This week I took an older kitty in to the vet to do some major damage control. A prior situation had left this old man cat with severely overgrown claws. The staff was very understanding and listened to the history given. They offered us multiple courses of action. also helped us navigate the different treatments that Kitty would be needing in the future. They broke it down by packages, prices and side effects. They were sure to spell out all our options very clearly. I appreciate the kindness they showed to our geriatric fur friend and I look forward to taking him back there for the follow up and for further treatments. They were also very accommodating when a scheduling issue came up.

We recently moved to the area and our dog suddenly started falling. We tried a few things, eventually referred to neurologist who found sarcoma in the neck pressing on the spinal cord. We weighed our options for a few weeks as she declined and eventually decided to euthanize her. Coastal was very sympathetic and accommodating. They have good hours and availability. Prices seemed reasonable and they have some discount packages available. I would go there again if I'm in need of their services.

This is the best Veterinarian team I have ever worked with, with special praise for Dr. Massi who is awesome. My family was in route to another country with our pets and needed CAMC assistance in helping us meet a very short deadline. The entire team was responsive and helpful and we never would have made it without the entire team pulling out all the stops to make it happen. I'm pretty sure Dr. Massi has met all requirements for Sainthood, but she would probably miss the ceremony so she could continue taking care of her patients. We drove across the country to work with this team, and we made the right decision. AMAZING!!!

We are new to Florida, and this Veterinarian office was recommended by a family member. The office itself is nice enough, as is the staff. However; after paying over $1,100 for tests, we were then told that all of the tests were inconclusive and needed further attention that we would additionally have to pay for. For that $1,100 we did not get any results or treatment - just tests that ended up not being useful in any way. That money could have gone towards actually treating our pup. We’ve received a couple of other recommendations from people who had similar experiences with this practice, and we will be seeking a different office moving forward.

Very nice, patient, and caring. Price I feel was not outrageous but in the ballpark of what someone who wants the best for their best friend and they told me up front before they did anything.

I have been bringing our rescue poodle here since we got him four years ago. They have always done well by him and seem to give you all the data and inf needed to keep him in good condition.

Dr. Michelle and Morgan were absolutely amazing, patient and so empathetic with my very anxious pup on his first visit. I can’t thank them enough for their compassion and understanding in what can make for a stressful visit to the vet. You all are incredible at what you do!

Best veterinarian I've ever taken my animals to! The staff is so caring, friendly, and knowledgeable and the doctors have been so compassionate and knowledgeable through the difficult times and very patient with my questions and concerns during wellness and diagnostic visits. Both of my dogs get so excited to go see their second family at Coastal Animal Medical Clinic! I highly recommend CAMC!

Disgusted with this practice. Very questionable billing process. They take advantage of vulnerable pet owners during crisis. My invoice has $300+ of random line items for an expert to review the x-rays that is a complete fabrication. Unable to provide who the expert was and how I can contact them. Did not provide any follow up call or email with the experts opinion bc said expert does not exist. Nothing but lies when I called to question them and they are all family so you can’t get anywhere when an actual mistake is made. Same X-rays were $500 less at University Animal Clinic a week later. If you love your pet STAY AWAY FROM THESE JOKERS.

The worse medical center for pets My cat snowball a pure Persian died due to blood clog that in the center they could not detect and by the time I took him to ER it was too late. I brought my cat in to this clinic when I first noticed she was limping and vomiting, the doctor recommended a expensive blood test that she said they would not have time to wait for the results any ways, the doctor could not think any reason why the cat was limping. After the blood test, the next day they call with the result saying all was fine, Minor worries about the liver, nothing to worry… a week later my cat wakes up with a seizure at 3:00 am we rushed her in to ER where she died after her entire body was cover with blood clogs. This clinic could’ve at least prevent the suffering my cat had during all these days if they have real trained profesional that could’ve investigated the real reason of the limping but all they concentrated was on the teeth treatment they wanted to do…the doctor was focus on what was not important… when I told them we came from Dubai, from the day one I took my two pets in, they were just recommended things the cats didn’t need and they ignored the real problem. Six months ago when they did vaccination for the cats they didn’t know they can’t stamp the passports of the animals that travel abroad, they have no experience with animals that come from other countries. With procedures like the vaccine protocols for travel etc.. So sad for my cat this was the only vet clinic closer to our home and being new in the area and not knowing any better.

I had a animal emergency on Sunday 5/30. I could find no other center open but fortunately Coastal Animal Medical Center was. I rushed into the office and just stated that I needed some help with a wounded animal and explained my situation. They immediately responded and were very concerned and professional. My situation was a little unique but it showed me who they were and I now trust them with my animal needs going forward. A big Thank You to them!

We waited on their waitlist for our puppy to be spade. In the meantime, she went into heat(which is obviously one of the reasons we wanted her to be spay in the first place). Waited an extra month(on their waitlist) only for them to call the day before her surgery and say she can't do it unless she has A BUNCH of vaccines prior to....NO THANK YOU. Also, they sent me the invoice for the procedure...they added a BUNCH of stuff to it...for a small 15 lb puppy it was $850. I called the Humane Society of Srq and they were able to get me in within 2 weeks and it is ONLY $150 and they don't require anything other than the vaccine she has. This place is OVERPRICED, in it for the money ONLY and doesn't truly care to help you or your pet. We won't be going back.

Clean and thorough, but they require face masks and won't let you go back with your pet for the exam.

I called wanting to know if my dog could come for a wellness exam, and the people were so friendly and so helpful. They were very patient with all of my questions, and all my concerns. They also had great information that really helped me and it was very easy to talk to them. I recently took my dog to my 1st exam and the staff is very nice. They are so complimentary over the dog and they are so kind to them. Over all, best vet I have ever been/talked to!! Amazing!!!! I a

I have had some good experiences here, but sadly we had a really scary incident and I luckily grabbed my dog and ran out of there! My Weim had chipped his toenail past the quick, and the paw looked infected and swollen. My husband took him right over and got the strangest response from the Dr.! He said "Oh my god!" (first sign of incompetence). Then proceeded to tell my husband that he would need to put my dog under right away and see what was going on. It was actually really obvious what was going on, he had an infection. Then the Dr. said, we may have to amputate his foot depending on what is going on and what I find in the x-ray. As soon as that was brought up, my husband said, what about trying antibiotics first? The Dr. then said, oh yes, we can do that first. What??? He grabbed the medicine and we never went back. Our sweet boy was fine after a few days on antibiotics. Thank god we avoided the x-ray, and possible amputation! Never again!

There are not enough good words to describe Coastal and the care received there. My husband and I moved here from Arizona, where we had adopted our dogs Scooter and Pooter. In Arizona, our vet (a well-known clinic) had Scooter labeled as aggressive. Mind you, this was the most loving angel - he was just, understandably, nervous at the vet. Trips to the vet weren't uncommon for him, he had seizures and other health issues frequently, so taking him there and seeing him muzzled left a sour taste in my mouth, though I absolutely understood needing to keep staff safe. After moving to Florida, we began taking Scooter and Pooter to Coastal Animal Clinic. Scooter continued to have health issues. Despite many vet visits, Scooter was never labeled a problem. The staff, nurses and vets, would take him from my arms and carry him back, coaxing him all the way. They were excited to see him when he came in. Not to mention, they cared. Dr. Massi in particular. When we found a lump on Scooter, Dr. Massi was so kind, so empathetic when giving us the news. She was honest upfront, but also saw Scooter for who he was - a fighter, who was not ready to leave our side. She gave the most compassionate care with the first mass removal, and when the second appeared a year later, she remained so optimistic. The staff were all concerned, and squeezed us in more than once on a jam-packed schedule day when Scooter needed it. We were able to control his symptoms and love on him for three extra months, thanks to Dr. Massi and her care. We always knew he was safe with Dr. Massi and the other vets and staff. We knew his best interests were always in mind. He lasted 4x's longer than expected, and this was truly due to the loving care received at Coastal. Losing Scooter was the hardest thing ever, but made easier due to the compassion of Dr. Massi and Coastal staff. If it were not with Dr. Massi, I don't think I could have done it. I will be forever grateful to her and Coastal for caring for and loving Scooter as much as we did. If you're looking for a new vet, trust me when you say you've found that and so much more at Coastal.

I took my new new kitten to this office for her first check up. The office staff were very friendly and welcoming. Due to COVID I had to wait in the exam room and they did the actual exam in their back treatment room. The vet then came in afterwards to talk to me. Dr Kristin was very informative and discussed my kittens health with me at length. The cost was reasonable, Dr knowledgeable, staff professional. Highly recommended!!

They were awesome. They fit me in this morning as an emergency. Our Sadie dislocated her hip and they kept her and were able to fix her up. The doctor (Dr. Agena) and her assistant were very kind. they kept me updated all day. I would highly recommend them. They also offer boarding.
