Very friendly Doctors and staff.

The vet dropped the ball on many things. They are also too expensive. I am going somewhere much more professional and caring. These people are in it for the money.

Everyone was caring and knowledgeable.

I moved to Bonita Springs a little over a year ago. I took my two dogs in right after I moved in for a "getting to know you visit". I had loved our previous vet where we moved from so I wanted to establish a good relationship with the new office. I will be honest it was not love at first site. Initially I was not sure that this was the office for me because I was seen by a vet that I do not think is there anymore. Let's just say his style and me just did not click. Since then my dogs have been seen by Dr. Covino and Dr. Brough for a variety of reasons and both of them are fantastic!!! They are thoughtful and kind with the dogs and me as well when going over what they think is going on or going over the treatment. The staff is also wonderful. When I come in with one of my dogs they welcome me like an old friend, they also ask me about how my others are doing. I feel like they are not only but caring for our dogs but also care about our entire family. Let's face it they are indeed caring for a good chunk of it since I have 3 dogs. Every time I bring one or more in, I ALWAYS get a follow up call to see how they are doing following the visit, even if all that was going on was that they were getting annual vaccines. I will not say they are not expensive but they do have a rewards program that really helps and well, I have discovered that in life you get what you pay for and your furry children's health is not where you should pinch pennies. I highly recommend Animal Wellness of Bonita Springs for your pets.

Staff does not discuss services and pricing prior to receiving the bill. I denied an ear cleaning and the female Doctor became outraged. She stated, “I wasn’t going to charge you but OK! Feels although I’m not a good fit for you and you should go elsewhere!” I was charged $35.26 for an ear cleaning that was not thorough, two weeks prior. In addition, she stated, “It seems that you care more about money than your dog” and “You’re going to get your dog killed”!

The whole team at Animal Wellness Center of Bonita is amazing, especially Dr. Brough. Every time we bring our cat in we receive the highest quality of care and hospitality. Dr. Brough listens to our concerns and performs thorough exams, addressing every aspect of our cat's health. The front desk team and veterinary assistants are wonderful as well.

My experience was great! Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they were all so great with my puppy, Dexter. Due to the attitude of the staff and Vet, he didn’t seem nervous at all and left in a good mood. I don’t feel like he was scared/nervous or will be scared/nervous in the future of going to the vet like most dogs are. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my visit.

The people at Animal Wellness Center of Bonita are the best. Our dog Ollie is extremely anxious, and the techs and vet were so kind, patient and great with our dog. They even called and emailed to follow up and see how he was after the visit! We are so impressed and feel so fortunate to have found such a great place! We highly recommend them to others!!!

We just moved here and had some issues with one of our dogs. They got us in within hours. Dedicated, caring staff with excellent follow-up the next few days. Highly recommend them.

Everyone at AWCOB is very friendly and helpful. They got my dog in last minute for an emergency, and we weren't even patients there yet! Needless to say we are now full time patients of doctor Covino. Plus they are able to cut my dogs nails which no other vet wanted to do without anesthesia!

What a breath of fresh air! Being new to the area, one of my biggest apprehensions with the move was leaving our vet, whom we have used for years and years. Being over 1000 miles away, I had no idea of any vets in this area. The people I have met along with all forums I looked in to recommended Animal Wellness of Bonita. My dog ended up needed to go to the hospital as we had an emergency after hours before being able to get established with Animal Wellness. I continued seeing this hospital for weeks with an uneasy feeling about them as we made over 5 trips with nothing feeling resolved. I finally said enough is enough and made an appointment to establish my dog Jake as a patient with Dr. Brough, the associate of Dr. Covino. I was more than impressed. She took my concerns seriously and put an end to the worrying of Jake’s condition. I wish there was an option to rate this animal clinic more than 5 stars. I am feeling very thankful I have found this place!

Had my first visit and the staff were very caring about my concerns about keeping the stress level down for my cat who is +FLV. My cat is psychologically better when he can see me. They took him out shortly for a weigh and temp check. They jumped when I voiced my concern that he was out of my sight too long...so I knew they understood. I have worked so hard to keep my cat stress free because of his condition...and have spent many months working with him and teaching him communication and social skills..so I'm trying to keep his negative experiences very low. I also got a great theory from Dr. Joe Covino on his eye issue..and it was explained very well.

I had an amazing experience with them. My dog was in pain and the doctor an team their had such genuine compassion for him!

My shih tzu mix Beau has been a regular visitor to Animal Wellness Center of Bonita because of allergies. He is dog-aggressive, so they have to take extra precautions. Then he dislocated his hip on a holiday weekend. Dr. Covino saw him right away, set up emergency surgery at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Fort Myers and followed through to make sure Beau was OK. Dr. Covino, Beverly at the front desk and the staff couldn't be more caring or competent. When Beau shows up at their door, they greet him by name and with smiles, even if he does snarl at their other patients!

I've been taking my cats to the Animal Wellness Center for many years now and can't praise Dr. Covino and his staff enough. From annual check-ups and vaccinations to oral surgery and emergency calls, I've never had anything but top notch …

Animal Wellness Center of Bonita Springs has been very thorough in their diagnosis and care of our cat's diabetes. Dr Covino and his Staff have been most helpful in advising us on how to give our cat daily insulin injections and how to control his blood count. I highly recommend this professional veterinary team.

The entire staff at Animal Wellness Center of Bonita was wonderful when I called for help with Isabella’s bee sting. I was asked to come right away with no appointment, no wait and received prompt compassionate care for her. Best care!!! Thank you AWCB!!!

I took my 7 month 4lb puppy for a recheck for tooth issues.. I told the Vet emphatically that I had not made any decision to put my puppy under a 45 minute surgery.. they took my puppy to the back room for what I thought was a weight check and I later find out they drew blood from him for pre op for a surgery I NEVER agreed to and the tech comes back in the room with my puppy and says that you only have a week to make the decision for the surgery because Otherwise we will have to draw the blood again.. I returned home and my puppy in day two is still listless no appetite and extremely traumatized from what they did to him in that back room this is nothing short of unethical! I probably would never have written this but the email I received from the senior vet at that clinic defending his vet and tech for what they did without my approval and making me out to be a hysterical client..I have raised horses and dogs all my life and have had many vets come and go in my life and I have NEVER had a vet do what they did without discussing what they were going to do first.. I had a happy energetic healthy puppy walking into that clinic and now I’m left with a traumatized puppy who I’m praying will recover! And to make matters worse I spoke to the Vet who did this and there was NO APOLOGY her response to me... well does that mean you don’t want us to submit the blood work to the Lab.. outrageous!!!

Dr. Greenfield was nothing but Professional and informative...he's also a "no nonsense"type of individual. I like that! I'm confident my dog is in the BEST hands with AWC!

I have taken my American eskimo to the animal wellness center two times. The assistant and the Vet nerium were so nice and explained everything to me. Highly recommend the animal wellness center of Bonite Springs.

Took my 2 kittens to this Dr. charged me 729.00 dollars for their visit!!! I only wanted rabies vaccines and he said they needed all. They are indoor cats, I told him, he did it anyway. He’s all about maximizing your bill. He gave me way too much medicine for their ears, charged me for extra medicine which was not needed. They only needed one tube he gave me 2. This Dr. is ridiculously over priced and in all the years I’ve had animals I’ve never been charged what he charges. Big ripoff.
