Hailee is always so happy to go to Crate Escape to play with her pup friends and after a long day of playing she is all tuckered out and the perfect Angel ????

My Ragnar LOVES the girls at The Crate Escape!!! He jumps and yells and runs to get in!! We LOVe the people at The Crate Escape because they care!! We wouldnt go anywhere else. my husky has been going to crate escape since she was like 6 months old and she is now over a year old. This was the best decision to help her keep moving and let out that husky energy. They are so good with her and she has never come out upset once!! I do not have any intentions of going elsewhere for daycare/boarding or training. All has been the best experience a 1st time dog mom could want.

We been take our dog, Koda to Crate Escape for over a year now and she loves it, always so excited to go.

Emma LOVES the Crate Escape and so do I. She goes 3 days a week and gets super excited on daycare days. The staff is so friendly and positive. They clearly care about Emma, and she loves them too. And what could be better than playing with her fur buddies all day? It's the best, most safe way for her to get the interaction stimulation she needs. I don't know what I'd do without Crate Escape!

My beagle loves it there! She is always so excited to arrive & play with her friends :) she comes home tired & happy. It’s such good socialization for her. The staff is great!! Always kind, compassionate & helpful.

I originally didn’t leave a review but I see your response. I initially only left a star rating. Drax did not attend for several months, he went 4 times. Your staff actually let us know he was doing great, extremely sweet, and around 3:00 he gets a little antsy which is the time I try to pick him up. Typical behavior for a shepherd, especially a sable. I was checking up on him on the cameras so I know he was playing nicely and doing well. Your staff let me know each week he was great and doing better when it came to pickup anxiety. When I asked the staff member about this she laughed at me, and said I was “misled” yet she was the one who told me he was doing great. I also brought up to the staff member that I was aware a dog was injured, I only knew because they said my dog was around it and handled it perfectly when they checked up on each dog. Your staff member had zero idea about the incident and laughed at me again. Regardless, your staff is untruthful which actually hurts the business you built, your customers, and the dogs. I raved about this place to my friends who were all interested, but once I told them the situation they decided to go elsewhere.

Well organized, great user interface on web to book daycare. Wonderful staff. The web portal also keeps all your dog's vaccinations updated so you are always reminded when they are upcoming or expired.

Our dog, Mabel, LOVES The Crate Escape! She is so excited as soon as she knows it's a daycare day. We love that we can check in on the webcams and watch her play. She is so happy to be there and we know that she is in such good hands all day! We are so happy we found The Crate Escape!

Sarah at the front desk was super informative, and pleasant to speak with. She was very helpful from the minute I placed the appointment over the phone, to when I dropped my dog off. Her haircut looks amazing! Her little bow was a perfect addition! Highly recommend, they took care of my girl, and she looks amazing. 10/10 would recommend to a friend or family member. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of work that was put into the grooming process. A+++ we will be back! Thank you everyone!

Tried to contact them for an overnight. Both dogs have been to the vet 4 times in 60 days and have all the vaccines and they are both in perfect health. I have a fecal for one dog (only need 1 because they are litter mates - ask your vet and they will tell y ou) and I have a blood test for the other one which is all negative. Apparently, this is not enough to show the animals are both in perfect health. However, the REAL problem is that the person on the phone was very rude and discourteous and unprofessional. If they treat me that way on the phone I don't want to even guess how badly they might treat my pets. Horrible customer service.

Words cannot describe my appreciation for The Crate Escape in Wallingford, CT!!! Having both experienced Covid since the beginning of the month, we have missed our boy Luke as we just couldn’t give him the best care so our doggie day care, Crate Escape stepped up keeping him as an overnight camper. But it gets better- Since my being hospitalized, owner Chris set up a surprise FaceTime call for me with Luke which quite literally brought a lot of emotion and happy tears. Seeing our boys reaction hearing my voice has made my week, month, and year. Today I awoke to a recorded video of my handsome boy. Crate Escape in Wallingford- the kindness, compassion, love, and your true commitment to pet families that you have shown us is second to none. You have brought happiness to difficult times. Avery came to our house today for a training session with our dog who is obsessed with barking at the tv. They arrived on time and they definitely taught us how to break this funny, but annoying, habit. Thank you!

I had previously given this place a 5 star review and typically never give a company a poor score. But, they will blindside you in the middle of a work day to tell you your non-aggressive dog with no issues in the last year of attending, is no longer appropriate for their daycare. They never communicated any issues, and we were always vigilant about asking how his day went. Our dog loved attending, and we loved sending him there to socialize. I honestly hate writing this review. Overall, communication poor.

My standard poodle gets the best grooming at Crate Escape!

I have a wild boxer puppy. Chris and her team are incredible with him. His few day school classes hes taken so far have helped him tremendously!! They're so patient with him and I couldn't be happier with Avery and Marissa and they work they do with him. Oliver couldn't be happier after a day of play and learning. Thanks to everyone for all you do for us! The team in daycare is great too! So happy to have found this place.

Great place to meet other dog lovers and to allow your fur ball to do the same

Sarah was incredibly helpful today when we brought our 5-year-old German shepherd to get her first wash! (We rescued her a few months ago.) Thank you! We may have to find an excuse to drive all the way to Wallingord (we live 25 minutes away) just to bring our dog to get washed by us. Highly recommend this place.

The Crate Escape provides an amazing experience! I have taken Kinzie (a golden retriever) consistently since she was 8 months old. The socialization and training they provide has been wonderful. I attribute Kinzie’s good behavior and comfort level around all other dogs to the Crate Escape experience. The owner Chris and all her staff really understand and love the dogs as if they were their own. We can watch the webcam throughout the day and see the love and attention all the dogs receive. We frequently take advantage of the training services and the grooming services which are top notch. There is no better daycare experience in my opinion!!

Like dogs just don't have one

Hilton had a blast on his first day at the Crate Escape! The staff is great and they take extra care to make sure that all dogs are healthy, fit to play with others, and up to date on vaccines. He can’t wait to go back to play!

Our Baxter returned sparkling clean and tired after his stay while we enjoyed our vacation. Fair and reasonable pricing, excellent care, wonderful communication, and one happy puggle. Very happy repeat customer.
