Good for when on a budget but the stitching was terrible. My pup had a a gap where her skin was open which ended up causing problems

Both of my cats were neutered here they treat them with love! Each worker I spoke to was very nice and they will accommodate any changes if necessary.

Got my kitten (Tito) neutered yesterday and when my father in law picked him up and dropped him off at my house, I noticed his right back paw was bleeding. I checked his claws and saw one of his nails had been clipped back WAY too far. My fiancé and I googled what to do to stop the bleeding (because it was still actively bleeding around 5pm- Tito was dropped off at 8am and was told by the employee that Tito was the first arrival of the day) and we found a method that worked to stop the bleeding. Shortly after, my fiancé called Nutmeg and left a voicemail asking why Tito’s nail was bleeding. They called back my fiancé today and said that “it happens” because they try to cut their nails back as much as possible and sometimes they “knick” the nail bed. This was more than a knick. It was horrifying. The worst part is: they were nonchalant about the whole thing. They were not apologetic at all nor did they suggest we speak to the vet who performed the surgery. God only knows how long Tito bled for. There was a lot of blood on the pee pad in his crate too. I should’ve taken a picture of that too but I threw it out. Overall, it was just really heartbreaking for me to see Tito limping post-op… he was clearly in pain from his nail being butchered. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Update: so the owners commented on my newest post from last night saying some blood post surgery is normal. But just below they said they didn’t see any blood. So what’s the story? Yes I pulled out the pee of that had blood on it to show EVIDENCE and now they’re making it out to seem the blood was from the surgery. It was not. It was from them butchering Tito’s nail. Get your story straight.

This place was great, the people are very friendly and knowledgeable. I took my dog in early in the morning and they called me as soon as she was ready. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Don't forget to donate as well as they are a not for profit organization and the animals are well cared for. ????

The staff is amazing group of people,they all made us feel so special Sargent was greeted by one of the best the staff got on the ground to meet him, I felt so much better. I was so nervous bring him because of some reviews I read but the fact is it was totally different from the reviews.

Brought both my cats to get spayed and neutered . The staff was so nice and was good about awnsering any questions I had. Very easy drop off and pick up as well!

Scheduled an appointment for my dog to get spayed at their place. Payed for the spay. Unfortunately we thought the place was in Stafford not Stratford. Stratford is an hour and a half drive for us. Right after booking the appointment we called to cancel the appointment and get a refund back. It took almost a week to hear back from them. We got refunded most of our money. They kept about $50 for us canceling it. I would not recommend this place.
