They have always given the most professional and compassionate care when treating my dogs . I would highly recommend them. I have been going there since they first opened in the seventies. I think it's a great idea for them to expand and include an ER for animals.

Our Airedale Terrier injured his left knee today and we were taken into the schedule within an hour. Very pleasant interaction with Dr. Kanis and Kathy and the rest of the staff. Bed rest with sedative and anti-inflammatory meds are keeping him comfortable. What a relief to know such a fine team is ready to help us.

We are on the hunt for a new vet. Every single time I have called asking the front desk to leave a message for the vet, I have NEVER been called back…even after following up MULTIPLE times. In one instance, we had to take our puppy to the ER because she had kennel cough.. I must have called them 5 times asking for one of the vets to call me back. I received excuse after excuse and NEVER got a call back. If I had to guess, they don’t call back so you are forced to bring your dog in and pay the visit fee. We also had a terrible experience taking our puppy for her last round of vaccines. For twenty minutes, they were mixing up what vaccines she needed… Though the staff is incredibly nice, take your dog somewhere else!

The Veterinarians, their assistants and their support staff have all been accommodating, caring, and informative. Dr. Lavenco has been kind and patient, and I am extremely grateful for his extra caring demeanor. The staff has always been super nice and understanding. Their facility is clean, appealing, and welcoming. Overall, they've been extraordinary! I live approximately 40 minutes from their facility and will continue to travel for their extra loving care of my little guy. I have no desire to change vets at any point. The facility is nicely designed for cleanliness & comfort. Simon was evaluated for ear concerns & given immunizations. Treatment options were suggested, passed on one aspect of treatment & got an individualized treatment plan for Simon. We discussed how to manage travel anxiety with cats. Simon’s ear concerns have resolved. ????

The medical team at Central Animal Hospital is second to none. I have been using them for the last 21 years, through 4 dogs (Moon (RIP), Gucci (RIP), Jimi (RIP) and currently Penny) and 4 cats (Bella, Oliver, Boo (RIP) and Sammy Davis Jr) and they have always been accessible, friendly, responsive to our animal companions needs. The best part of this team is that they truly care about our animals well-being, and Penny loves them right back, so if Penny likes you, you are OK in our book.

Cade and his team are an asset to the animal world. He thoroughly explained what was wrong with my dog and didn’t take me down the long expensive road most vets I have been to in the past. He was straight forward and I can’t thank him enough. His team was warm and comforting. Thanks again Bobby R.

Awesome veterinarians and staff workers

The original Boca vet is still the best. Dr. Setzer is great and team will treat your fur friend as family. Few people get on the ground with my large male Akita. But on the ground he will be playing with my boy before examining. I have not gone anywhere else for 20 years.

Everyone who works there is very nice and welcoming and make sure you feel like your pet is left in good hands. They are also great with explaining things in detail for post op care. Would definitely recommend them.

We have been patients at CAH for about a year. In that time, I have been nothing but impressed at their professionalism, caring, patience, and friendliness. They are extremely responsive, especially via email, which is a HUGE plus in my book. I can also make appointments online, which I prefer. The vets, vet techs, and office staff have been great. I can't wait to see their new building! I can see why they outgrew their smaller space.

The doctor is very good with my puppy Finnegan, the front desk is always very friendly and kind. I would recommend this vets office to anyone with animals. They are great.
