My husband and I went to this Petco to look for some new fish, and when I say there were a TON of dead fish in the tanks I mean a TON. Probably 20+ dead fish I saw while I was there. A dead fish in almost every tank and at least half the bettas in cups were dead as well. It left me nauseous. And it's not like they were short staffed. Two of the aquatic specific employees were there just standing around and talking instead of, I don't know, TAKING CARE OF THE FISH. It was honestly disgusting and what I consider to be animal abuse. Definitely will not be coming back.

I purchase sometimes in the store or pay online and pickup in store. The inventory at the Milford, Waterbury and Hamden stores is never right. Today I placed an order online to be delivered today and other items to be delivered in 2 days and of course the most important item showed in stock. 1 hour later here's your credit we didn't have what you need such a surprise. I can order it online to be delivered in 2 days but have to spend over $35 again. It's a complete joke. I have a lot of pets and may just have to rely on from now on.

Booked an appointment online for Laurie and it was changed to Zachary without any notification. When I arrived for my 9AM appointment the staff seemed preoccupied and were rude. In no way were they helpful and based on this I did not and would not trust them with my dog. I walked out without getting my dog groomed. First impressions are everything.

The person who took care of me spent time to answer a number of questions about my cat's diet and alternate food choices for digestion sensitivity. Her recommendations were spot-on and my cat already after only 3 meals appears to be doing better! Kudos to Petco for having someone so knowledgeable on their staff. I wish I knew her name to give her proper accolades!

Staff is not always knowledgeable or helpful Asked a Staff member about a product Had no idea,what it was Suggested maybe last purchased at another Petco which it wasnt And walked away Thankful this store carries The Dog yogurt Hamden doesnt though

I was looking for a specific product called pill pockets for my very sick dog. I looked through what felt like every isle in the store but could not find them. I asked Darcy if she could help me. She was extremely knowledgeable about the product and took me directly to its location in the store. Thank you Darcy for being so extremely helpful, friendly, and professional!!

I was able to find what I needed for my Granddaughters' Hamster.If I could not find it I would ask a Petco worker and they knew right when it was.

Every time I get fishes from here they die within 3 days or less… mind you guys I’ve had fishes for two years from another store and they’re doing great; and they have the nerve to say oh maybe it’s your water! No it’s your fish and your water because they always have dead fishes in the tank live ones. Smfh

This location is the best. They allow my baby Cane Corso come in and always treat us like family calling Indigo by name. They are always fully staffed and more specifically Ms. Lynn is the best ????

First, very sparse personnel coverage in the aisles, store in general. I was shopping for a after surgery cone, and I can not believe the entire store does not have a measuring tape. For a business that relies on so many different size animals, it is shocking you do not offer measuring tapes. Even Marshals, TJ Maxx, etc. have measuring tapes. Come on, guys.

Extraordinary staff with an amazing collection of pets that will just tug at your heartstrings. Janet Golden was particularly knowledgeable, affable, and as helpful as we could have wished. She was downright impeccable! Ms. Golden’s the reason why my girlfriend and I have our first pet—thank you for a lovely experience and lifelong commitment that we made with the fullest aplomb!
