I went got a snake for Christmas, the snake is awesome, it’s actually my first pet….after having it little more than a week a noticed he like to just sit in the water for HOURS it lowkey freaked me out so I did a lot of research and found out he had mites (I actually saw them walking around on him). Called literally 8 different animals vets to find out the best way to help him which didn’t help at all because they where all booked and busy so they couldn’t see the snake. I decided to go back to petco to grab some stuff to help him and I went back to the tank where I picked him out from and noticed there where TONS of mutates in the tank. I said something to one of the store reps and he looked ti see if they had anything to help but they had nothing and that was it. They had no sprays or things to help the mites, no discounts on new bedding and disinfectants, waste of time going back, I wished I was able to get a photo of the mites in their tanks but they cleaned it out right right after I said something

The gentleman was very polite. He answered my question and got me what I needed in no time.

The store is close and convenient. Unfortunately the workers don't seem to have answers for common questions. They have signs posted about events however the workers cannot answer questions or know details. Items are often out of stock especially for cat food and treats. Contacted via email regarding misinformation about an event with no help. Ended up going to Berlin for event

Blonde hair girl working close tonight decided she couldn’t sell me goldfish because they need to live in ponds. But they have dead fish floating everywhere in their 10 gal tanks.

Tina the pet grooming manager is the best. I will never go any other place to groom my dogs

I’d give negative stars if possible, Awful grooming service. We waited 45 days to get an appt which isn’t a problem. This One woman in the dept probably ruins for all others and unfortunately forced me into this review. I brought my 1 yr old lhasapoo in for a cut and the minute I walked in this one woman was giving me a dirty look “like why am I bring her more work”. I can tell right away she didn’t want to take him. She started with every excuse his shots weren’t up to date, then she was proven wrong by the vet call. Then she comes around said he was too Matted that I had to bring to a vet to have trimmed. I could tell the other employees were kind of embarrassed about her treatment of the situation. Rather then argue I did just bring him to the vet, for them to tell us that petco is ridiculous and we’re absolutely being lazy and for us to bring him To a real groomer. My apologies to other groomers there that might be professional but that was my experience with her.

Very helpful was able to answer a few questions about my pets.

Staff was very friendly. Got a lot of information from the young lady working in the aquarium section. Cashier was very friendly and welcoming.

Finding someone to help is a challenge. I know getting workers is difficult but.....

They usually have what I'm looking for, but the staff is not as knowledgeable as I personally would like.

I brought my dog to get a bath. The staff is always so great there. They do a great job with a dog that hates to take a bath!

Nobody's home, ...I've tried to call and get an appointment to have my dog groomed but no one answers the phone. I try calling to talk to a customer service representative in the store but no one answers the phone.

Person (manager?) assisted me with several questions I had. He drove my carriage to my car and loaded it. (I had four heavy boxes of cat litter and some food.) VERY pleasant and excellent with customers. He deserves a promotion to teach all Petco employees how to be a PROFESSIONAL and nice to deal with!

Very good place to take your pet for Vet care, also good quality dog food I always buy from this location. Very broad selection for any pet necessity.

The staff here are very helpful when looking for product in the back or even showing you where everything is. My home petco is set up differently, so these guys were very patient with all my questions! They have a GREAT fish section and a huge dog section here that I spent way too much time looking around in! The cashiers are also very personable and chat about the products you're buying!

I called this place about bird seed and they just hung up on my like it was a prank call the customer service is awful dont buy from here
