I've been going for over 12 years. It was great. I think there needs to be clear and complete communication when giving instructions to owners. Vet techs have less patience for pets aggressive behavior. They were able to handle my cat so much better year's ago but I do understand it's a different world now..so hence patience is not over flowing.

I've used Banfield for years and they are great until you need them. My pup has had an ear infection for about 3 months now and I have been unable to reach my local Brandywine Banfield Hospital. I have gotten in my car and driven to them just to be told they don't have any appointment and I have to take my pup to Springfield pa for service. Well I will after contacting their corporate headquarter and being informed I have to send in a email to file a complaint; I decided I'm done with Banfield they will not get another dollar from me. Brandywine Hospital is the worst.

I was a big fan of Banfield beforehand. I had adopted a cat last year and I signed him up for the OWP plan. It all started fine. I had some doubts about the quality of the visits due to not being able to see how the doctor treated my cat. I had a vet visit every month. Basically my moneys worth. But after the 3rd month they started changing their hours. Instead of closing at 5/6 they started closing early and not taking any appointments. After my cat got neutered the next available appointment was about 2/3 months away. I am not sure if they are understaffed or there is an issue with scheduling but it makes no sense for them to be 2/3 months out. Sadly my fur baby was in an accident and passed away. I informed them and they told me I had to continue paying the monthly fee. They gave me some b/s excuse as to why I had to pay but i cannot believe how uncompassionate this company is. I feel that after the loss of my fur baby that should be enough reason to not continue the contract. I would honestly avoid comming here. There is probably somewhere better you can take your furbaby.

It's great for you to go to and get food and supplies for your baby's no bags or carry carts because people Sterling them a that's same

Banfield used to be excellent, but recently they have few Vets, to treat the fur babies. My girls need their shots in September first available appointment is December 1st. Egregious!

Horrible. They want you to drop your animal off so they sit it in a cage for hours. My dog has anxiety and heart condition.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would. The one in Wilmington DE is a nightmare. The vet totally lacks compassion. They botched a surgery on my dog and billed me over and over after she died as a result. I never got the money back. Currently having to go to an ER vet because of another screw up by them. I won’t even ever go to a Petsmart again now. Steer clear unless you find the one good vet (that doesn’t exist here). Nightmare.

3010 Brandywine Pkwy, Wilmington, DE 19803 Porter???? and I visited this office in Brandywine Town Center for the first time. Brooke was the tech and she was extremely patient and compassionate towards Porter. She kept me informed while he was in the back. Thanks Brooke. Grant it, this was our first visit BUT collectively it was more pleasant than visiting the Christiana (Newark) Banfield.

I have used Banfield in both Columbia Maryland and Independence MIssouri and loved both locations and then came here. This banfield is absolutely the worst! The front desk is both uneducated and rude. They are opinionated and slightly abusive towards the animals. (My 8lb dog was almost dropped when handing her back to me ). At the end of the visit after paying I was waiting on medication or at least a closing to the visit . I was asked why are you still standing here, you can go. Not five minutes later they call me to say they were supposed to give me the medication I’d paid for and how to use it. USELESS and RUDE .. Never again! I will be driving to Philadelphia from now on because from the looks of other reviews all the locations in DE suck.

Take my dog to Banfield. He gets great care. They also cut his nails. 1st time i was not allowed to go in the vet office with him. They said he did well.

I would recommend going to a different location. Customer service here is atrocious. Expect to wait at least 10 minutes past your appointment time. Usually 15 or 20. But if you're 5 minutes late they may decide to not take you. I held off on writing a review for a while but they have consistently delivered awful customer service.

Our lovely little rescue dog went for her first bath and nails service. Jean did an excellent job and everything went calmly. Will definitely go again and ask for Jean! Thank you.

I recommend to go to the other location. The front desk is not professional and they gave me the WRONG medicine to my dog!!! I asked for heartworm pills by phone one day before I went to the hospital, but they gave me the fleas and ticks pills next day. I realized a weeks later and drive 40mins back to the hospital. The front desk said she remembered me and she asked me if I want the fleas pill “as well” at the first time when I was here. INTERESTING! ! If you asked me “as well”, you should give me 2 types of medicine! But I only have one that I didn’t ask for. The front desk lady start to repeat what she was saying and called her manager. Thanks the manager gave me the correct medicine. I don’t really care about how much more I pay for the medicine, but at least your hospital should give me the right one! And I already called one day before, the lady who picked up my phone said she put on notes that I was coming for heartworm pills. If the manager sees what I write, please check the note on 9/7 to 9/8. Please, you are a pet hospital, I have three cats and one dog are using or used your health plan, but you have a not professional team member ruined it. Under the COVID-19, why I put myself in danger and drive 40min back to the hospital?!!!!!! Because you gave the WRONG medicine to my dog!

This location is always hit or miss regarding the receptionist, but the doctors are always great. Arrived ~10mins early of the scheduled drop-off time for my dog's surgery. As I was walking in, I passed the receptionist smoking right out front of the PetSmart. When she finally came inside, she informed me I was early and would have to wait, then she went in the back. Once she came back at my drop-off time, she was making kissy noises and talking to my dog, causing an already excited animal to get even more ridiculous. She had a horrible attitude about her during the entire check-in process, making me now feel a little concerned about leaving my dog with her. After filling out paperwork I could have had done during the time I had already been there, she took him from me in an attitude filled manner because he was jumping about due to the excitement she had built up; she made sure to make a few comments about how out of control he was. I'll be taking the time to go to Newark's location next time.

My Dog has always been taken care of at this hospital. The doctors are nice and so are the assistants and receptionist. For the last 5 years I've been going and always felt like they cared about my little Scottie. I would recommend them.
