Very happy with Holiday Pet Lodge. While I don't enjoy going anywhere without my dog, I know she is in good hands here. Great pricing & happy staff. My dog always leaves happy.

DO NOT USE THIS KENNEL!!!! Very unprofessional, poor business ethics, VERY rude, shady and do not know how to handle animals properly! Especially Pit Bulls. Something very traumatizing happened to her and they have no response for it! ????

Amazing kennel!!! I wouldn’t bring my dogs anywhere else. Everyone there is wonderful. They all treat our dogs like they’re their own. Very professional, clean kennel and made us feel at ease leaving our pups. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone.

Please do not use this kennel. I used them happily for several years until a very traumatic incident when my 2 dogs stayed with them this past week. When my mother picked the dogs up, my younger dog Maggie had a large amount of open wounds all over the side and front of her face. There was no apology offered, no vet call, and they dismissively stated that my mother dog Delilah had attacked her in the kennel. My two dogs spend every day together, sleep snuggled up, and have NEVER had an aggressive incident. When I asked for camera footage (which every reputable kennel should have), they said they did not have any. Even if an incident did occur between our dogs (which I doubt), WHY were we never called? WHY was a vet not contacted to treat Maggie's injuries? Our vet was appalled that no medical care was taken and that they did not call us to inform us about the incident. Now we have a large vet bill for a visit and antibiotics and NO RESPONSE from Holiday Pet Lodge regarding the incident and reimbursing us for the large bill.

I honestly do not know what I would do without Holiday pet lodge, being a single pet mom of my now 8&1/2 year old pit bull , everyone there have become not only family , but a place of refuge for snoop and myself , when I was first referred to holiday pet lodge , they were so unconditionally accepting , when no one else would take him, with a beyond hectic schedule Marty the owner , his brother, Carl and their outstanding manager sandy , whom is a natural dog whisper , are more than accommodating , to our needs , especially my baby , they are trustworthy , compassionate, kind and well experienced , unfortunately my dog had never been socialized from his previous owner , due to their expertise , they have been my life support , my second family , especially when we felt so outcast by society because of his breed . I genuinely feel so grateful to have them & their wonderful staff in my life knowing that my dog has a safe haven to go too , their acceptance brings me and my baby so much peace and happiness ????. In the beginning I felt very nervous & guilty leaving him , so I would call almost daily , to check in , but as Time went on and I saw how happy , excited and well cared for he was , I no longer felt the need to check in , I go away now with with an absolute peace of mind every single time , they love him, feed him walk him , bathe him , he stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter when he stays there, and they always have his best interest at heart , no matter how many toys, pillows, medicine and treats I leave for him ????. It has been 4-5 years now and I could not ask for a better & safer environment for my beloved pitty . I love my dog to death, but I can honestly say that I know that there is no other place for him In Ct that I would trust , that will love him as I do and I strongly feel , that godforbid, I would rather my pit leave this world happy & safe before ever losing this wonderful beautiful lodge with the greatest people I could ask for . Love it! I have 2 dogs (one really friendly, and the other one aggressive). They take care my dogs for 15 days without any problem, they were able to walk my dogs (including the aggressive one). Excellent service for all type of dogs. I will recommend this place, my dogs look happy and received a free bath before I pick them up, because they stayed there for more than 7 days.

Great place to board your pet, staff, price, location are all great. Our big boy seems to enjoy it! Lol they offer extra services as well. Hours are convenient except they are closed on holidays

Sandy is the kindest woman ever! She is amazing with my pits. Locally owned, excellent services and highly recommended. I always feel good knowing my dogs are safe when I need to leave! Just know they don't take CC!

Had two standard Schnauzers and they loved the place and the people.

We are very impressed with Holiday Pet Lodge, and how happy and clean our Coco girl was when we picked her up after her 4 day stay. We will definitely be repeat customers.

The staff is extremely caring and my dog absolutely LOVES them. This is the first and only kennel I have every brought my pup to, and would recommend to anyone.

WONDERFUL! Sandy is awesome ...she has a great attitude about the animals as well as understanding my fears about leaving him...My English bulldog, Mr. Winston is not thrilled being penned up, he in fact charges @ my vet & his staff, but with Sandy, she listened to the fact that he is a one person dog, he is not great all the time with others and she eased my mind by taking control and making me hand her the leash and leave her in charge, by doing that Winston went with her without even looking back, I was able to go away on vacation & relax knowing she was not afraid of him and she also has a bull dog and was willing to handle his needs with no fear. I have boarded him twice before and he was left in the pen without human contact due to my fears and his unpredictable behaviors, now we both have a new best friend--Sandy...thank you sooo much!! I will never board with anyone else, the place is clean & in a beautiful wooded surrounding with flowers and trees everywhere & the owners live on the property...totally satisfied and very reasonable pricing.

I have a pampered mutt who loves it here. The kennels are good sized with two options depending on the size and nature of the dog. Dogs are walked and bathed when requested. they provide food but will feed your pet special foods you provide to them. They can give medications when needed and will take the dog to the vet you request they use if needed. I highly recommend this facility.
