William Tancredi illegally refuses to release my cats’ medical records. The office repeatedly hung up on my phone calls and I was threatened with a lawsuit (on what grounds?) for requesting my cats' medical records. Threatening lawsuits from his lawyer daddy against anyone who insults his fragile ego is one of his favorite pastimes. As clearly evident in his replies to negative reviews, he attempts to silence, discredit, and intimidate anyone who bravely speaks out against his misconduct and lack of professionalism. He has numerous complaints filed with the Pennsylvania State Board of Veterinary Medicine for medical malpractice. This man is truly evil, do not trust him w your pets. Concord Pike Veterinary Hospital is a much better choice and just a mile down the road.

Called first thing this morning for an appointment and was able to get my dog in by 11:00. They are the Best ????????????

To the Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital, My girlfriend and myself want to thank the employees for helping us out in such short notice. My female dog (Brooklyn) had complications during labor. I tried to help her as much as I could and was only able to help her push 5. Due to some complications only 3 survived out of that 5. She did not push any more for a few hours after the 3rd one. Most of the places denied us because they wanted money up front. We were financially not stabled because number one rent is due on the 1st, secondly Christmas just passed. So of course our pockets were empty. But thanks to Dr. Tancredi, he made a miracle happen and understood our situation. he doesn’t know how much stress and worries was relieved from our shoulders. We were running out of options, gofundMe page wasn’t much but we definitely appreciated all who supported. But most importantly I seen Dr.Tancredi care for Brooklyn like no other. I also see he loves his job and cares. He did not care about money. He understood our situation and helped us out genuinely from the heart and did what he could for brooklyn. He helped deliver 7 more puppies. 1 was stuck in the uterus and sadly only 1 out of the 7 made it. But without him none of this would’ve went the way it did and from the bottom of my heart I truly appreciate everything he and his employees have done. So saddened that the puppies didn’t make it but he knew our most concern was Brooklyn and he did an amazing job with her and of course thoroughly explained everything step by step. I definitely recommend him and definitely gets 5 stars from me! If you need a veterinarian for your pup or cat he’s the man! I’ll definitely will be visiting again if I have any issues with my pups. Again, Thank you and all for you have done.

Recently switched both my cat and dog to Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital. Happy to have found an honest and reliable vet. Dr. Tancredi is the best and truly loves what he does and it absolutely shows through his work. He also recently helped a friends pet who was in need on a holiday. Thanks for being there for our pets always!

I can not say enough good things about Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital. They are tremendous people that really care for you and your pets. Dr. Tancredi is the absolute best! He interrupted his evening when he was not even in the area and helped our little guy in an emergency without any hesitation. So happy we have a vet we can trust and who truly cares about the animals under his care.

I have an 11 year old bulldog - Tater - at around 2 years old he started developing skin issues and I would take him to different vets trying everything with no relief. Every time I left an office I would just leave with the sinking feeling that I was a terrible person because the vets were condescending and judgmental because I had a bulldog. Recently Tater starting getting pretty bad - stumbling, having accidents around the house, losing weight, etc. Everyone was telling me he was at the end of his rope. So it came time for the dreaded judgement filled vet visit where I was preparing myself to lose my baby. Dr. Tancredi could not have been kinder, more comforting, and just all around informative. He told me Tater was definitely struggling but he didn't seem to be suffering and we may have other options. We are not out of the weeds yet but after a few days with some antibiotics and pain meds I'm starting to see my old perky Tate working his way to the surface. I have tears in my eyes typing this because this dog is my baby and when Dr. Tancredi looked at me and said "I can see it in your face you're not confident it's his time" I have never felt such understanding from a vet. I am cherishing any extra time I have with Tater and I owe it all to Dr. Tancredi. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Tancredi and his staff at Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital. Never having been seen by this Vet before he within minutes of seeing my pup rushed me to the ER terribly worried about my baby’s heart. Thank goodness he did as she was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and is alive today due to his ability to get me in last min and quick reaction to get me and my pup to the ER to be stabilized. Weeks later I called to see if there was a possibility of him supplying me with meds since the pharmacy was unable to fill the order, not only was he able to give me what was needed but he remembered my pup by name after only seeing her once and just for a few mins. Today he was able to get my pup in last min at the end of the day for a quick drain of fluid in her belly knowing how uncomfortable she was. Truly amazing place and has made it the easiest decision to switch from my normal vet to this office. I highly recommend Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital for your fur babies ❤️

When their description says that they provide dedicated, mindful, and personalized care, they do just that. Mine and my dog’s experience at Old Ridge and, specifically, with Dr. Tancredi was amazing. I felt heard, and I felt so much comfort in knowing my dog’s vet was providing such personalized care. Recommend over and over for your pet’s needs!

Dr. Tancredi's compassion and sympathy for my family will not be forgotten. When the time came for us to say goodbye to our 15 year old cat, Bailey, Bill came to our home. His gentle manner with Bailey, and her heart broken humans, made a challenging time easier. I highly recommend that if you are looking for a compassionate vet for your furry family member to head to Old Ridge.

Do not trust your pets with William Tancredi. He kills dogs. He also bullies clients into silence who leave less than five star reviews by threatening legal action. Furthermore, he is prone to extreme mood swings and punches walls and screams at staff. Edited to add: My pets were definitely patients at this facility and I am not associated with any disgruntled employee. I wrote this review under my nickname rather than legal name which disproves the slander and libelous attempts to discredit my review and character. I have absolutely no record, but even if I did, my review would still be valid. It is evident that the vet is unable to handle criticism and will attack and threaten legal action if his ego is bruised.

I’ve always had the best experiences with Old Ridge Vet and Dr. Tancredi. I had a semi-emergency on New Years Eve and Dr. Tancredi called me after hours while away to help me get through the evening. They are always extremely accommodating with making appointments and the only “issue” I’ve ever had (which admittedly I’m still not sure if it was my fault or theirs) they handled amazingly even knowing that the fault may have no been theirs. You can tell they are always trying to give the best experience possible and have the best prices I have found. I highly highly recommend this vet!

Dr. Tancredi has been wonderful with our covid pup Miss Cleo. A year ago she was hit by a car and so we have spent a lot of time at ORV. Cleo loves Dr. Tancredi so much that she runs into the hospital to go see him (it might be the chicken treats). His staff is warm and welcoming and Dr. Tancredi takes the time to explain what how and why he is prescribing certain treatments.

Extremely poor and inattentive treatment got our dog who is in need of possible end of life care. Don’t expect a timely reply for a request for help if your pet needs to be seem urgently. Our dog with a collapsing trachea had been doing fine, so we requested a consult with the practice 4 days ago and didn’t get a reply. Now we’re considered ‘difficult’ for following up to get some help. Fully willing to pay for the work, btw. Don’t waste your time and money on this practice! Edit - the response from Dr. Tancredi does not reflect what occurred accurately. Now add dishonesty to the feedback I’m providing to prospective clients. This is an inexperienced vet with a lack of organization to provide appropriate and timely care.

The Vet is sort of nuts and doesn't run his practice professionally. Employees fear his mood swings too.

Very professional, friendly, place to take your pet to. Highly recommend.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Tancredi and his staff. While traveling from Florida to Massachusetts our 14 year old Lab Cooper was in distress, we happened to be by Chadds Ford, PA and randomly selected Old Ridge Veterinary. Dr Tancredi climbed in the back seat of our car with his Tech and did an ultrasound and said it was dire, he would need surgery or we would have to euthanize. In the parking lot, far away from our Vet, we handed Cooper over to Dr. Tancredi for surgery. Honestly I had a calm feeling and was 100% at ease. Fast forward, 5 hours later, Cooper had made it through surgery and a 10 pound tumor had been removed from his stomach. After a check in call with us later that night, he said if all went well we could pick him up the next day and get back on the road. We currently have made it to our destination and he is recovering. Do not expect him to run a marathon but thanks to Dr Tancredi, we have gained a little more time with our fur baby. My only regret about this whole experience is that there is no way Dr. Tancredi can be Coopers permanent vet now because we live so far away. I hope that this review convinces you that you absolutely have to take your Pets here.

During the pandemic, I couldn’t get in touch with my regular vet for my dog’s allergy medicine. They were able to check everything out and get her some much needed relief. Thank you Dr. Tancredi & staff!
