The first visit shaved all the hair off my Airedale. The explanation was he was matted NOT TRUE! He looks like a different breed. NEVER AGAIN NEVER AGAIN. IF they didn’t have the time or staff you should have refused the business.

The staff at Day Hill Kennels are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! You can tell the are trained, experienced and love animals! I am so happy that we found this kennel! I would definitely give them 10 stars if I could!!

I have been using Day Hill Kennels for over 10 years now and I must say they always have great service! The ownership and staff are very accommodating, friendly, and professional. When I drop off Bo and Raider which has been often of late due to work; I feel assured that they will be well taken care off. My dog always can't wait to get out of the car when we pull up. I was picking him up Sunday from a stay over and got there a little early. I got to see the staff arrive. They seem to be a real good crew. The best part was when someone came also early for a drop off. Her dog ran over to the staff and they all knew his name. He was enthusiastically greeted and seemed delighted. It was a great testament to the care that exists there.

I went to check information for my 2 dogs for 2 weeks stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful with all our questions. They took over 15 min of their time to go over all information required for my dogs to stay at the facilities. Very clean place and beautiful . It is a upscale Hotel for dogs. With prices of a budget Hotel.

The place looks actually nice and where they keep the dogs to but I left instructions precisely that were very easy to have my dog's eyes washed twice a day especially one of her eye that's really bad than the other one and to put medicine in it that was it when I went to pick her up her eyes were covered in green eye booger and it was crusted over like if they didn't do anything for like 2 or 3 days it's something that you have to keep up doing per vet instructions

Awesome facility. Boarded our cat here twice in 2 years due to vacation .They took great care of him. They also groom your pets on your request.

If you can't take your dog with you, this is the next best thing.

We have been taking our dogs to Day Hill Kennels for 15+ years. They always were happy and healthy when we picked them up. They are always happy to go there when we drop them off. We highly recommend them and always tell our friends when they ask.

Moving from NH to CT was traumatic but finding a caring place for our two dogs was also very stressful. Cherie, our Bichon, is usually a gentle soul..but, being a female, she does have her stubborn moments! She is often referred to as a "stuffed animal "! Our Maltese, Harley , is another story. He is a rescue puppy who suffered horrible abuse the first six months of his life and gets EXTREMELY agitated with strangers. Although a Love Bug at home, he can become vicious with the unexpected and unfamiliar people. His name, Harley, couldn't be more appropriate...a tough little guy. I made a call to Day Hill Kennel and a Play Day was suggested to see how the dogs would do...mainly Harley! The day went well...dogs were cautious at first but settled in nicely! With a family situation, an overnight was required , which actually was extended! SUCCESS...! The dogs had their little room...ate, slept, played and were happy. It has been a year since then, and the mere mention of Day Hill Kennel, they become wildly excited! They go there with a bag packed ...a gift from Day Hill...blankets, toys, food and medicine ...never even looking back as we often , sadly , say good bye to them. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE WE GAVE EVER FOUND...and we have had dogs for over 40 years. Frosting on the cake is having Heather there as their groomer. I've been using Day Hill Kennels for over 20 years for boarding when needed, and for Day Care for my dogs' socialization. This family-run business is incredible - responsible, caring, and totally focused on the animals in their care. My last dog, who passed last winter, and my new labradoodle, both get excited when they see me driving them up to the kennel and absolutely love the people - obviously having a great time in the play sessions. Highly recommended!!!

We bring our dog, Julie there whenever we need to go out of town. She loves it. They are kind and enjoy seeing here whenever she is there.

I have been using their servics for two dogs and love them! They are courteous an very professional. They treat their guests like thier own. I can't say enough for them and recommend them to anyone who is considering using their services.

We have been using Day Hil since January 2018, and will continue to do so. I am a "crazy dog mom" to a spoiled, needy, dog who I panic about leaving, but trust Day Hil 100% with my "baby". When she needed medicine, they were great about giving it to her, and are great about feeding her the food we bring from home to as to avoid any issues. They've asked about her allergies, and any other health issues they would need to be concerned with. They always answer the phone when I call to check up on her, and are always honest about how she's doing. As I previously stated, as long as we're in this area, we will continue to board at Day Hill!

Beautiful facility, friendly caring staff. Play group option is great when you’re boarding your dog. My dog came home exhausted but happy. Slept for a whole day when he came home. Would recommend they give your pup a bath before getting picked up as they are super stinky.

My dog has always been well taken care of when I leave her here. She comes back tired but happy. Even though she is usually shy, she seems happy with the staff, and she is always glad to play with the other dogs during playtime.

Day Hill Kennels knows animals! We tried various venues before choosing Day Hill for our 6 month old Cavapoo' s first shelter experience. It was our first vacation away from our new puppy and leaving him was anxiety provoking for the humans in our family. We felt so at ease leaving our puppy in the care of Day Hill - a family owned business. We also called everyday to check in and we never felt that we were bothering them. Highly recommended! My puppy is well taken care of and loves going to daycare here. It's not the traditional all day play together with dogs daycare, so she doesn't get as tired but sometimes that's what she needs. It's a little on the pricy side but the facility is large and very clean so serms worth it. It is the right place for dogs that want to play as well as want to rest some of the time. I like the very large runs they get when they are not in the group.

We have been taking our St Bernard Duke to Day Hill Kennels for a couple of years and are very happy with his care when we travel. Being a big dog we worry about the space he will have but they have a larger room for him which works well. We can bring his own bed and bowl to help make him feel more at home.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Each time my dog has been there we have had a terrific experience.

we have a difficult dog and Day Hill has taken him in and he loves spending time with all the folks there
