So glad I found this office. Dr. Kaufman has been absolutely incredible with visits, questions, emergencies. The whole staff there is just amazing.

My mom passed away the day before I had to bring my dog for her visit and week later I get a invoice for a missed visit fee so I called and spoke with Debbie who is always very rude to me. She explained the owner will have look over it and make that decision. Days later the Owner email me and asked that I no longer use their services and to find another vet. I have the email to prove it how insensitive can you be. But yet I see people praise them they are definitely not who they say they are they pick and choose who they want to be nice to.

It seems like the staff is praised by most of these reviews except a few so I wish I knew why some are treated so unkindly. I rarely write reviews but after the first unprofessional encounter, I gave the staff the benefit of the doubt and came back for a second visit to find myself in the same situation. Some people can have a bad day, which I understand. For the first visit, one of the staff members explained the vaccines required and the list is extensive for a first puppy visit. As the Vet walked in, I couldn't remember the names of all of them and as I accidentally asked what a particular one was, the assisting staff member gave an obvious grunt and sigh of annoyance. The rest of the visit was cold and unkind in the same manner. I did not feel welcome and walked out feeling very guilted. The staff is unkind and the bill was expensive. More so than what I have seen elsewhere. I will not be returning to this office even if it means I drive out further somewhere else. Seems like there are other great options in the area, which makes me hopeful that I can find an office I can trust.

Love this vet such nice people

i helped out a stranger who’s dog had gotten loose. someone careless hit the dog and ran so i drove this stranger and his dog to veterinary associates of westville & the staff was just plain rude. it took him begging for them to take the dog who was clearly VERY hurt. the man was clearly in distress and scared and they showed no compassion whatsoever when they came out to tell him his dog did not make it and passed away.

Great honest vet. Care deeply for my animals.

Very happy with our first visit.

We have been going to this vet for 2 years and absolutely love them! Dr. Kaufman is extremely knowledgeable and nice. Best vet we have been to. For Covid procedures, you drop your pet off at the front door and a tech comes to pick them up. They call to give you updates and keep you informed every step of the way. There is a $60 fee for each visit but it's well worth it! If your lucky, your pet could end up on their instagram feed :)

Time and time again this group of veterinary clinicians have impressed me. they take care of both my cat and my dog and really do a thorough job with both I've had issues on and off with both animals throughout the years and they make me feel comfortable safe and really educate me on their needs. You can also tell that they truly love their job and they love the animals they come in contact with. I cannot recommend them more. I fully trust them to take care of my furry friends.

Best place to take for furry babies.

I truly cannot express how much I adore the veterinarians and office staff at Veterinary Associates of Westville. They provide caring, respectful, and top-quality veterinary care. They answer every question I have as silly or tedious as it might be and are always sensitive to the humans needs as well. I have even moved out of town but will continue to bring my animals here as long as we are in driving distance! They're the only ones I trust for excellent veterinary care.

Robert has been great to work with. Very easy to get in contact, and was very responsive to our needs.

Says 24 hours... they might have 1 night staff to care for the pets but not open 24 hours. Glad to know I drove my cat who had an emergency here for no reason other than waste time and stress the cat out even more.

One of the best vet experiences my dog and I have had. From staying within my budget to being amazing to my dog. I almost had no wait and that means alot when you have a sick dog and a 6 year old with you. The staff was very nice and understanding. I will be changing all my vet needs over to them. Thank you!

The staff at Westville VA are phenomenal, in particular our vet Dr Kaufman. She has helped me navigate being a new dog parent, and kept both my dog and I calm! She is knowledgeable, practical patient, and goes above and beyond. I can't say enough good things.

Compassionate and knowledgeable, I trust them with all my four legged friends (2 cats, 2 dogs). Associated with a nearby animal hospital and aways on call there for any emergencies. A little pricey, but all good vet care seems to be now.
