I don't even know where to begin and I can go on forever so I'll keep it short and sweet. My dog Rocky suffers from a disease that is so difficult to watch. Thanks to the amazing, caring and professional staff (especially Dr A Webb, Dr. De Pompa and Heather) Rocky is still with us and doing incredibly well considering that there is no cure for his disease. I'm a long time pet owner and have been around the block when it comes to dealing with vets and specialists, it is never easy and I have found most animal care to be insanely priced and very cold and impersonal. Southeast Veterinary Neurology is the complete opposite. Rocky goes to PT there 3 times weekly and he looks forward to going, he knows and loves most of if not all the staff (especially the women) and they seem to love him as well. The doctors and therapists that work with Rocky are so great, do a fantastic job and take the time to communicate where we at with his treatment. I couldn't imagine going through this without Dr. Webb and especially Heather. I highly recommend SVN! They absolutely ROCK!

Our frenchie stitch needed to go in for emergency surgery due to a disk issue in his back.. He's been back home with us for about a week now and he's doing great, the level of care by the entire team, and their professionalism was amazing. I would recommend them to anybody.

Our 6 year old lab just stopped walking and they quickly got him into the office and discovered he had a disc issue. They operated the same day. Today he is on his recovery path and walking again. What set them apart was the regular calls through out surgery process and after while he was at the facility recovering. Dr. J and Dr. Senneca did a great job and their communication as great!

Dr. Michael Reese of Southeast Veterinary Neurology was referred to us by our vet who was caring for our six-year old beagle, Rachel, suffering from seizures. The first time we met Dr. Reese he sat on the floor and spent time with Rachel to get her comfortable with him. Rachel took to him because of his quiet nature and gentle manner. We truly believe that Dr. Reese extended her life because of his expertise and responsiveness to Rachel’s needs. He knew just what medications to prescribe to keep her free from seizures. Also, Dr. Reese and his staff would always call us periodically to check in on Rachel. We highly recommend Dr. Michael Reese for any neurological concerns you may have regarding your loving pet. Our primary Veterinarian recommended our dog Bentley to this exceptional group of caring, compassionate and highly skilled professionals. What started as a very dismal beginning for Bentley (limping on 3 legs and in constant pain) turned out to be a totally positive experience. Our gratitude to the entire staff, especially Dr. Reese (the surgeon), Dr. Adams (who maintained contact several times a day -even when we were out of the country), Dr. Amanda Webb-the wonderful physical therapy under her care-and her staff. Our Bentley is like a young dog running around and happy- thanks to this wonderful practice. I highly encourage and endorse anyone with a dog suffering from neurological issues to make an appointment with these excellent veterinarians.

My 8 y/o Morkiepoo had an acute paralysis of her lower legs and we were referred here by the Pet ER. They were kind , caring and explained everything in a way we understood. We took her home for her final days and she passed soon thereafter as we declined aggressive treatment. They mailed us the most kind card when I told them she passed. I would definitely recommend them.

I want to express my gratitude for the care and kindness shown for me and my little dog Joe when he was diagnosed with a spinal tumor on the MRI. While the interaction with Dr. Reese and the staff was very brief, it was handled with such compassion and care in a time of such shock and sadness for us. Then today I get a condolence card with handwritten sentiments from all the staff and Dr. Reese. Unbelievably kind and caring. Would highly recommend this facility.

The most unethical people in the vet business. They give you an apportionment 4 days out, but if your dog is sick and suffering you have to pay double the money to come in before then. They obviously have appointment opening, but yet they …

Thank goodness for this place. Everyone who works here is so kind and caring. Dr Chris Adams went way above and beyond to help us through some challenges. He was professional and thorough. And I’m grateful we followed his diagnosis and advice...if only there were more Veterninary doctors out there like him! Thank you SE VET!!! ❤️ Tabula Rasa & The Hamlin Family

I had to bring my cat “Boots” here recently who suddenly came down with partial leg paralysis. I worked with Dr. Adams who was extremely thorough and detailed on explaining potential causes and reasons for each test. While the price is always hard hit for specialty care, the level of care and concern by Dr. Adams truly made it a great experience. Boots is on his way to recovery now!

My dog Dexter use to go to this facility for 3 years before he passed away this January. Here are the pros and the cons. Pros State of the art equipment and MRI. The neurologist are knowledgeable. Your pet will have one doctor, so the doctor does eventually become familiar with your pet if your pet will need to go there on a regular basis. The pet exam rooms and lobby are clean. Cons This facility is understaffed and has a high workload and your pet will be treated as just another part of that workload. Do not expect any special treatment or extra level kindness for your pet. This place is heavily money motivated. When I paid over $3000 for my dogs MRI they treated him like a king. As soon as the MRI was done and my dog only needed medications to control his seizures all the amazing care and phone calls came to a complete stop. On their social media they show the staff being affectionate and hugging the dogs. In real life that is not the case the staff simply does not have the time for that. My personal experience with this facility in real life is that the staff comes into the room does what they need to do to your pet and they leave without even so much as a hello or a goodbye. They do not have the time to answer questions. I personally called one day to ask questions about my dogs medications and the staff literally got loud at me asking “why was I calling? ”. I was made to feel as if every phone call and question was a bother to the staff and just an addition to there workload.

When I got a phone call from my wife saying my dog fell, his nose was bleeding and couldn't walk while I was out of state I almost lost my mind. Our 4 lb chihuahua has been through a lot in his life including getting lost 3 miles from our house and traveling across a 6 lane highway and now this! We didn't know where to send him, our normal doctor was over his head and due to COVID-19 our normal emergency vet was closed, so we gave a random place a shot, something you never do when it comes to medical procedures and especially dogs. It was a spinal injury and he needed emergency surgery or he would die, best case be paralyzed from "the waist down" in human terms. We did the surgery and it was a success! But now the hard part, he could not walk and he could not pee. So we kept him in "rehab" for about 2 weeks. Every day we came to see him and did exercises with him. Pause here for a second: my chihuahua hates everyone and bites everyone except for us and our kids (mostly.) They handled him with all the care in the world and knew how to handle and deal with him without getting frustrated. Griffin slowly started to walk. It was very hard to watch seeing him not being able to pee or losing control of his bladder but signs slowly started to come back. After about a week he was walking on 4 legs, albeit a bit wobbly and starting to go #1 and 2 normally, but still needed medical help to go #1. Fast forward to week 4, Griffin was sent home with strict instructions. It was really hard seeing him struggle to walk. We are probably in week 8 now and Griffin is running and peeing on his own. We still can't let him run, but every time he is given the chance he runs and plays and will try to jump but again, not a good idea with a dog with this diagnosis. I would like to thank all of the staff here at SVN, everyone. All of the doctors and nurses that were so patient with him. Thank you so much!

In what was a very stressful and truly upsetting time for me watching my dog in such discomfort, the entire staff at SEVN could not have been more helpful, considerate, and knowledgable to help treat her. Dr. Adams examined her and immediately gave me a thorough assessment of what his initial findings were and what our next steps should be. The entire team kept me informed throughout the scans and diagnosis and provided a super detailed summary after the visit so I didn't forget anything important. The confidence of the doctors and nurses made me feel so much better and I knew without a doubt I could trust them. Thank you to the whole team, I would highly recommend your services to anyone who might need them.

My dog and I were just treated so nicely by Dr. Reese that even though the prognosis isn't good, I had to share how compassionate he was. I am going to lose my sweet girl soon, but Dr. Reese is taking every possible step to keep her comfortable and home with us as long as possible. He very much understood my refusal of costly diagnostics that wouldn't change the situation, and still treated us like my dog was his most important patient. He even went as far as suggesting that I fill her prescriptions elsewhere to save money. Thank you Dr. Reese for being so thorough, informative, patient, and kind.

My Dachshund Bella ruptured a disc and was unable to use her back legs or use the bathroom on her own. We took her to her regular vet who promptly recommended we take her asap to this facility!!! As soon as we brought her in they did the MRI and she needed surgery. The whole time she was there she was treated as if she was everyone's own dog. Spoiled and loved on and the level of care she received far exceeded my expectations! Dr. Adam's was AMAZING in communicating with us twice a day to give us detailed updates on her progress! We are forever grateful to Dr. Adam's and all the nurses and staff who treated our sweet girl with so much love and compassion!!! Simply put this whole office is FANTASTIC!!! I wish I could give them more then 5 stars!

Great place! The vets kept us updated while we waited outside (due to COVID-19), and gave us options to help our dog. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, our little one passed due to her brain tumor. The vets called a couple of days after our visit to see how she was doing. We told them about her passing and, just a week later, we had a very sweet card expressing their condolences. We were very touched, customer service here can not be matched.

My Dogs Argentino suffers from seizures and has a regular vet. But nothing compared to the expertise, love and care in this place. My baby was on epilepsy meds Kepra and Phenobarbital combo but they were not helping and controlling his seizures. When he would go into seizures they would come as clusters back to back. Its the scariest thing in the world to see your baby going through this and you are just helpless. I recently found Southeast Neurology and met with doctor Reese just for an evaluation a few months ago. We felt comfortable with him from the first visit as he is very detailed and knows exactly what he's talking about. Then we met with Dr. Potts that works closely with Dr. Reese and we absolutely fell in love with the care and attention she gave our boy. We are so lucky to have found them because we needed a place that was specialized for his condition. Moving forward a month later I had to rush my Dogo to them. My dog had 72 seizures in 24 hours back to back. It was a complete nightmare! It's called status epilepsy. We took him and they took him in right away. We were expecting the worst because of the amount of seizures he had. They hospitalized him for 2 days and my boy has made a full recovery!! Dr. Potts saved his life!!! She also gave me detailed rescue theraphy instructions to prevent from any future status epilepsy if he does have one. It hurt us to have our boy away from home but we found peace knowing we took him to the best possible place. She sent me pictures while he was hospitalized, kept me updated everyday and followed up. I cannot be more grateful for the entire staff as they are all so loving and beyond amazing with animals. I can go on and on but I wanted to share my positive experience publicly so you can possibly save your pups life as well. Thank you so much SVN! We are so grateful!
