The service is very bad I own 5 Pitbull's and the vet at the entire time of the appointment only repeated that I should neuter them (only my two men are not neutered) and give some for adoption .... why? IDK. They also made me go out the back door for fear that my dog would attack some other dog that was there. My dog has never shown aggression and is sociable with other humans and other pets.

I'm not really to familar with this place. This is my friends vet. Twice I've taken his cat to have claws clipped. We didn't go inside due to covid so they come out get him, take him inside, bring him back outside and collect payment. Both times the young lady we dealt with was very kind, helpful, prompt and efficient. I did however go into their main entrance to check it out and it is very nice and clean with some good looking cute dogs behind the desk. Its like a cute country home. Overall an excellent experience.

We have been with Branmar for a number of years and have always had the best of care and advice regarding our dog & cats. One particular thing we love about Branmar is that it is locally owned. You don’t get the feeling that your going to an affiliated branch of some large animal hospital group. The service is very personalized and their fees are very fair!

They've been our vet for years for cats and dog. They did a lovely job with a humane pain free end of life for our sweet rescue dog yesterday. I'm sure having to put down so many animals when you're a vet must be very draining. So I appreciate how nicely they did it.

Dr. Cumpstone was so friendly and caring with our Dog Zoe she had breast cancer that was spreading fast and we managed to get an extra 3 months with her with the treatment she recommended. Plus the prices are not crazy expensive like other Vet's and they tell you what they are going to do before just going ahead and doing it. Lastly I'd like to add that all the techs and the staff are great and very compassionate when it came time to say goodbye to our Zoe we didn't feel rushed at all and they were right there if we needed them hands down the BEST VET EVER!!! This will be our Forever Vet as long as Dr.Cumpstone is there.

I love this place! The vet technicians are very responsive and friendly. They always are very kind to our two cats, Cocoa and Zoey. The place is well-maintained and I never need to wait long for service. Dr Schreiber is as knowledgable a vet as you will ever find. She always takes time with the pets and explains things in a way that we can understand.

Unhelpful, unprofessional, and uncaring. I took my dog in for a scheduled surgery, she had been seen 5 weeks prior. About 2 hours after dropping her off I’m told they can’t perform the surgery and I need to come pick her up. They charged me for her bloodwork and xrays, and told me I need to find a surgeon. When asked if the doctor was a surgeon she said yes but felt uncomfortable performing the surgery. This was after already being seen and scheduling the surgery with this doctor, and taking off work that day to make sure I could care for my dog afterwards. No surgery was performed, my dog is still in need of treatment, and no one at the facility seemed to care about proving me with information for other surgeons in the area. Just absolutely terrible service and zero compassion.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a couple weeks now. About a month ago - I had to bring our cat Leo in to Branmar, knowing full well he was probably not going to leave with me. He had been consistently losing weight, wasn’t living a quality life, was in discomfort - and not eating. Leo was with my family and I, for 11 years since we rescued him. He was the best, most loving lap cat there ever was. He was amazing with my baby boys, just a great pet and companion. The staff was accommodating as always, and I think they could tell by my face that this cat was more than a pet, but a part of our family. They checked him out, and the doctor quickly confirmed that he indeed wasn’t doing well - most likely kidney failure. I knew this was coming - but that didn’t stop the tidal wave of emotions that came over me during the process of helping him pass on, and after. I just couldn’t stop crying. For a 6’2” - 250 lb guy, to be blubbering like a baby, some might feel uncomfortable. The support from the staff was amazing. Simple things like reaffirming the decision was the correct one - tissues provided, and let me out the back door so I didn’t have to walk by the lobby sobbing. Then - a week later, I got a sympathy card for the loss of a friend - it was from the staff at Branmar. I can’t say enough about this place - they just get it, they are great at what they do. Thanks to Branmar - it made more of a difference than you know.

The Vet Techs & Veterinarians are simply amazing. They try to take the least dramatic or minimally invasive measures and listen to you and your concerns before deciding where to go next with an issue or problem. Very compassionate and professional.

I’m a first time fur-mom, we got our Bassett mix Zoe a couple of weeks ago. I scheduled us for Saturday morning at 9:30. In arriving everything seemed great! I was optimistic, filled with a bunch of questions. It did take us an hour (50-55 minutes to be a little more accurate) to really be seen by vet Scheiber. Normally, I don’t mind the wait, especially because in the rooms around me I could hear the vet giving the others kind words and offering treats! When the vet came into our room I noticed that there wasn’t much eye contact made with me until closer to the end.. didn’t think much of it. The conversations where dry, significantly different than what I was listening to while we waited; pretty straight to the point with regards to the initial visit/exam. After she addressed my questions, she started to suggest all the medication/treatment that was needed. In explaining the flea/tick preventatives.. she made a remark that really stuck out to me. She gave me two options, topical treatment or a flea collar but looked at me and said “if you can afford it, the topical treatment is more expensive or you can get the collar which is less expensive” or something along those lines. What really stayed in my head was “if you can afford it” because suddenly I felt that I was not given the same treatment that I could hear others around me where getting. The other girls/or staff members where great. They explained the pricing without making an assumption that I couldn’t “afford” something versus the other. I walked out with a bit of disappointment and feeling of racial bias, but hey that’s my humble opinion. I did a ton of review checking before coming here, only to feel like Zoé and I didn’t quite belong in there. This may not be everyone’s experience, but as a Hispanic woman... this WAS my experience.
