I took my cat for grooming and they charged me a fortune in shots for an indoor cat. I finally get through all those appointments and the groomer called 5 minutes after my cat was there for me to pick her up because she couldn't finish. Apparently the cat was scared and bit her. My cat has been to several groomers and I was never called to pick her up. You would think a veterinary office would have a more capable groomer than a young girl with no patience for a scared 4 year old cat. I will never go back and I am not taking my dog Ollie back there either. They get every dime they can out of you and then don't do the job they were asked to do. Today they charged me $130 for one shot and nails clipped. RIDICULOUS. They take advantage. They shaved one small spot on my cat. $130!!! INSANE! I am furious about their lack of professionalism and the young girls that run things in there that don't know anything. This is a lie. No one went to the ER. They lie. We were not terminated, we left due to unprofessional practices and exorbitant prices. My cat has never hurt anyone.

I found the dr to be quite cold, instead of calming my puppy, who’s never been in before, she decided to get a muzzle. The pup was just very scared, I took him there because they claim to be a “no fear” facility. I’m not sure what that means, based on my experience. However the assistant was nice, we’ll try more more time, hopefully it was just a no day.

I am appalled by the unprofessionalism and how incredibly cold Dr. Monica was today at my pups annual check up. I am a new dog owner and I’m trying to learn as much as I can. Today at my visit I felt dismissed, like I was bothering Dr.Monica with every question I asked, and she blatantly ignored me more than twice with me asking questions and her assistant tried answering and didn’t even know the correct answers. I appreciated the assistant trying her best, but I’ve never been treated like that from a doctor and I can’t believe how rude she was and walked out during my appointment. She never explained to me what shots she was administering to my dog and why, and she scoffed and ignored me when I asked her questions. Dr. Monica’s hospitality as doctor was disgusting and if she doesn’t know what’s she’s doing or doesn’t know how to use her words… speak up! A low- grade establishment with mediocre doctors. If your hearts not in what you do, then don’t do it. So dissatisfied and disappointed with Beaverbrook Hospital. What a nightmare.

After horrible experience at my previous Vet where they were charging me like crazy and also providing a bad service (leeting my Dog ear obvious ear infection do undiagnosed even after multiple visits!) coming here was a breath of fresh air. They are attentive, reasonable prices, talk to you, care for your pet's well-being and it's not a outrageous money grab. Love them will keep coming back and bring my other dog along as well.

My dogs appointment was for 10:45. She wasn’t seen until about 11:10. Just for them to tell us there was nothing wrong with her. We take her to another vet and they tell us she has an ear infection. Thankfully we already had the medicine but how is that overlooked as a vet? Smh definitely will not go here again

I took my dog here because her anxiety lever is very high, and I wanted to try the less stress/fear facility. Everything was fine until Covid hit and I was not allowed to go in with her. I took my dog in for a visit and when I got her she was full of feces and urine. The person that gave her to me brought her out with a towel and told me I could not keep the towel. The following day I notice her eye was swollen and was having discharge from her eye. I didn't think they injured my dog, probably she was so fearful that she was probably going crazy and scratch her eye. I am upset because being that this is a fear free facility they should of not put hands on her and they should of called me and told me they couldn't treat her ear due to her anxiety level. I felt they caused this to happen, the least they can do is allow me to go in with her. I called them many times so that they can allow me to come in with her so that now they can treat her eye. They refused to have me come in with her, they wanted me to drop off my dog again... Are they crazy!!!!! Worst experience ever, I ended up bringing my dog to another vet that allowed to come in and after 3 visits and about 2 months my dog's eye got better.

I purchased my puppy from a breeder to be a service animal for me. I needed my puppy checked out so later down the road, I'm not in a worst emotional condition after (God forbid) finding out that he may be ill. To avoid this from happening, I called beaver brook animal hospital and initially the nurse sounded nice and was willing to answer questions while setting up an appointment but the day I went in for the 1st puppy drop off visit (covid strict rules), the nurse and the vet were extremely rude and literally went off at me! It is my first time getting a pup and rather than educating me on things that I need to consider and be mindful of and to make sure that he actually is healthy by performing proper tests which is why I had taken him to them in the first place, the nurse said I have taken too much of my appointment time asking her questions and got very irritated and hung up saying the doctor will call me. When the vet called, she did the same thing when I shared certain health concerns of my pup and questioned her. She kept saying he looks happy and he is fine (without doing any checkup). She kept saying that I need to purchase their puppy plan and bring him in a week. My question here was that what kind of tests are you doing today that you want me to pay you $65 for because she hasn't tested him at all when she called me!! Then she kept pushing me to purchase her almost $700 puppy plan, for what?!?! How do you know he doesn't have any hereditary health concerns? How do you know he doesn't have any other concerns that you can only findout through proper testing which you are not doing?!?! Oh my goodness!!! It seemed like she's used to dealing with people that will accept anything she throws their way and not question her. I sure as heck was not going to be one of them! I kept trying to get her to check my pup and stop pushing me to sign up for the puppy plan but she was in it for the money and got upset and went off at me then transfered my call to the nurse. The nurse came on the phone and literally went off at me saying that I was rude to her vet! How can I be rude when all I did was question her and tried to get her to CHECK MY PUPPY?!?! These people are extremely rude, unprofessional and uncaring. The vet even went off at my dog while being on the phone with me because he was barking since he didn't know them! They're attitude and behavior is really inappropriate and I did not appreciait it at all! My pup is going to be my service animal and these people are running a business to help all pets and provide them the care they need/deserve and instead they are running a veterinarian clinic to bank money off of people. It's not my fault that they are doing puppy drop off and call system rather than letting the owners in so they can talk/ask questions while the vet checks out the pup!! Never going to beaver brook animal hospital again nor am I ever recommending them to anyone!

They will drain you for your money! Everytime you come i promise it will be extra charges.. Nurses have a lack of compassion at its highest. The puppy package is a great way for them to tie you in with them. Went for a scheduled appointment follow up shots with the puppy package. They ask if you have any concerns with your pet to avoid the whole initial purpose of the visit, so they can charge you all your other concerns and not go threw with the initial purpose of the appointment. After going in for puppy shots they wanted to charge me for xrays, antibiotics, probiotics and tranquilisers etc.. all because the doctor was not sure if my puppy had a respiratory infection. They charged me for the visit although I had already purchased a $600 puppy package with a scheduled visit included with the puppy package. I have a small dog and a big dog who have visited here and both were asked to be on tranquilizer before visits to the location.. The nurse was very rude with non customer service attitude. At the end of the visit she opened the door and let the dog go as if it was an object. I asked when will I be able to go in with my puppy and was told til Corona ends!. Avoid the unwanted love and care from this location and spend you money and time with vets and nurse who really care and have passion for what they do!

My rating is based on the many years of negative experiences here. Out of a referral and convenience is why I started coming to them at their old location. Have never been happy with the service or miss diagnosis’s of a knee injury my dog had. As of recently with his current heart condition things have not improved. The lack of actual human interaction with doctors and patients could be a big factor to their lack of compassion. Overall their building is beautiful. Definitely paid by over charging for quack pot medicine like “cat chiropractors” and “acupuncture for your dog”. They are all business and wanting to use your emotions for your animal to bleed more money. Been a patient on and off here for about 10 years. Would not recommend.

I will never go back there terrible service! One time I had appointment and soon I arrive, I called the office and they told me that they have emergency and either I can wait inside the car or reschedule. Like they couldn’t call me couple minutes before to let me know so I wouldn’t have to take a trip! Today my dog had another appointment and when I called yesterday to reschedule because I have busy day today they told me today is the last day to do it, otherwise she will need to repeat whole vaccinations! Not knowing I left parking lot For 5 min to pick up breakfast for my daughter they charge me extra 40$ for hospitalization!! Really who’s gonna pay me back my gasoline the day they had emergency and they couldn’t see my dog!

Don't believe any of the negative reviews here! They are pretty awesome and cool people! They really do love animals and are doing the best they can to help you out! When I first brought my kitty to them in November 2016 they discovered a heart murmur and did the proper diagnostics (echocardiogram) to figure out what was going on. A year or so later when she started exhibiting stress issues they did all the proper diagnostics on her and offered prescription diet and stress relieving measures. They told me they didn't want her going on anti anxiety meds because she's already on a heart medication. So they aren't trying to gouge you for money. They are also very upfront about the cost of the treatment plan and give you a lot of discount and payment options to ensure you can afford it. My kitty loves coming to Beaver Brook and they always take very good care of her. I trust them.

I couldn't ask for a better vet or better staff. The staff is very sweet with my kitten and I know he's in good hands, and they're super communicative and very willing to answer questions for me as a first time cat owner. I've been thrilled with my experience at Beaver Brook so far!

Wow. I was planning on bringing my four dogs here but after watching this company rip it’s clients a new one in the commenting back section, I think I won’t. How unprofessional for you to post prices and medical history for the world to see. I’m Leaving this review solely because of how you treat customers and blast them based on how many stars they give you. Sad. Do better.
