Dr.Calhoon was wonderful. So caring and treated me and my pet with so much respect. The technician (I think her name was sharisse) And doctor saw my pet in a timely manner and I left with confidence that my dog was going to be okay. Great place. Joker says thank you Dr.Calhoon ❤️????

Went because Riley was not keeping food down. The entire staff was wonderful. All treated Riley with great care. Doctor was also great explaining everything in detail. Would go again if necessary.

I brought my hamster here and they were so kind. They did everything they could to help both me and him!

I had the unfortunate circumstance of saying goodbye to my 13 year old Boston Terrier on Christmas Day due to lymphoma. The staff were absolutely amazing here. We were in and out over several days, each time we were met with such care and compassion until the end. It was so nice to receive a sympathy card from them. Highly highly recommend and thank you to the staff for your support and patience.

This is the best place to take your vet the stuff and the doctor is amazing they helpful and they knowledge they know everything and friendly and it’s easy to talk to the doctors and they answer the phone fast and they let you see your pet any time you want they give you a time they helpful and amazing. I recommend this place for everyone they need help . I try other place as it’s not the same with this place . I have my Cat eight years and this is the best and good service ever have. I recommend it for everyone you will get the best service and care for your vet .

I’m so happy and very impressed from the second I made the call to bring my 12 year old Chiuhuaha. He fell off his wagon knee high and got hurt on his neck. My vet was not open on weekends. So I brought him here. The tech assistant Sharee and Dr. Gil were so professional, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable. Overall the entire staff were great. I came in at 5am on a Saturday and everybody were super! They took us immediately! The clinic was clean and well prepared. The prices are reasonable for an emergency vet! Don’t hesitate to come here in case of an emergency! Thanks again for making Pedro feeling better again.

Couple days ago, I brought my puppy who was only a few days old to be seen because the mother of the puppy bit him in the head and he was bleeding from it. This was like between 1-2 am. The people there took her end, allow me to explain and then they explain what they were going to do. They were all professional, polite, respectful vets that took care of the puppy, kept it warm, stitch him up, and gave the puppy what it needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service and care was awesome.

I brought my cat in thinking his sugars were high and we needed to get them under control. That was not the case. They found cancer and I had to put my Charlie down. The staff were extremely efficient. Taking his blood and examining him. Giving me immediate feedback. As results came in, I was informed of the bad news. I have never met a more caring group of doctors, technicians and office staff. Everyone there cared about my Charlie and I. I could see and feel their compassion. They explained everything they were doing in detail. I never felt rushed. To be able to be in the emergency room with my cat, was exceptionally soothing. I saw everything and was allowed to participate in every aspect of this tragic journey. I highly recommend this Emergency Group. I received a bereavement card signed by everyone involved. That was a touching and unexpected gesture. When I called, I immediately spoke with the doctor. I picked up Charlie's ashes and again they comforted me. God bless this group of doctors and staff. Excellent Emergency Vet! I was traveling and staying in a hotel when my cat started experiencing symptoms and I happened to find VEG in a shopping center and recieved some great and honest advice from Melinda. When the symptoms didn't subside I took the cat into VEG for an emergency visit and they fixed her up with an IV and medication to get her home. They performed a simple ultrasound and produced blood work results immediately with no wait. They even clipped the cat's claws and gave her a quick clean up. They made a very difficult traveling situation a lot easier and their blood work may have uncovered a chronic problem in its critical early stages so I owe a lot to VEG. As you can expect you're paying emergency prices but very fast facility with a friendly and knowledgeable staff from my experience.

The absolute best staff, knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. Our pet received fast attention and was feeling better in minutes. I would whole heartedly recommend VEG emergency to anyone who finds themselves in that unfortunate situation with a sick pet, they are awesome!!

Good clinic with professional doctors. I highly recommend if anyone have medical issues with their pets. Sadly I have to put down my lovable cat but they make less painful and they give you a good explanation of what is going on. Many thanks and God bless you all.

This is the first time we’ve come to this vet and it definitely was a good choice. Our dog had gotten hit by a car and this was the best choice we could have made to come here. They took very good care of our dog when she needed it most. Thank you Veterinary Emergency Group!

Had to bring my Savannah cat in, since she ate something she shouldn’t have, and they were very thorough and caring. Cleo is doing great thanks to them!

Jake, our Papillion, was attacked by a rottweiler. 10 inches of stitches on both sides of his body. VEG saved his life. Thanks for the incredible care.

Extremely expensive. Took my kitten there and it was $170 just to bring her in and around $1300 for X-rays (which we did not get). I guess they were kind enough to give us ONE dose of the dewormer for free. On the receipt they emailed to me, that one dose costs around $200. Oh, and by the way, there’s 3 doses of dewormer that she should be taking. Giving us one dose would barely do anything. Now we’re at VetCo. More affordable.

Quick, precise, knowledgeable and professional ER care when you need it!

We took my puppy last night because she had a bloody stool so we took her in immediately. It did take a while to have someone come and check us in km pretty sure they were understaffed and had a really big emergency before we came in so I understand. Once we were taken care of it was only the best service I have ever gotten for my puppy. Dr. Lippo came and spoke to us give us the run down with what was going on with Molly and he was just the best you can tell he truly has the best interest for his patients. Sharee was the nurse helping us and she is the sweetest! She gave us advise on what we can do with our other pets at home so they don’t get sick. Honestly we would love to take our pets here as our regular vet but keep in mind they are an emergency vet and they can a little pricey. But if your fur baby is ever feeling a little down and they need treatment asap highly recommend this clinic. Thank you!!

Great doctors. The wait was long, but the staff was nice and accommodating and explained why the wait was long. Will go again if needed (hopefully never!)

Wow, what nice and caring people. I brought in a lost pup to have her scanned for a microchip. The staff was so nice and attentive even though they were busy with a full hospital. I was able to get the pup reunited with its owner. Being a dog owner myself, I was immediately impressed with how clean the hospital was, how friendly and compassionate the staff was, and the vet actually came out to give her a quick look over. Hopefully, I never need their services for my own pup but I’m comforted to know that a place like this exists. I had a friend that had to take her lab for emergency surgery here and she was extremely happy with the outcome and compassion she received from the staff.

Our beloved Buddy had a bad tummy ache the other nigtht and we had to make the run to VEG at 11:00 in the evening. Buddy couldn't have been treated better and Brooke and Bonnie made him feel very comforted under the circumstances. We are glad to report Buddy was feeling much better the following morning and he wants to make sure everyone knows how appreciative he is of VEG. The best ever !

We came here because our dog was panting very hard, and they got us in right away and started treating her. Our normal veterinarian misdiagnosed her originally, while Dr Laura was fast to provide an accurate diagnosis with a quick solution and next steps in case it gets worse. The entire staff is knowledgeable and very professional. I highly recommend VEG!

I took my sick puppy here for an emergency. Instead of treating the reason he was there they started doing multiple tests that I didn’t ask for & told me it would be $1000. He passed away because they didn’t treat him right away. Vets like these are money hungry. Go to your small local vet that genuinely cares for your pets.

VET Emergency Group was my back up when I cannot get to my vet. I will not be returning after this last experience. Its unfortunate, as I was a good customer and thought they were an excellent ER for my dogs. I took my dog in for an ear infection. The tech checked all the vitals and then introduced me to Dr. Storms. Dr. Storms quickly looked over the dog. I mentioned that my dog had an ear infection prior and a certain medication really helped him. Dr. Storms said she would write up the estimate and I can decide what I wanted to do. Apparently, anything else to diagnose the type of infection, will be extra, on top of the $170. At this point she only looked in his ears to confirm they were inflamed. I was shocked once I realized this initial feel will not include an accurate diagnosis, such as an x-ray. While waiting for 20 minutes inside the ER for the estimate, I am watching Dr. Storms have conversations with her co-workers in the back. Then Dr. Storms proceeds to walk by me. I ask how much longer for the estimate? Dr. Storms said she just emailed it to me. Email? I have sick dog standing on an ER table. Wouldn't a doctor go over an estimate first directly with a patient? Dr. Storms proceeds to tell me to look over the email while she helps someone in the lobby and she will be back. The price of the walk in, x-ray, & meds comes out to $415. This is astronomical to treat an ear infection! The last ear infection he had, I was in and out in 15 minutes, with an x-ray, multiple meds and all under $300. When I questioned the price and complained, Dr. Storms informed me the price did go up, but that the price is for her time and she's worth it. That was a rude response and honestly, the assistant did more than Dr. Storms. Plus, the doctor had to google the meds since she was unable to answer my questions about the meds. Oh, well, it was good while it lasted. UPDATE: Dr. Erika reached out consistently to try to make this right. She refunded my $170, seemed very sincere and assured me this will not happen again. Also she said they will work with my budget going forward. I will give VEG another try because of Dr. Erika.

When my cat Yoshi was sick on Thanksgiving this full staff of caring animal lovers set her right as rain. The people were kind, the wait was short, and the cost was reasonable.

Our dog Murphy had to go in for an emergency visit which resulted in an obstruction removal at VEG. The staff was so nice and helpful. And I was able to easily get in contact with the vet whenever I had questions, no matter what time of day or night. I highly recommend VEG. Murphy is now happily recovering at home!

This place was absolutely incredible. The compassion they showed for my baby girl and my situation brought me to tears. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone with pets.

My dog had been vomiting all day and I brought him into VEG where we were seen immediately and treated with the utmost care. The staff made me feel calm and reassured that everything was going to be ok. Dr. Lanie Yacovone & the tech Sharee were absolutely amazing and took X-rays of his abdomen where luckily nothing concerning was found. He was given fluids and anti vomiting meds and sent home with a bland diet and he’s doing great! I can’t thank VEG enough for all they do. In the unfortunate event that you need to see an emergency vet, this is the one you should choose!

Both times I've been here we were seen quickly. The staff is loving and made an effort to help us save money on the visit.
