I had a fantastic experience here. My dog had a TPLO surgery scheduled at another vet that was last minute cancelled. Liberty was able to get me in the same day for a consult, and then surgery the next day (today). They took great care of her and I’m very pleased with the work that was done. 100% recommend this office, they care about you and your pet!

The staff and doctors are very friendly and very knowledgeable. The facility is super clean, and tidy. They got four stars instead of five because they did not offer a Military discount. And are a little on the expensive side. But do work with large breed dogs.

When my cat began showing signs of early kidney disease I should have been sent to a specialist and not told to put my cat down for Christmas. Your office staff called and told me to consider putting her down after she didn't show improvement from the dialysis treatment that you gave her. After going to the specialist they informed me that dialysis is something done to a cat to limp them along for 3 to 5 days... You sold me the dialysis procedure as something that would help her when what we actually needed was sub Q fluids daily which the specialist has now given me and Gigit is improving. (I asked for this treatment and was told no) I would hope that in the future you would handle situations like this with more care and wisdom. . . Response to LAH After all that you have done for me? What a joke! You refused sub Q fluid treatment! You sent my cat into a death spiral after 3 days of dialysis which was an unnecessary treatment, as you could have simply given me the fluids to administer at home. That is the treatment the specialist recommended and she is improving now. It's what you should have recommended. You have taken years of well managed CKD away from us, we are fighting an up hill battle to recovery now. I should not have cut you guys so much slack. I have a lot of empathy for the veterinary industry right now as I know they are overworked and understaffed in general. I tried to give you all the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. All the red flags were there and I ignored them. Please don't lower yourself any further by responding to your negative reviews online. It simply makes you look more unprofessional. And, after all that you have done for me, it's unnecessary

I come to this vet hospital mainly because the location is close to my home. Despite the strong ratings the past two time I had a check up here for my dog and I had waited longer than the necessary needed amount of time to see the vet and doctor, at times almost 45min to an hour. I know the business are short staffed bc of Covid but where is the communication skills I nearly waited for 1 hour to get a couple shots done, and no one had given me one update, really?? and on top of that I was told they didn't even have my appointment on record to begin with even after making a deposit over the phone which they required me to do in the first place. I had to show them an email confirmation so I didn't look like a fool. Time is valuable and I really hope the next time I bring my dog in here it will be a better experience and go much smoother.

5 Stars! We were choosy about who would perform surgery on our pet’s fracture because she is such a tiny dog. Dr Aris was recommended to us as an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. Throughout the entire process our little one was given the greatest possible care and we were given the best possible service. We are so grateful for Dr. Aris and the wonderful staff at Liberty!

Dr. Aris and his team went above and beyond to save Charlie’s (my dog’s) life: they squeezed me into their busy schedule even though I had never been here before. They discovered the problem and removed a 10+ pound mass (!!) that was on his spleen. It took them HOURS and they skipped lunch in order to do it, but they saved my best friend’s life. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Yesterday my 8 month old puppy had a bowel obstruction and was very sick. Liberty animal hospital got her a last minute appointment and X-rays showed she needed surgery. Everyone stayed late and assisted with an emergency abdominal surgery. We would have had to go to an ER otherwise! She is home now and doing much better. We are very grateful for all the staff that helped yesterday! My husband and I have been going to liberty animal hospital for years with many different pets and have always had a pleasant experience, but this was over the top. Thank you!!!

This Vet is from Africa. He worked and studied really hard to get to America and vet school. Then he studied under great vets in Denver. He now has his own practice. And he is so knowledgeable . The nicest man you will ever meet.

Dr. Aris and his staff literally saved my dogs life. They stayed after hours to preform a life saving surgery, and I owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude. I would not have my fur baby with me today if it was not for them.

I've been here in the past several times. Today before making an appointment the lady demanded I give my credit card number over the phone before setting an appointment. Despite never missing an appointment and spending thousands here the lady demanded my card number over the phone (something I don't do) and refused to let me speak to a manager saying they don't deal with this stuff. So I took my injured dog else where, I regret trusting this place. UPDATE Through a different vet it was determined the TPLO this place did was the cause of my dog's life threatening issues and I had to see a surgeon to get it fixed but I couldn't find a appointment in less than 12 days. I decided giving my credit card number was a okay risk to help my dog so I called and got an appointment. When I came in I was greeted by nice people but then this lady Dyani came out from the back and she made a point of bringing up our phone call from the week Prior. She was starting a fight with me over that call. She also mentioned she saw my negative review and she clearly didn't like that but she started baiting me into a argument. She made aligations I was threatening the Dr? I have no idea where this was coming from my guess is she has home issues and she gets to take out her frustrations at work.... Over people sick pets caused by procedures they preformed. So the lady refused to let me see the Dr. And after I left, they called me back saying she needed my credit card number again so she can refund my appointment deposit, bunch of jokers here in the worst way.

This is the worst vet I've been to and I've had dogs for over 20 years. I waited in the waiting room for 15 minutes, then they took me to the smaller waiting room and the vet tech spent less than 5 minutes with me. I waited another 30 minutes for the unfriendly vet to come in who only barely spent 5 minutes with my dog. He didn't listen to me when I was telling him about my dog's issue with a hot spot. He wasn't going to do anything, but I suggested they take a sample or do anything to relieve and cure my dog of his hot spot. Then, I waited another 15 minutes to check out and the staff couldn't even give me my vet records, they had to have the owner review them first. Why would that be, I don't understand? If you want good care for your pet, I would find another vet to go to instead of Liberty Animal Hospital.

My dog had been limping on and off, so I contacted Liberty Animal Hospital for help. Before Dr. Atakem even took x-rays, he determined surgery. Not once did he suggest other alternatives. I stated that I wasn't comfortable with this as a first and only option, but he continued to push for it the entire appointment. He also wanted me to conduct a urinalysis at home (I believe it's needed prior to surgery) even though I told him I wanted to wait/think on it. I had to get them to refund it. Our vet tech, Autumn was difficult to work with and seemingly inexperienced. She sent us home with a different dog's behavioral modification medication. We brought it back to them only to be so disappointed with the extreme lack of accountability from Autumn and receptionist, Dyani. No one apologized in-person and offered poor attitudes and unprofessionalism instead. They both also ended up double-charging me for meds and charged me as a walk-in emergency even though I scheduled an appointment a week prior. To top it off, Dr. Atakem gave me a phone-call to address what happened after I left, by offering money off of surgery as a way to mediate this mess of an appointment multiple times throughout the conversation. Not to mention, the clinic was so unclean. There were flies and pee stains covering their waiting area furniture. On a positive note, I ended up finding a fantastic vet for a second opinion just recently. She conducted a really thorough exam and reviewed Dr. Atakem's x-rays and determined he didn't require surgery.

So they usually take a week or so to see you for new appointments is what I was told. Thankfully, when someone cancels, they can squeeze you in. They did for me, I was able to get my toy poodle in the same day. Their doctor had no surgeries to do that day, so they were also able to get my dog and I in and out in a day. Their technician, Sam, was so upbeat and nice while my dog was not ????. They explain their costs to you, answer all your questions, and have such a clean building! Sweet receptionists, too! Their doctor was so thorough and quick, as well! Exams for a skin mass was 120$ something, while it would have been 300$ at Indian Tree Hospital. So that was a relief! Thank you guys, so much.

Fantastic service, knowledgeable, reliable & clear communication - especially during difficult times! When my 2-year-old cat recently had issues going to the bathroom, Dr. Aris identified a mucous block in his bladder. While taking my cat home w/ a catheter for 3 days was difficult, Dr. Aris was able to treat the issue by removing the blockage and supplementing his health via diet - ultimately avoiding anything more invasive or moving to surgery. I don't live near Liberty Animal Hospital, but I will always drive up there to get the best care for my cats! You can't put a price on trust & confidence. Thank you, Dr. Aris & staff! :-)

Very caring and knowledgeable vet hospital. They are fantastic surgeons and provide care far and above what most run of the mill vet offices can provide. They are not a discounted service by any means, but they are top notch for your fur babies.

I have taken my dog to Liberty animal hospital twice. The first was due to a torn ACL. She needed a TPLO surgery to fix this. I shopped around for the surgery as it was extremely expensive. During my search my daughters coworker suggested Liberty animal hospital. Not only were their prices lower then any other vets, but the staff was amazing. They took wonderful care of my dog. She was back to her normal self in no time. Just this last month I could tell she wasn’t feeling well. She wasn’t eating and her leg was starting to swell. I was worried it had to do with the surgery she had 6 months ago. It turns out she just had an infection. Just to be on the safe side they did an X-ray just to make sure there were no issues from the surgery. She has now been on meds for 7 days and is doing amazing. I love that they call to follow up just to see how she’s doing. After surgery I got calls every couple of days just to make sure she was doing good. Even after this last visit they still called to check on her. Their love for animals doesn’t go unnoticed. They are absolutely amazing. ❤️

I have a Great Dane/Lab mix (Ryder) who tore his ACL. They did a really good job at Liberty, given the covid circumstances. He had his surgery 9 weeks ago, and he is walking around with good movement now.. I wasn't knowledgeable about how long of recovery it was going to be.. but that is my fault, in the end it was a lot of work i was not prepared for as my dog is 170 lbs. . I am very happy to see dog walking again with no problems. I would absolutely recommend him. He also got me in relatively short notice. Fair price. So happy that he got Ryder back walking!

My puppy fractured his femur and the thought of a lengthy recovery and high cost was very stressful for my husband and I. I spent 3 days researching THIS WAS THE BEST CARE OPTION for my pup. His fracture repair surgery went really well, his incision looked great from day 1, and they really seem to love my (sometimes aggressive) doggie. Thank you for your care and low cost. You saved our pup from amputation!

I really like the staff here. They are great with my dog. My dog is very protective, and can be aggressive at times, but each time I have taken him to the vet, the staff has been very understanding and patient with him. Their calm demeanor makes me feel better about taking my dog to the vet.

I cannot say enough nice things to justify how wonderful they have treated my dog Margo. She needed to have Tarsal Arthrodesis and Liberty was the most affordable option. My aunt and cousin both have had their dog come here for acl surgery and had glowing reviews. Surgery was very intensive and Dr. Atakem and vet techs were so amazing. Margo has had to come in twice a week for bandage changes and has become known at the office. Tina and Nicole are very welcoming right when we walk in. I would recommend Liberty for your pet. I am so grateful for how they have treated my dog. They also do the cutest bandage designs.
