Valerie and her team are absolutely the best in class. I have never seen a cat boarding facility like this, and I have seen a few. Captain Kitt's is truly a Ritz-Carlton for cats. I was a bit concerned that my two cats would see going home as a disappointment. A huge thank you to Captain Kitt's on behalf of them, who are looking forward to future stays.

We have been coming to Captain Kitts since 2009. Every time is an extremely pleasant experience for us and our beautiful furbabies Val and Tim are professionals and caring animal loving people. Each visit the cats are very well taken care of. The video messages while you away are the best for anxious parents. You will love the pirate theme and atmosphere! Your pets are in safe hands.

The only place I’d board my cats!

This is the only place I would let my cats stay! From the minute you walk in the door, you know it’s a home away from home! It is clean, smells fresh and is designed for cat comfort! My cats enjoy watching the garden visitors from their terrace view accommodation! Val is great! She takes detailed information and I don’t have to worry about Gibbles getting his thyroid meds! My boys love it there!

I have trusted the care of my kitties to Captain Kitts for over 15 years. The facility is immaculately kept and is a calm and serene environment. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about cat/dog care and I would trust no one else with the care of my furry ones. They follow every protocol for keeping their clients pets safe and well. I have boarded with Val and Tim for vacations , moving days and once when I was hospitalized. Peace of mind is priceless and you get that sense the minute you enter Captain Kitts. I don't have a dog , however , if I did.... Val and Tim would be "the walkers". I will end with this.....they are two of the kindest people I have ever met.

We have four very lively Siberian Forest cats and have boarded them several times at Captain Kitt’s. I would not trust them to anyone else, and even feel confident that they are much better off at Captain Kitt’s then left at home with a sitter! It’s a great feeling knowing that they are receiving great care by Val. We also feel good knowing she is very thorough in being sure all guests are up to date with their shots and able to board safely. I’m addition, the communication and response to any concerns while they are boarded is quickly brought to our attention and status updates are frequently given. The facility is beautiful and clean with ample entertainment for the guests, including a spacious playroom. We are very fortunate to have a place like this for our kitties to vacation at while we are on ours!!

The absolute best cat "hotel" ever! I cannot say enough good things about Val and how she cares for all the cats at Captain Kitts. Our kitty has vacationed there every year (sometimes a couple of times a year) for the last 5 years and I would never take him anywhere else!

A stay at Captain Kitt's is a vacation for my cat. She comes home so happy and relaxed! I love seeing Facebook posts of Tilly while I am away. We drive 30 minutes from home because the service is so great. Thank you Val for taking such good care of our kitty!

Captain Kitt's is a wonderful place. Val and Tim the owners are great people, they truly love animals & are very attentive to the needs of their feline clients. From brushing to massages, window views with bird feeders, and indoor birds (budgies), & two large tanks of fish for kitties to gaze at, it's quality care and a very clean environment. Our kitties love staying with their 'Aunt Val and Uncle Tim' as they've stayed many many times over the past 8 years now. If you want to have a vacation and zero worries while you are away, Captain Kitt's is truly the place to take your cat!!

We were first-time boarders during the summer and it was wonderful! The boarding house is softly lit and possesses a soothing atmosphere. Our cat is a big, 15-pound domestic long hair and the Standard suite was just the right fit. The birdcages and aquaria were within sight of the suite and provided our cat with a stream of stimulation while we were away. The owner/operator walked us through the entire boarding house before we committed our cat to their care and was very helpful through the entire registration and check-in process. What an extraordinary boarding house!

You could call these marvelous kitty-sleep-away-camp a slice of kitty cat heaven. Only the very best from immaculately clean, sanitized comfy places to snooze and watch fish and/or birds. to time in the play room with a human who adores kitties, to a serene atmosphere which any human spa has. Lots of hands on attention while staying available to us nervous human parents via phone or text, Val and Tim provide everything for sweet feline needs.

Our rag doll cat Phoebe was a regular at Captain Kitt's and she was cared for like she was part of Val and Tim's family. I can't say how much that meant to us. It's a very special, caring place.

We can't thank Capt. Kitt's enough for the incredible care that our Tiger Lily received during her 3 week stay. Our kitty was on 5 different meds at the time and she was shown such love and care and it was such a reassurance and comfort to know that she would be so well taken care while we were away. This is a 5 Star resort for kitties for sure!
