Our Pet World Apopka, Florida

Went to get a hamster habitat today. Don't line big box stores for such things if possible and picked this smaller store. Picked out a $100+ enclosure and supplies. When we got to the counter to check out with our items we were told the paper price on the enclosure was "old" and instead of $100, it's $180! No honor of the price on the box, and no apology. We left, and ordered the same enclosure on Amazon for $120 with next day delivery. Small business are best, except when they're not. Price competitively and provide good services and you'll win.

I’ve given this store two chances of shopping there. The first time I went about a year ago & the woman there was so rude and unfriendly. And I swore I’d never go back. Well today I went back again and the same thing. Rude, unfriendly, short answers to my questions etc. how do you want people to support your small business when you act like that?! I wasn’t rude, I just asked two very simple questions. But of 3 people working in there, none of them could help & had no knowledge about the questions I was asking about a product. How do you have people working in a pet store and none of them can help Or give info on your products.

Im from New York City, and I googled tgis olace to look for a carrier for my puppy. I called the store to ask questions and the gentleman on the phone was very pleasant also helpful. My mom, and I drove to the store, and the gentleman that had answerd remembered who I was from the prior phone conversation. He directed me to the perfect carrier for my pup. When it was time to cash out he, and the manger were very compliant ro our purchase. He also trimmed my pups nails. We had a wonderful experience at this store. Very friendly, helpful, and met our needs as customers. I believe the gentleman’s name was Mark or Marcus, and I totally can’t recall the nice lady in the store as well. Overall anytime I am in Florida I will be coming back. Thank you guyssss. Btw Ashton lovesee his carrier????????

They have the Purvita cat food that is so hard for me to find at other places.

They always short you on crickets. Its not by a little but by alot. If you ask for 50 they will give you 20 or 30. Im sure they would give you one cricket if they could get away with it. Get crickets else where....

Humble store with an abundance of products to choose from.

I love this pet store! They have such a wide variety of feeder insects and mice for my reptiles.

Ordered my product on June 2, 2021. Tracking still shows its on a plane from Singapore since June 8, 2021. Emailed Our Pet World 2 times, they respond quick but keep telling me that due to Covid they are having shipping delays. Never will I purchase from this company again!

When we first found out about this place we loved it and it got worse as we went more and more after today I hope this place gets shut down they have 4 cats in the back room and u can hear them just meowing and ppl saying oh how they hate being There ... I saw a child get yelled at by one of the workers because she tryed to hold a dog if everyone and there mothers could hold the animal what was different? I hate this place and really hope the city shuts them down already they dont follow code and they are depressing every time we have gone there is always in issue doesnt matter what day what time ALWAYS AN ISSUE I remember being there and my step kid holding a puppy and they snatched it out her hand SHE WAS DOING NOTHING WRONG. . I'll drive to pet bazzar stay away from this place please

Great service, kind people, I've been visiting sparsely over the course of 3 years and a bit more recently.There have been a few renovations due to unavoidable circumstances so the place is a bit smaller than before so everything has been moved around a bit. Great nonetheless.

Great place to shop for your furry friends. They are always very polite and helpful. I love that they trim my dog's nails for free and are so patient with her. They have cute pets for sale and they have lots of great stuff for many kinds of pets. I recommend this store.

Loved this place. It could be a little more organized but other than that the staff is helpful & nice & they also have a huge selection of various foods for all animals. I will be returning.

nice place, got my cockatiel yesterday with a kit as well. and some toys for my cat, will come back soon for some more toys and decoration for the cage. but the food it came with was a only seed diet, that can cause fatty liver and more for the bird. thats the only con though, very nice decor and many pets to choose from.

Helpful owners and staff and reasonably priced items you can't get anywhere else. Support your local business instead of chain stores

The people were not very friendly. They got very snippy with my roommates and myself for trying to pet a kitten that was already sold. I wish they had been polite instead of rude about it. animals looked very malnourished, animals were very shy like they did not want to be touched or bothered and, Smaller animals were not in an appropriate sized cage.DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!
