The veterinarian is very kind caring and helpful there database does not seem to be updated correctly i get reminders of things that have been done already.

I made an appointment for my kitty. A first time appointment requires a deposit of 50 dollars. Sadly, two weeks before the appointment we found out my kitty was sick, and we had to let her go. I was happy to see that montowese gladly returned the deposit for the appointment that ultimately was not needed. I appreciate their understanding in this sad situation. They are great, and I highly recommend them. All my previous pets growing up went there, and I just recently had to let go of my dog too. They were kind, and gentle, and really lovely to us. They are good people there.

Having recently moved to North Haven, we were so lucky to find such an exceptional vet right around the corner from us. I haven't experienced this at previous vets, but I sure have here which I love - the staff greets every person and pet with so much enthusiasm. They're really outstanding

I have an elderly dog who needed a vet who would give her the attention she needs. I am so glad we chose to see Dr.Mendillo. She took the time to help me get her on a detailed plan and was so patient with me and all of my questions. Highly recommend this place. Staff are very kind and helpful. So thankful to a friend who recommended this practice to me.

We've been bringing our cat and dog here for years. They treat them like family and we love all the techs there. Taylor is great!

Made an appointment and showed up ON TIME (15 minutes prior) and they took 3 people ahead of us and skipped us when we had a sick animal with us and the people ahead of us had perfectly healthy animals. One of them actually showed up late and they still took them over us and was going to make us wait over 45 minutes!! Terribly unprofessional. Don’t take your animal here if they’re sick

Came in 20 minutes early and was told I would be next and that there was only 1 person ahead of me. That made sense because it would take roughly that amount of time to take care of someone that was there before me so I waited with no issues. I told them my cat was sick overnight (hard to breathe and limping) as well and when my appointment time came they told me they will take care of 3 more people before me and said it was because they arrived after their appointment time. I witnessed healthy animals who’s owners were late go in before my sick cat during MY appointment time. When I expressed the concern to the receptionist her response was “well I mean it’s only been 5 minutes passed your appointment time”. Yes but my cat is SICK (hard to breathe and limping) and I was early as well. She did not give any solution nor reassurance. She only gave excuses that they were backed up. Yes backed up is what happens when you attend people who are late over people who are more than on time. I’ve been to many vet clinics due to the fact that I was active duty military and never been to one that had this mentality nor unprofessionalism. I waited 10 more minutes for a total of 15 after my set appointment and since I was still not taken care of I left and took my cat elsewhere that had more common sense. I suggest taking your money and your animals elsewhere. Animals are not just pets, they are family. If you care about yours, try going elsewhere if you can. It would be terrible for other people to go through the same thing.

I would like to thank Dr. Mendillo and staff for their professionalism and concern. I called yesterday morning to make an appointment for my very sick 12-year-old cat, Chiquito. Though I was told Dr. Mendillo was booked all day, she still agreed to see Chiquito last minute. She spent almost an hour with my pet, getting blood and urine samples and performing a series of other tests. When I got a call back from Dr. Mendillo, she insisted that Chiquito be taken to the hospital immediately. Initially, I was reluctant to take her right away and was even willing to wait for the blood test results to come back the following day, but Dr. Mendillo talked me into rushing Chiquito to the ER. Even without the blood test results back, Dr. Mendillo provided an accurate diagnosis of my cat's condition--she suspected my cat had anemia and liver problems. Keep in mind that anemia in cats is cause of great concern as it could very well indicate the presence of feline leukemia virus. Hours later, the vet at the animal hospital confirmed Dr. Mendillo's fears--my cat had, in fact, contracted feline leukemia virus and was suffering from a myriad of other health conditions. Last night, at around 10:30 p.m., my cat was euthanized. Even with aggressive treatment, there was no guarantee her health was going to improve, and by that point she was withering rapidly, breathing laboriously and refusing to eat. Euthanizing a pet is a heartbreaking decision, and while the pain of their absence is keenly felt and at times even barely endured, it is, ultimately, an act of mercy. I just couldn't subject my companion of 12 years to a prolonged and heart-wrenching death. Thank you, Dr. Mendillo, for seeing Chiquito on what was to be her last day of life. I wish I'd taken her to you sooner, and maybe her suffering could've been avoided altogether. I recommend Dr. Mendillo. Your pet is in good hands. Prices are also reasonably affordable.

I had a terrible first experience here and will not be returning with any of my pets. Waited in exam room for 45 minutes. Asked at desk if someone was coming. Vet was down the hall and said I have a sick cat in here. If someone told us there’d be a delay of course I would understand. She was rude and when she finally came in about 20 minutes later she did not even introduce herself and would not look at me when I tried to tell her why I brought my pet in. She charged outrageous fees for 10 pills. I actually needed refills on my pets prescription and she tried to force me to use the pharmacy that she owns. I had to call daily because she ignored my pharmacy. Such a rude woman. Never again and I told my friend not to go there.

Prices have doubled since the new vet took over and can’t make an appointment to save my life. Got a new vet they Saw me 2 days after calling and they told me the prices were insane from this vet when I brought them their invoice.

I've been associated with this practice for many years even before the owner change, and I've witnessed a continued trend of professionalism and accurate knowledge when it comes to my furry children. When my fat cat needed a healthier life choice I was assisted in a diet that worked and like magic within a month my baby was on his way to finally fitting into that 2 piece. Thank you Doc. Mendillo, Tayor, Kelsey, Sam, Kris, and Liz you'll always get a gold star from me!

Dr. Mendillo & the team at Montowese Veterinary Clinic are absolutely wonderful, friendly, & go above & beyond for their patients. Odin (my & my fiancé’s high energy & affectionate German Shepherd) adores everyone there & is always excited to greet his friends when he has an appointment. Odin recently had a mishap which requires him to get bandages changed on his leg/paw every few days & they are ALWAYS so accommodating. It means so much that they always make Odin feel like family rather than just another patient. Our experiences with them have only ever been extremely positive & I’m so grateful to have them as our vet.

We were going to Montowese since we got our dog, he was only 11 weeks old and now he would have been almost 13, They are way to busy to even call you back when your dog is sick. They totally dropped the ball, if I get another dog, I will not use them. Very disappointed in them

Our family has just loved being welcomed into this practice! From day 1 we have felt comfortable and at ease with our pets being in their care. They treated us like family and our pets like they were their own. They are always so kind to our pets and answer all of our questions, no matter how silly they may be. Dr. Mendillo and her staff are knowledgeable, helpful, and very friendly, which is hard to come by these days. We are so happy to have found Montowese Vet and we will never look anywhere else!

Dr Mendillo and Staff are the most compassionate people I ever met! They ALWAYS go out of their way to make sure you well taken care of...never rush you and answer any and all questions you have! I am beyond grateful to find such a caring and loving facility! Poppy and I consider Montowese Vet Clinic our second home! ❤️ Thank you for all you do!

The staff would answer my calls and are very nice when answering questions. if im not mistaken Taylor answered me very nice worker and answers questions with reliable answer.

Good Vet, always very nice (if they answer the phone) but they don't return messages and are extremely difficult to get an appointment with unless you are able to wait a couple months. A couple months is fine if you just need an annual checkup but when my animals have an issue I need to get in within a reasonable amount of time. I don't like being told "just take them to the animal hospital". The animal hospital is for a real emergency not to go get my cats skin looked at as she has an infection. Same answer when my dog was not feeling well "sorry we can't see him until 45 days from now, go to the Vet Hospital". I'm beginning to think they get kickbacks from the animal hospital or something. The COVID excuse is not going to work anymore with me either. Probably time to find a different Vet.

The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable about pet care and my cat who never liked the vet didn't cry when i left her with them and she can out purring.

I came in since my dog decided to eat all the Easter candy I just bought ????‍♂️ And immediately the staff Introduced themselves and asked what the situation was at hand. The vet then proceeded to take action and my dog is healthy again, since I arrived just in time and they took action in a timely manner. Also, the price for the visit was more than fair and looking forward to come back for all of my pets checkups. Thank you again!!

Hands down the best veterinary care you will find. Dr. Mendillo is simply amazing and cares for each pet as if they were her own. Her knowledge and thoroughness that she provides at each visit is second to none. The prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly, always greeting with a smile and welcome. As an owner of 4 dogs and 2 cats she tends to each of their needs with a custom plan and makes sure that they receive the best possible care. I had a GSD who did not care for vet visits and she made them seem like a piece of cake for him. I literally recommended Dr. Mendillo to all of my clients and I always receive updates on how impressed they were with her and all of their services. I promise you won’t regret bringing your furry family members here.
