Will not be bringing any of our animals there. We needed help with our dog and they turned us away. They get no stars

Dr. Henderson is great with dogs. My one year old chocolate lab loves going to the vet. Everyone is very friendly, though like every vet these days, they are very busy.

Staff was understanding and made my visit pleasant during the exam of my two cats The dr spoke on terms that I could understand. Overall very family oriented and caring to my furbabies.

Dr.Henderson is knowledgeable and compassionate. All my pets over the years have been treated well. The entire team is professional. I recommend this office.

Always try their best to work with you on appointments. I am now releieved to be able to get my babies (that are brother and sisters) fixed so i dont have to worry about complications. Considering they were booking out into september originally. I only had to explain my circumstances and they were able to accomodate. This will be the vet office i will use for all animals because of the exceptional accomodation. Also, they gave me a good tip on using a onsie so the other cat doesnt get at it. Needed antibiotics. I really, really like Doctor Henderson and her staff. With COVID, they are extremely backed up and busy (like every other vet in the area), but they still make time for my questions and frequent trips to pick up prescriptions. I feel like it is fairly priced which is a huge thing considering I was going to VCA for years before this. Dr. Henderson also listens to me and my input which I’ve never had a primary vet do before. One of my dogs is extremely difficult to work with, he wears a muzzle and does not like being touched by strangers. Dr Henderson and her staff handle him so well and I’m even able to bring him there to get his nails trimmed which is huge. The staff here is amazing and very compassionate. I recommend them to everyone who asks.

Never a bad experience have been going here for years.

We've been taking our dogs to Holyoke Animal Hospital for 16 years. This animal clinic has the best veterinary care and value than any other place we've been in western Mass. Even though we moved and now live 45 minutes from the clinic, we continue to go there because we've not found any other vet that is as good as discerning what is wrong with an animal and what is needed. We've tried, because it's not convenient to drive so far, but we've found the vet is not good at assessing animal health issues and they order expensive diagnostics. While Dr. Henderson's demeanor comes off as aloof, she truly cares about the animals and she knows her stuff! She does her best to communicate, although maybe she's better with the animals than the humans, but that's okay. She provides top notch veterinary care while not nailing her patients with diagnostics that are unnecessary. The only two areas I would say there is room for improvement is one, the office staff is sometimes great and sometimes poor. The communication and organization seems to go up some years, and down others. The second is that by not having a second vet in the practice clients are out of luck when she takes a much deserved vacation. All in all, I highly recommend this veterinarian.

I was very disappointed with this vet. We had an emergency with our 4 week old puppy who needed to be seen immediately. We called beforehand a few minutes after they opened and couldn’t get through to anyone. Then we get into their parking lot (again, we got there early on to avoid waiting) and called them again with no answer still. We finally have someone come out just to tell us that there’s no vet today that the vet is on vacation. That is fine but what is not fine is people driving all the way there just to be told that. Why don’t you have that set up online to tell people, on your phone answering machine or even a sign on the door? Very unprofessional to me.

We've been taking our Baby Gurl here for the past 5 years. They've always found time to get us in. Being long haul truck drivers this has been invaluable to us. The staff is absolutely amazing. We're customers for life

My French bulldog at the moment was having a heat stroke we we’re all scared about the situation. I call this place and tell the receptionist my situation and what’s going on with my pup and to pls guide me to an emergency hospital for animals.. She immediately puts me on hold after I tell her and no one ever responded back. At the moment all I needed was help finding an animal hospital. She couldn’t provide that to me when I asked her. Unfortunately my pup passed away. But maybe a phone number or a address would have helped a lot at the moment. They may have good doctors but the receptionist are TRASH!!

The worst place to bring a dog, I brought my dog yesterday for a physical,thinking that they were going to take at least 15 to 20 minutes to check my dog but they didn't even took 2 minutes,they gave him a shot I didn't ask them to give to him and then they charged me $95,never again I

Place to go to get animal help. Cv19 well handled one animal and owner at a time.

The Dr and staff is amazing here. They have excellent covid protocols. You have to wait because of COVID-19, but it's worth it to get excellent care. Totally recommend!

We have been with Holyoke Animal Hospital for many, many years. We are always very happy with the care our pets receive from Doctor Henderson and her staff. Dr. Henderson is an incredibly kind and compassionate person who has always looked after ours pet's best interest. We are VERY satisfied customers!!

I have been taking my dog here for almost 11 years and my husband switched when we met . Linda is pretty direct and to the point and actually seems to care about animals.

I first too my new kitten there & all while I lived in that area! Dr. Linda was wonderful! Great place! Great with your pets! People who work there really care about your pets, esp. Dr. Linda! I wish I could remember her last name! Great value as well!

Good place for your pet

I came here with my mom and uncle. My mom had to bring her dog here to get 2 shots. One was for rabies and the other for vanguard and a physical exam office visit. The staff were nice to my mom and her dog. They have handicap parking and handicap accessible entrance. The parking lot is small. Its an animal clinic.

I have gone to this animal hospital for many years and I must say that even though I try other vets, I tend to go back to this one. Its a hole in the wall, not an impressive facility but Dr Henderson is truthful on expected outcome on diagnosises, proceeds to care for the animal in its best interest, and will tell you when its time to let go and have them put down if they are suffering. Its so hard to make that decision but they are there to help. During these covid times, it is almost impossible to get into the vet. I had to go to Deerfield emergency vet many times. I would call many vets where my cats have been seen but Holyoke Animal Hospital is one of the only ones that squeeze me in when they can. They will do their best to get you in asap and the place can be a little chaotic but I don't mind it or the wait in my car because I appreciate their efforts in attending my animals and it beats going to Deerfield if its urgent! The prices there are also very reasonable.

My 12 year old cat fell ill and the Vet was very knowledgeable with the diagnosis and straight forward on the expected outcome which I really appreciated. She's not overly emotional which can be perceived as not caring but she does what is best for pets and treated me and my baby with compassion and great care. It's a little disorganized but the care is great and the prices are good too

Our cat loves Dr. Henderson!! Our Freya never cries or attempts to run from her, she is comfortable and at ease with her. This vet truly cares about your pet and her staff is just as wonderful. I couldnt say enough good things about this vet!!

It was a pleasure going into Holyoke Animal Hospital. The staff was kind and went above and beyond to make my dog feel safe. The vet was amazing! It was such a pleasure to meet a veterinarian who was interested in the animal and not how much money they were getting paid for their services. She was thorough, wanted to know what my concerns about my dog were and she said as much is my dog was a sweetheart she needed to lose weight which I knew. She told me how much ladybug should weigh. She was an amazing vet I’m glad she was recommended to me and I highly recommend her without reservation to everyone. She is very knowledgeable and caring.
