you and get to know your pet. Absolutely recommend to anyone!

After having a terrible experience with another Veterinary establishment and having mutually concluded it be best I find another one, and after Googling and finding a Vetrinarian name I immediately recognized, I knew before I even called them I would be very happy, and I was certainly not wrong. Dr. Marks and his staff listened to my concerns as a pet parent of 3 dogs, that I am understandably cost conscious, and they treated my concerns genuinely. Defintely reccommend.
