DO NOT SEE DR. ADAMS!!! I brought my kitten in for a simple bite that could been easily fixed. Instead, Dr. Adams forced and tossed him around in order to take a closer look at him. It ended up making the wound worse and he ended up needed to be sedated to fix the problem that Dr. Adams made worse. At one point when I tried to grab my kitten he yelled at me and told me not to come near him as if that was the problem. The only problem was the way he handled my kitten. I’ve worked at a vet clinic before and Dr. Adams was unnecessarily rough and mean towards me and my cat. The techs were wonderful and compassionate, if the dr was half as compassionate as the techs that would of never of happened. Because of Dr. Adams mistreatment I was charged a ridiculous amount for something that could of been easily fixed at a different vet. Dr. Ferry and Dr. Pierce are wonderful veterinarians, don’t risk your animals wellbeing with Dr. adams.

I have never had a worse experience somewhere in my life. You walk in and the place is disqusting, the employees are rude, and they killed my dog. Go anywhere but here unless you want to say goodbye to your pets

I love Dr Martin and the whole staff! Kind, compassionate and you can tell they really love their patients!!! You can't go wrong with them!!!!!

I can’t even believe how incredible this team and dr Martin are, our first time visiting them coming from a not nice experience prior to them they 100% dove into the situation and took care of it all within 24 hours and responded with such love and care behind what they do and we truly felt welcomed and that they wanted to help and treat our babies, thank you so much to this amazing team again. Never taking our babies anywhere else.

Not only are they affordable but they actually care about how my pet is doing after getting surgery, extremely responsive, and super reliable. Could not be happier with every staff member here!!!

I have been going to this vet for about 9 months. Every vet takes their time with my dogs and really listens. A big shout out to the owner Dr. Martin. Really took his time with me and listened to what I had to say. From the staff to all the vets they are all personable and really care about my dogs. Unfortunately I have two dogs that have problems and they really care.. Definitely worth checking them out.

Well, 3 dogs died in 2 years, after medications given to them at this hospital. All we feel were over medicated. Yesterday, Cerenia was injected in our dog for throwing up. Doc said heart was good, lungs were good, overall seemed in good health, except for unsteadiness on feet. He wasn’t sure why. Gave her Cerenia for her throwing up. Went home and she was SO Lethargic. Woke up and she had died in her bed. WHY?!?!? Stay away from this hospital. Drive a little more of a distance if you have to. You basically have a 50/50 chance there.

Everyone is nice and efficient. My fur babies are well taken care of whenever we visit!

I called on a Saturday at 12:30 because there was blood in my dogs stool and they took my in by 1:30pm. They were so nice and gentle with her and comforted me. Will be bringing my other dog here next month!

From Eileen at the front, to the nurses, groomer named Nicole.... Dr. Caroline Vigo DVM, I had a wonderful experience at Colonial Gateway Animal Hospital. They took me right on time, we’re cautious about not allowing people to be close together due to covid, and Dr. Vigo spent time with me and my puppy until we were finished with all of our questions. She was a wealth of information and for that I’m grateful. I’ll be back and will be switching veterinary practices to CGAH!

DO NOT SEE DR. PETER ADAMS!! I was absolutely shocked by the unprofessionalism of Dr. Peter Adams. Not only was he rude to us ( his clients that waited over an hour past our appointment time) but he continuously talked down to his staff! The walls in the clinic are super thin and everyone can hear everything including all of Dr. Peter Adams’ disgraceful and snarky comments! Do you self a favor, for your own mental health DO NOT SEE DR. PETER ADAMS!

I use to come here and bring all my pets. But today I brought in my cat that was very hurt he’s neck is tilted. And Dr. Martin not only was rude and used a tone. When he was checking my cat he dropped my cat on the floor and was scared to even pick him up. Worst doctor that works there. Dr.Zibda needs to come back. Horrible experience.

We ultimately lost our baby but it definitely wasn't for lack of trying on the part of the doctors and staff. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. This clinic has my complete confidence.

Love all the staff and the veterinarians at this place as they have been there for us with our other puppies - especially Rusty. Now with my new puppy, Dexter, and my sister‘s new puppy Surely, the staff and veterinarians are very special people in our life. Dexter is the first pet that I’ve had that actually loves to go to go to the veterinarian.

This is a great place to bring your pet. Dr. Adams is the best vet we have experienced in a long time. Super nice and very smart. No hesitations recommending this great animal hospital.

Colonial Animal Hospital came through for me in a jam. My friend's dog was violently sick & a vet immediately saw him early on a weekday morning. They called & checked on him a day later. I brought my dog in yesterday & the staff all asked about my friend's dog. They've been nothing but perfect, & provide loving, compassionate, & affordable care. I wouldn't take my puppy anywhere else & I recommend them to everyone.

Always professional! Animal lovers work here. ! So far my last 15years I've always has quality diagnostics and treatments. Follows up post surgery too!

It is without adequate words that I write this, but I am humbled by our gracious God for giving us more time with Marley, and I am completely inadequate in finding the words that truly convey the gratitude that my heart is feeling right now to God, and to Dr Rob Martin at Colonial Animal Hospital, and his truly amazing staff Laurie, Anna, Sydney, Sarah, India, Sue, Cathy, Stacey and all of the dedicated and professional team members at this veterinary clinic. Without them my Marley would not be laying in my arms right now. Racing in with a dying puppy in my arms, cardio and pulmonary arrest, seizures and barely breathing I barged into the back room screaming and the team at Colonial took over like super heroes! I do not forget today, or ever, that this is not the first time that Colonial Animal Hospital and the phenomenal staff there have stepped up, above and beyond, and literally saved the life of my ‘babies’. I have been a client for more than Fifteen years at this practice, and I never will forget everything that they have done for my family of four legged friends. Never. Marley was indeed dying after being poisoned by a bufo toad last week. With answered Prayers, Dr Martin and his team of dedicated staff and everyone’s expertise, plus pure determination by them all to not give up on my boy, I am today blessed with more time with my Marley. Grace showed up in many forms, and I am truly and honestly, beyond grateful, endlessly blessed and forever indebted to every single staff member for all for all that they did. Thank you seems so inadequate. Dr Rob Martin if you read this, your staff are second to None! Truly AMAZING professionals, with complete dedication to our pets, and hearts of pure compassion and love. It has always been this way at your practice. You as their leader set the standard, you lead your team with a balance of guidance, instruction and direction mixed with gentle kindness, dedication and love. Dr. Martin and his staff are the most compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly vet I have been to. I have used them for years and highly recommend Colonial Vet. I wouldn't take my babies anywhere else. ❤

Best vet I've been to in the area. My cat was ill and it would have cost much more to bring her to an emergency vet, but they agreed to see me 20 mins before closing, which saved her life as she was feverish with an abscess in her leg. If it weren't for the kindness of the people at this office, I might have lost her....

I wrote this letter to them and they chose to ignore it!. Now I have to bring a civil suit against them. Don't bring your animal here if you love your dog or cat. They are all about the money and don't care for your pet! …

Today Dr. Martin restored my faith in humanity. I went to Colonial Hospital this morning very angry and disgruntled over the past services of one of his former Doctors. Not only did he listen, treat me with the utmost respect, he also showed a level of generosity that rarely exists anymore in today's society. I pray that he sees this review and understands how grateful that we are for his genuine concern to right the wrong of a former Doctor. -Dr. Martin and his staff are amazing and he is a class act! God Bless You sir and thank you for loving our pets.

Absolutely amazing!! Was in and out quickly and well taken care of!! The nurses & Doctor Martin were so helpful and very friendly!! Didnt kill my pocket either!! I highly recommend this place!!
