Norwichtown Pet Resort and Spa Norwich, Connecticut

When my wife and I went out of town a couple of weeks ago we had a last-minute change in plans and needed to find someone to take care of our puppy before we flew out the following day. Norwichtown pet resort and spa were fantastic throughout the whole process. They were able to get her in for the next day and our puppy absolutely loved it. They made the process easy, painless and were very supportive when we called and checked on her multiple times throughout the week as it was our first time leaving her alone. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Thank you Norwichtown pet resort and spa for taking great care of star flight!

Good location friendly staff good pricing trail system for running dogs

This is by far the best pet resort and spa! My dog has never had so much fun with lots of playtime and super friendly camp counselors. I received a daily report card with a picture of my dog (smiling in every picture) letting me know how he was doing. He played so much and had such a blast, he needed multiple naps! The staff is amazing, kind, friendly, and super responsible. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing he was in the best hands.

I called and was told to hang on a moment. No problem. Ten seconds later they hung up. These things happen. I called back and said same thing I quickly added I got cut off and on hold again. Oookay! I will hold probably just busy and after 2 minutes on hold they hung up. ???? I really wanted to go local so I give them a third try and I got an answering machine. Left a message about having two dogs but think I don't want to use them because that's just rude. Maybe I dodged a bullet. Anywho not okay with being hing up on and ignored.

I am a new(ish) dog owner and have never had to leave my one year old girl for more than a couple days, until recently, so I was nervous to do so. I have had her going to doggie daycare at Norwichtown Pet Resort about two to three times a week for the past year so when I booked a recent vacation out to Utah for ten days I chose to kennel her at the same place she was use to. While I was away I received multiple updates and pictures of her which helped to ease my worry over her well being while we were away. After the ten days when I went to pick her up I was also worried that she would come back a few pounds thinner or under the weather due to stress and/or not eating, plus you hear so many horror stories about this happening. However, I was beyond relieved when I did, she looked GREAT!! She was healthy, happy, and clean! It was so apparent that she was very well cared for in our absence. I can not say enough good things about this place! Thank you for taking such good care of my Layla. It is comforting to know that when the times come that I have to leave to go somewhere that I cant bring her along that I can rely on you guys to take excellent care of her!

Seriously I can not put into words the fantastic experience I have had with this place. The staff are amazing always willing to answer your questions. I don’t typically leave reviews but if I could leave 10 stars I would. My crazy pup Loki was always happy to go here. If you doggo is having issues they have amazing training options. From group to private lessons to work on your dogs needs. Loki is going to miss you all thanks for treating him like your own.

I have brought my dogs here for years but the last time (February) I brought my German shepherd and he got kennel cough.

Great place for our dog to get some exercise and play with other dogs. We bring our guy to daycare 3 times a week and the staff are fantastic with him. Have not boarded him there yet, but heard great things from our friends who have.

They were absolutely fabulous. First time we've ever used them for our pup. Will use them again in the future.

The best home away from home for our family dogs when we travel

I have two Weim’s who are very attached to me. Both girls were scared to go to daycare but the patience they took with the girls was amazing. Now they love going to daycare. The grooming they got was great even though they were “squirmy” which is a polite way to say they don’t like nail trims. The staff is like family and were get with the senior dogs we had before these two girls. I cannot day enough great things about the staff.

My dogs Ruthie and Gracie have come here for years. The staff is very friendly. My dogs are always excited to go there and come home happy and healthy. I feel they have taken great care of my dogs for years. I highly recommend!!

Rebecca is amazing. Not only does she do an amazing job on Darla's nails, but she is patient and empathetic with my skittish girl. She goes above and beyond to make it a positive experience for both us and Darla.

The facilities are clean and I love the cameras. I loved watching my dog play with bubbles. Most of the staff are amazing! I had a woman who handled an issue impeccably. She was the reason we went back on our following planned day. We don't need a daycare regularly, and I love that there are not requirements to come regularly. I will certainly be dropping her off again as needed!

One of the only places that take pitbull mixed dogs in the area. Our Roxy comes home soooo tired and it's great. Everyone is so welcoming and keepa us up to date on how our dog is throughout the day. Both boarding and day camp is well run and well worth the price.

Sent my anxious dog for his first night here, after having a bad experience at a different kennel I was nervous. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME. He was clean, and perfectly happy when we picked him up. They told me all about how he behaved, walked, ate. They payed close detail to him and I am happy to now have a place to bring him when I need to stay away from home, thank you!

We had our two Miniature Schnauzers groomed for the first time at Norwichtown Pet Resort and Spa. The groomer ( Rebecca) did an extraordinary job! Everyone we came in contact with demonstrated professionalism and kindness. The facility was clean and organized. Our Schnauzers returned relaxed and calm. We are returning back in six weeks. We’ve brought our dog(s) to the kennel for years and have always had an excellent experience. Piper has been going for day camp since she was very young and it’s a positive experience for her. If she could speak english, she’d ask me to bring her there every day!
