Friendly Doctor and nice staff. Very good and caring with animals.

Complete waste of an entire morning, I waited an hour. I had my appointment scheduled at 9:30 am, they called to make sure I was going to show up, just to have me wait in an exam room. All I needed done was a rabies shot, couldn’t have taken more then 15 min. Sadly I had to leave without getting my dog her shot. Shame

I made an appointment to have my dogs nails trimmed and the dog came out bleeding ???? that was the end result to a horrible experience. It started with me making the appointment and them telling me it was fine to have the dog come in. Once I arrived after waiting 15 minutes outside in the rain, a woman came out who was quite rude and said that she couldn’t do the nail trimming because they’ve never seen the dog before. Even though they asked me when I made the appointment if my dog has been there before and I told them no. As I drove away I decided to call them back and speak to the person who said I could bring the dog in. He was apologetic and kind and told me to come back and they’ll do it. Once I returned with my dog, the same woman came out and instead of apologizing for the confusion she just looked at me and made a snide remark. They took the dog in in about 15 minutes later the dog came out. As I drove off I noticed there was blood on my pants. They nipped my dogs paw and made no mention of that. I brought the dog back to the kennel for them to assist his wound. They took my $20 with no apology. I run my own company and I would never have handled it the way they did. I made a phone call telling them that I would write a review unless they wanted to make it right. Although I was told that I would get a phone call back…no one called ! That is why I am writing this review. They have a total disregard for customer service ! THERE ARE FAR BETTER PLACES TO BRING YOUR PETS !

DO NOT GO HERE. THE STAFF IS INCOMPETENT. I recommended them and they totally screwed up my friends appointment with his cat. He was expecting to have his cat get surgery but when he showed up they did not even realize it was a whole month "for the cats to get shots" not surgery and that to get surgery it would have to be another month!!!!!!!! The lady who trims dogs nails is a cry baby as well.

I absolutely trust Dr. Powell with the care of my dog. She is excellent and very knowledgeable and always has answered all my questions about my puppy's care. Today (4/16) I took my dog in to the office for what I thought was just for a possible ear infection and to check on a leg injury. I was hesitant about going back to this vet as my last dog that was seen here was under the care of a dr that is no longer with the office. And that dr had a tendency to talk down to me. At any rate I decided to go back because my dog needed a new vet. I was happy to discover that the previous dr isn't there, and the dr that seen my dog (Dr. Powell) was very thorough and very informative as to what was really going on with my beloved dog. I also informed the vet tech of what my budget was for the visit and they were very accommodating towards my needs as well as providing my dog the care she deserves. I highly recommend this vet if you are looking for a caring and knowledgeable veterinarian. Ask for Dr. Powell, she is a fantastic doctor. The staff there is amazing. And they have genuine concern for the animals that are in their care.

I drive an hour to see Dr. Powell. She is absolutely the best Dr. that I have ever taken my dogs to. I have owned and trained working dogs for 30 years and I have to say I trust no one else with my dogs. I have been taking my dogs here for the last 3 years mainly for OFA and Pennhip X-rays, and reproductive services. Dr. Powell is known for her expertise in these fields from people all over New England. I have permanently switched all of my dogs over to her for their regular visits as well and I couldn't be more happy. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. If you are looking for the best, then you have found it in Dr. Powell and Animal Medical Clinic.

I've been client of this practice for a very long time. My childhood dog went here, and 3 dogs as an adult have been patients here. Our two current dogs are seniors and one got sick with severe constipation and ear mites and I was told they were too busy and to go to the emergency room. The emergency room for ear mites and constipation??? When I pushed back on why they are recommending that I was told it was only Dr. Tracy there and they didn't have time and was booked. If you aren't blocking out time on the calendar for "routine emergencies" that is a problem. I'll spend money for a true emergency at an ER vet, but for ear mites and constipation that doesn't make sense. I called 3 other vets and discussed what their policy would be during normal business hours with these symptoms and they all said they would have an appointment for us if not that same day, at the very latest, 24 hours, which is completely acceptable to us. I'm upset and saddened this practice has come to this, but they lost us as clients as well as our daughter who has a puppy.

Poor management, Incompetence, neglectful, argumentive,dishonest behavior

We love Animal Medical Clinic and have always brought all our pets here. I was an anxious cat mom over the curbside process but they made it so easy and painless. The whole staff is absolutely delightful.

Non responsive to messages, prices are double than other vets, help in front don’t know what they are doing. Previous office manager, Lauren unprofessional. Dr very rude it’s too bad she sounds like she knows what she’s doing but her attitude gets in the way, if she drop the prices and have a more reliable staff the practice be a lot busier. We are paying you to treat our animal (s). No one ever there, wait time usually an hour before being seen. Always have a negative comment to make.

Animal Medical Center could not have made my experience any better . Dr Powell answered all of my questions with very clear direction for after care for my dog. The entire staff was very pleasant and help.Thank you very much for making me and my dog so comfortable during our visit.

Excellent services from emergencies, routine check ups, advice, diagnosis and surgeries. Clients for many years and wouldn't even consider going elsewhere. Courteous staff, Knowledgeable technicians and top notch vets!

Everyone at the clinic is professional and very prompt. Didn't have to wait long at all and was in and out with my dog :). Dr. Powell is very thorough. Definitely recommend!
