I've been taking my dogs here since 2013 and wouldn't take them anywhere else. Dr. Gavaletz, Dr. Griffith, and the amazing vet techs have seen my dogs through every sort of illness, injury, and even surgeries. Their expertise and loving care for my canine family members is clear every time we step through the door. Even emergency appointments are great, and are thorough and never rushed.

Always helpful there, and certainly not the most expensive in the area. In an attempt to bring light to experience, we had our cat in time and again for a bladder issue that lasted many months (6+) too long. Every visit had the same doctor, with the same minimal diagnosis. One night I asked for an emergency visit, and had an older more experienced doctor take a look. A short time later he came out saying he ran an x-ray, and is scheduling an emergency surgery. A few days later, my lathargic cat was jumping around like a kitten. So don't be afraid to ask for a different opinion if you're not happy, it can matter.

Amazing staff always friendly and to the point on any concerns of the well being of the animal. I've also noticed their prices seem to be lower than other places but maintain the same level of care.

Dr. Scott Gavaletz is a wonderful, kind and patient veterinarian. Both our cat and dog are never stressed when they see him. Their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their new facility is always spotless & is VERY spacious inside & out. Quality Vet care is never cheap but it is worth the money when you have the right professionals taking care of your beloved fur-babies!

Great staff friendly environment clean prices are always competitive.

They killed my dog and charged me money for that....okay, so I was there to have him euthanized, so I guess it's not so bad. They were quite nice and empathetic.

Making the decision to put my dog down is the hardest decision I've ever made. I called them and the level of compassion was..cant see you then, can get you in another day....heartbroken

The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend as they are always available and if a doctor isn't available to take a call, they call right back.

The Vet and Tech was Awesome they didn't get scared with Hurricane like the other Vet did couple years ago. Been going here for years.

I drive 30 minutes from home to this hospital because the staff here takes the best care of my dog out of any vet I have ever been to. I will forever recommend this Veterinary hospital to anyone and everyone searching the area for a reliable, caring place to bring your pets. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and immensely comforting. I dropped my dog off for a procedure and one of the technicians, Skylar, ensured me that he was in good hands and reassured me of this until I was comfortable enough to leave. I received a call when the procedure was finished to assure me that Kenai did great and is now recovering, and to also inform me of the recovery process. The doctors are amazing at what they do and I trust them whole heatedly with my baby. If you are looking for somewhere to bring your babies, I recommend giving Branford Veterinary Hospital a shot, you really won't regret it!

My family and myself have been coming here since it was first started by dr. Gerlach. the staff and vets here are amazing, very caring and loving , they take care of my pets as if they were their own. I want to thank the drs and staff for everything they did to save my little baby girl. unfortunately although they did everything possible my little baby girl didnt make it. It was too late after another vets negligence and incompetence. Thank you all so much for trying

Drs. Scott, Mary, Sarah & Phil and with their incredible caring staff are all wonderful. Service, advice and pricing are all the best! Wolfgang and Malificent loved them also, even after being vaccinated, spayed & neutered by them.
