Lady at the front counter is rude. The Vet failed to see a eye problem my dog had for a few years. Gave me foul claim on my dog having food allergies he did not have. I was paying 55 dollars a month for food to them I didn't need. I know this cause I went to another vet and found out the correct stuff.

I started taking my 2 Russian Blue cats to Dr Santiago in 2016 after moving here from NYC. One of the 1st things the Vet did was put my cat on supplements for kidney disease and to continue with the subcutaneous fluids she had been on since a kitten. My cat had a HUGE improvement in just 6 weeks! The Vet and I were questioning “why” hadn’t the previous vets (2) in NY know about these supplements that are sold over the counter. Five years later and both cats are healthy and happy! Dr Santiago is the best veterinarian I’ve been to in all the years I’ve had pets. (45 yrs, 5 cats and 1 dog) I do not hesitate to tell my friends, family, neighbors, and strangers to go to Animal Kingdom!!

This is the place where you take your pet if you're on a budget and can't afford anything else - that is it. The receptionist is the rudest person you will ever encounter, entitled and will talk over you every chance she gets. Especially frustrating over COVID times when you obviously can only communicate via the telephone. The vet refused to talk to me to go over the bloodwork I got done for her in their office - their reason behind being that I did not pay for a consultation fee (which they never disclosed needed to be paid in order to get feedback on the results, had they disclosed this I would have paid it). I am a passive person, and I am dumbfounded at the lack of professionalism from both the receptionist and the veterinary who is evidently aware of her staff's behavior and condones it. The care my pet has received from the vet has been ok so I will point that out, she has not been treated poorly but I am certainly not amazed as there have been several times she has not been able to treat my pet successfully and I've had to look for second opinions. Overall simply not okay and I will not be bringing my pet back.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Dr Sheila Santiago almost killed my puppy. She gave her diarrhea medicine when she has NEVER had diarrhea and was throwing up and getting dehydrated. When I got to the hospital they told me my puppy was dying dehydrated. DONT GO THERE!

Folks here were family type business atmosphere and treated us and my dog very well. i will continue to use the place dor my pet.

Dr. Santiago is the very best. Her care for the animals is palpable, and the rest of the staff is wonderful. They have taken care of several of our dog’s for years now, and will continue to go back.

Never returned phone calls. Left me on hold for 9 minutes. Wouldn't give me prescription for sedative to take my cat on a plane without seeing my cat. Brought the cat in last week, no reason to have to bring hum in again. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism.

They wouldn't sell me pet food because I wasn't a client even though I had a prescription. You want more clients, become a friendlier business.

Waited a month for my dog to get groomed and vaccinated to only be told the day of they no longer did grooming. Matted I brought her to Petsmart and they freaked and said she had a skin disease that needed a vets opinion. I brought her to Clint Moore hospital unsure of this skin condition since she was brought too animal kingdom a few months ago and skin was not mentioned. The dr at clintmoore assured me she was fine so I was relieved but didn’t feel that Lily needed 7 new vaccines costing me around 150. I told him I had a upcoming appt with the vet at 3:30 for shots for her he looked confused and said she doesn’t need these. I just didn’t show up for her 3:30 and love the new location. The dr was sweet at animal kingdom so I’ll leave a extra star for her bed side manner.

Animal kingdom saved my dogs life! Dr.Santiago and Michael are Angels on earth. My Pomeranian (Roscoe's his name) suffered from head trauma. He had several seizures, couldn't walk,and had Nystagmus... My Fiancé took him to the closest animal hospital which was Deerfield Animal Hospital where they tried their best to save him.. Unfortunately, the next morning we were told to pick him up because there was nothing more they can do. After paying them $1,700 for an overnight stay, they referred us to a neurologist who wanted to charge us $2,500 for just the MRI.. We were beginning to lose hope and were thinking we might have to put our precious Roscoe down. My friend called me and heard the sadness in my voice. When I told her what happened she referred me to Animal kingdom. When we brought my dog in he couldn't walk, had nystagmus, he couldn't control his eyes and his head was locked in one place.. They stayed with my Roscoe took him home every night. They gave him medication, worked with him and had all the patience in the world with him.. Most importantly they tried their best to work with our budget.. A few days after they were caring for my dog I received a phone call from Michael to tell me my dog began walking and is recovering well.. When I got off the phone I couldn't stop crying. They saved my dog! I cannot thank Dr. Santiago and Michael enough. I'm blessed to have been referred here. They call and check up on Roscoe often. I have decided to stop taking my dog to banfield and bring him here from now on. Remind you they do not stay close to where I live but the drive is worth every minute.. If you're looking for a place to take your loved one I highly recommend animal kingdom where they will treat you and your pet as Family.

The staff at Animal Kingdom are the most caring and soothing. My husky mix dog got attacked by a pit bull and from the moment I walked in without an appointment, they were focused on treating my Kaya. They are professional, loving and took the utmost care of my dog. Dr. Santiago, Michael and Zyda are a dream team. Kaya needed to be sedated, shaved and stapled and she still loves everyone there! Thank you for taking care of Kaya, for the preventative and her immediate care!

Dr. Santiago and her staff, Zaida, always go above and beyond with their animal care, customer service, and pricing. The doctor and the staff offer very fair pricing and do not take advantage of their clients (this is a problem that I've encountered previously with other vets). They are very compassionate people and everything they do is always for the best of the animal. I live in Broward, but I take my pets to Dr. Santiago because it's worth the drive. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a veterinarian for their pets.
