Stay away they will call animal control on you if your pet is sick

We brought our nearly 15 year old cat in to be examined. She was not eating properly, lethargic, constantly drooling and had very foul smelling breath. After a cursory exam, they gave her a rabies vaccination and trimmed her nails. They scheduled her for an appointment eight days later to have her teeth cleaned. They did nothing to address her symptoms. No tests , screenings or medications of any sort.. They did not even take her temperature. Over the next two days, there was absolutely no improvement (of course) and we did not think that she would even survive to the next appointment. . We took her to another vet. Based upon the symptoms they did some tests and found that her kidneys were failing and there was no reasonable treatment available. This is something that Silver Lake should have discovered and not wasted time or money with vaccinations and nail trimmings that did nothing to improve her health or well being.

Fantastic practice! Non cooperate and doesn't over treat just to bill you more. Kim is fantastic and always friendly and accommodating. We drive 45 minutes each way for all non emergency needs for our 3 dogs.

I have been taking my dogs here for over 10 years. I trust the doctor 100% and the staff is very very helpful if you need advice.
