Amazing place! My boyfriend and I adopted our goofball Leon (formerly named Charlie) from here. He’s been such a playful, silly guy! He’s well socialized with people and animals and has a blast everywhere he goes! So many people fall in love with him quickly! We are so grateful for the people that helped us find our fur baby. We met with two other dogs (both were very sweet as well) but Leon won us over. Adoption process was easy and quick. Whenever people ask where we found him, people always say wonderful thing about DHA!

The DHA is an absolutely wonderful place to find your new best friend! I've adopted two cats from there, and each time the person who assisted me was extremely helpful, and patient. They really take the time to help you find the perfect pet, and I appreciate all the hard work they put into it! I highly recommend coming here!

Well organized clean and loving

After 3 HOURS of waiting and being only the second customer there, I finally got the kitten I wanted! The employees were very unprofessional and purposely made me wait because I didn’t want the kitten the first brought out. The lady that helped told me I didn’t have any other options other then the two BLACK and grey cats they bought out. After multiple times requesting for another breed and even showing online pictures of what’s posted, she still made me believe I had no other option, telling me it’s not about the breed it’s about the personality!!! Then the next customers she brought out 3 orange and white cats I guess for the Caucasian couple. I asked if I could switch and she said I already picked the one I DIDNT EVEN WANT! I told her I didn’t mind waiting for the couple to pick and I will get the remainder. After waiting literally until closing, they ran my card for $150= kitten+cage BEFORE I even signed the paperwork for my new kitten! I would recommend because they have great pets and decent prices but EMPLOYEES GIVES VERY MUCH PREJUDICE!!! Picture of me in play room after couple picked their two!!

Usually decent customer service but I called a couple a weeks ago and the young lady was rude. I guess she was overwhelmed with multitasking.

I adopted my cat pixel from here almost two years ago before the pandemic and she is the most loving baby. I love her so much, & DHA was super cool— definitely recommend them to everyone now! They really care about the animals. :)

I called to report a caged dog on lawnmower trailer bouncing all over the place on I-95. And no matter what I tried I couldn't get a live person. Wish I just called 911 first. Based on response I changed stars.

The people there will help you anyway they possibly can.

We went to the vaccination clinic. There are restrictions in place, but it runs pretty smoothly.

They always go over and above! I brought a kitten that was left behind after Spca came out and got 2 other kittens. One had a eye injury. They are working to find its siblings. They kept it because I knew nothing about Bottle feeding!

Dropped off some sheets and blankets and a few dog toys. They were very helpfully and appreciative.

Very nice and friendly people. Can really tell they care about the animals they take care of.

It's a beautiful place and, I adore the way that they are with all the animals they have that they are trying to adopt out! They are wonderful staff wonderful people there they take care of all the animals there including the veterinarian make sure that all the animals are well and very healthy and happy! My experience there with my service dog is and always will be wonderful and amazing. I love the way the staff and the veterinarian takes care of not just the animals there but, each an individual dog and cat that comes there for vaccines and everything else that is needed for your pet.

From Natalie who first introduced us to Gerty. to Dawn who walked us thru adoption and medical processes, we cannot give enough kind accolades for DHA. President and Dr. Biden gave Major a wonderful home and Pete and I are thrilled to bring Gerty, the chihuahua mix into ours.
