I called yesterday to try and get clarification about why I was charged for an emergency visit when they told me they did not do emergency visits over the phone. The receptionist said a manager would call me. I waited all day and no one did. I called again and xheni (former owner who is now the manager) with an attitude told me to bring my dog somewhere else and that I disgusted her and she would call me whenever she wanted and hung up on me. She is a disgusting human being, uncaring and could care less about animals. Whoever the new owner is please try and get in contact with me.

I have been a client for 11 years but today was the last straw. After Dr. Nashe began semi retirement a few years ago, the quality of care went downhill. Now there is a revolving door of doctors, some good, others not at all…all with different health assessment opinions about the same dog. The staff is caring but bumbling and uniformed, sometimes rude and condescending to their customers - yes I’m talking to you Zheni. Reordering medication procedure was inefficiently handled by the person on the phone and then I received the wrong medication for my dog that I reordered. When I told her that I was disappointed with the practices and will likely not be back, her answer was “Good”. A valued client I am not after all these years and annual visits that are no less than $750 after testing and medications. Kinda sad because in my dogs senior years, I have to find him someone to bring him through his last days when it should have been the group who we used since he was a puppy. UPDATE: I took the dog to a “get acquainted” appointment to his new vet two weeks after this incident. After reviewing his chart, they suggested doing a blood test…his liver enzymes doubled in 3 months since his last visit with liver medication! Further testing and different medications were ordered. We have another blood test follow up to see the results. ???? If I didn’t have the experience with rude Zheni, no one would have known about it until it be became a big issue that might not have been treatable.

This is by far one of the best veterinarian hospitals that I have been to. The staff is nothing but compassionate and caring. They truly care for your animal and for you as a client. I have watched them show true compassion, especially when there are tough calls to make. The manager is one of the nicest people I have ever met. When I had questions about my invoice she took the time to walk me through it. Their prices are fair as well, I know that if I had to go to an emergency hospital it would have been very taxing on my bank account. Ignore all negative comments. Anyone who has been a client for more that 3 years knows how amazing Dr. Nashe was and how amazing his wife, Mrs. Nashe is!

The manager Jenny, treated my family and dog with the utmost disrespect! She was rude and money hungry with complete disregard for our beloved dog. We brought him there as all of a sudden he began limping/was in pain and we could not figure out why. We spent $500+ later and had multiple overcharged visits with bogus diagnoses and no resolutions! We later ended up bringing him to another animal hospital for a more thorough work up and actual answers/treatments! This place should be shut down or new management hired! Do not depend on this place to care for your beloved animal! Complete waste of time and money! If I could give 0 stars I would! Do not go here!

They definitely care about the animals. There was a big situation we had about billing and the elderly vet who runs the operation gave me some sort of god-complex speech. Hey, yeah, I appreciate your help. I live in Waterbury so I'm coming here for a reason, but you guys very clearly stated I wouldn't have to pay any more for removing the sutures and now you're charging me. so what's going on here?

Dr. Tim Budris is the best veterinarian we have encountered. Caring, compassionate, understanding, and most importantly, open to listening and communicating with owners. Staff is wonderful and they have done a great job helping us look after 3 of our dogs. we have finally found a place we can trust to care for our dogs. would recommend to anyone in the area.

I had been taking my dog here since 2014 when I got him. I came home from work to him limping very badly. I immediately called and got the receptionist. It was 40 minutes until closing and I had a 30 minute drive to get to them. I was told to take him to an emergency vet as they couldn't accommodate me. Needless to say I won't be taking my dog to them anymore. There was no sympathy for the dog or for the situation I was in. Was also told they don't have a vet in on Wednesday so they wouldn't be able to see him today either. I have seen less and less of the older man who was the owner/main vet and more of a new vet who doesn't seem to care as much.

They were great I had an emergency and being new to the area no other vet would see my dog. I was near tears when they had no problem seeing her and I was able to come right over

I had a terrible experience with Sherman Hill Animal Hospital. They were only interested making the bill as high as possible. A medicine my dog has been on for years, at 8 cents per tablet...16 cents / day, they filled at 91 cents/day. I insisted on taking the drug back when even Pet Meds was 28 cents/day. Forget about Advantix.... there they tricked me and applied the first dose so I couldn't return that when I learned it was more than 30.00 higher than Pet Meds.I had arranged for my dogs records to be faxed to them far in advance of her appointment.... we are new to town. They hadn't made copies and if I hadn't brought a set, they would have been totally at a loss. This is just a business...not a caring professional place to bring your dog. I only trust that they know how to get the most money possible. If I could give no stars, I would. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the exam room and they butchered an attempt to trim my dogs nails. I can't imagine how bad they would be with something life threatening.

Best vet I have ever been to. I have been going to Dr Nashe for 16+ yrs. I have also recommended many of my friends and family to the practice and they are all very pleased. The staff is wonderful also.
