Bandit my 6 year old staffy terrier absolutely loves this place ..he even got a report card after his first day and it is a no nonsense situation ..after there first trial run . You don't have to be bothered w appts for doggy play /day care you just bring your pup In..usually bandit is excited to c me and he actually didn't want to come home when I went to get him ..they are honest about any situations that may be goin on and they are there for your dogs well being ..I highly recommend taking your baby here

Definitely recommend Candlewick for both grooming and daycare. I have gone to Candlewick Kennels mainly for grooming since I got my first Goldendoodle 9 years ago. Her groomer Jenna, who unfortunately moved a couple of years ago, always did a fantastic job. When I got a second Goldendoodle they both occasionally attended daycare, and always had a great experience. I now have only one dog and Sarah is an absolute miracle worker as a groomer. I am so thankful I got her as my goldendoodle’s groomer before she stopped taking new clients. Her skill is extraordinary as well as her knowledge, compassion and clear passion for what she does. The only difficulty is it is definitely hard to get appointments since she only works 2 days and books many months out. I have used two other groomers there since Jenna left, and out of all the years I have gone to Candlewick…only one bad grooming experience. The staff refunded the groom and handled it professionally in my opinion. They recently renovated their driveway (finally) and the grounds and property are clean and well maintained as well. Although their prices have gone up significantly, if you’re lucky to get an amazing groomer like Sarah….it’s worth it.

Beautiful grounds, clean, secure. Staff is absolutely fantastic. My dogs LOVE Candlewick Kennels. We love being able to leave them in a place where they are safe and happy & we don't have to worry about them. Highly recommend for day care and boarding.

We have been boarding our cat here for several years. The crew is always courteous and helpful. We like the concept of kitty condos which is one of the reasons we choose Candlewick. The crew is always friendly and responsive.

Hands down the best experience I have had with doggy day care for my Frenchie, Posey. The staff is fantastic and very attentive and Posey looks forward to going to camp every day. Cannot recommend enough!

My dog loves to go to day care at Candlewick. She always comes home tired and sleeps very well. She also enjoys boarding and I appreciate the extra activities and that she is just not bored while we are out of town.

My daughter dropped her golden retriever off for a Saturday of fun and wrestling. This place is huge. If you want your dog to work and play out their energy, this is the place. The employees take great care and watch over the dogs. They even have special areas where the dogs can be walked on a trail, for an extra fee.

Meeko and Honey had the Best 10 day vacation. Very well taken cared of and they had a blast in daycare. The staff was amazing, and both my boys loved it! I Cant say enough about Candlewick Kennels. Thank you all so very much for taking care both my fur babies.

Our husky absolutely loves coming to Candlewick for daycare and occasional boarding! I know she is well taken care of, safe and happy to be with other dogs when she goes there. It's a big relief to drop her off for daycare during the workday to help her exert her energy. Highly recommend for anyone in the area!!

Candlewick Kennels is wonderful. My dog got to go on 3 20min. hikes and spend time with other dogs and even list some weight, which was much needed. I will definitely use them again.

I have not personally visited Candlewood Kennels but they are famous for producing champion Labrador Retrievers

The groomers always do such a great job

My toy poodles loved it there for the week!

They are good with the animals, however I feel they over board dogs, my dog Charlie came back with bad kennel cough for second time. They had told us when we picked her up there had been a outbreak of kennel cough.

Wow. Last time they groomed my dog, she got nicked. This time, she looks horrific. Butched. Choppiest hack job on my golden retriever. I will never ever get her groomed there again. Had been going for over seven years. Laura was awesome. She’s long gone and it’s never been good since, but this is just over the top terrible. People are literally laughing at the hack job. Good thing I paid $80 for it. :(

This is a great place to board your loved ones.

Very professional and they kept in touch via text. I was nervous as a first time boarder for my cat who needed meds and special food. They did a great job and I think she enjoyed her "spa" weekend!????

Loved every bit about it but I thought the overnight was a bit expensive for the playtime to be an extra $10 a day. Otherwise. excellent place. A trusted place.

Thank you very much for taking such good care of Kooper on his first ever night away from us. He is a very nervous dog and this was a trial overnight for him. The staff at Candlewick was very understanding of Kooper's needs and took excellent care of him. I will be bringing him back in the future for more overnights.

Our big furr-baby always looks forward to his trips here!!! His reaction once we get there let's us know he truly enjoys it ???? best part..... he comes home super exhausted and ready for bed????
