I have had an amazing experience with Do Over Dogs. I started out as a foster, and quickly adopted my first foster Bernadette. I have had unbelievable support from literally everyone on the DOD team to help me and Bernie adapt and be successful. Everyone at DOD is so passionate about the well-being of the animals, and have enormous hearts! I am really impressed, and highly recommend adopting from this wonderful group.

We hit the jackpot with our little rescue pup. The gang at Do Over Dogs were flexible and responsive allowed us to take our pup home a little early but allowed us to continue to use their vet to finalize the basic procedures needed. They have followed up with us since we took our dog home and they continue to be in touch. We are super thankful for this org and our sweet little pup. UPDATE: still awesome. She is an angel sent to us to survive covid and it’s working.

I love the Do Over Dogs team! Everyone was responsive and supportive. The three month old puppy I adopted came from a wonderful foster family. She came crate trained, potty trained, does well on a leash and knows how to sit. The care this puppy was given shows in her joy for life and her ease in transitioning into my house. These people are heroes!

I have a question can you adopt the dog right away or do we need to wait for a few days?

I have fostered with DOD and they are such great, responsible and caring people. Not only do they take such great care of all of their volunteers but they also go above and beyond to make sure all of the dogs in their care are so well taken care of. I would highly recommend adopting any of their amazing sweetheart pups - young, old, big or small.

We had a wonderful experience adopting Bella from "Do over Dogs". Staff is very knowlegable, responsive and compassionate. We would "do it over" again!

We adopted our sweet girl, Lilly Lucy Lou, from Do Over Dogs. They are FABULOUS - responsive, caring, professional, and very dedicated. The female dog they initially rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico ended up (surprise!) being pregnant with puppies. Do Over Dogs found loving homes for all the pups. The adoption process is careful and thorough, which I appreciated. As an adoptive family, we felt supported during the entire process - down to the excellent recommendations for vetted trainers after the adoption. Christie and Lindsey are the best! I highly recommend Do Over Dogs.

Do Over Dogs is INCREDIBLE! By far the best foster experience we have ever had here in Colorado. They truly care about their dogs, volunteers, and potential adopters. Their communication is top notch and you will feel supported every step of the way. Such a great organization with the health and happiness of their dogs as the top priority.

I have both fostered dogs on behalf of Do Over Dogs and adopted a dog through Do Over Dogs. In addition I have fostered with other rescues before and I have to say Do Over Dogs is the best I have worked with - they are genuinely awesome. They are caring, thoughtful, responsive, helpful, and passionate about rescuing animals. They work closely with adopters and fosters to make sure the animals go to the right homes. I would recommend fostering for or adopting from Do Over Dogs to anyone who cares deeply for the welfare of animals.

Do Over Dogs is a phenomenal dog rescue. In early January, 2020, I applied for a dog on their website. They informed me that it was best that that dog go to a home with another dog and sent me an email with a dozen puppies they had recently rescued from Houston. After a home inspection and a meet and greet, I brought my Argos home before the month was over. Do Over Dogs is deeply committed to their pups being loved and part of a healthy, happy home. They work hard to provide dogs with fosters and training before they get to their forever home. I highly recommend them and their pups!

I now have my dream dog Kiki, a brindle Pitbull mix that was one of Poptart's litter last spring. She is the most friendly dog I've ever had. She is beautiful. Communications with Do Over Dogs is easy and they are very responsive. It was overall a great experience and Kiki is one of the best dogs I've ever had!

An amazing rescue! Christie and Lindsey go out of their way to make sure the dogs are in the best care throughout the whole process from rescuing from the shelter to adopting/ fostering to their new home. If there are certain dogs that have health issues or are injured they make sure the dogs get proper care and treatment and truly give these dogs a chance to find a loving home. They hold adoption events that are community focused and educate people on the importance of fostering and adopting rescue dogs. Do Over Dogs rescue is truly a saving grace for these dogs!

I got my pup "Punkin" from this rescue. She was just over a year old when they pick her up from a kill shelter in New Mexico. Punkin was scheduled to be killed on Monday, we got her the previous Friday. …

This organization is wonderful! They do all they can to save dogs and find their forever home. They have a wonderful group of foster parents that dedicate their time and effort to getting pets into adoptable condition. Love this group!

THIS ORGANIZATION IS INCREDIBLE. I have volunteered in animal care and welfare my entire life, giving thousands of hours and dollars. Do Over Dogs is who I support, hands down. They are volunteer, foster and donation based. No brick and mortar building, simply good people opening their homes & hearts. They save animals that are discarded, forgotten and mistreated. They work tirelessly to do the right thing by these dogs, many of them who have had horrible lives. I volunteer here because their philosophy is that they are not just looking for homes for Do Over Dogs, they are looking for PERFECT homes for Do Over Dogs. I have volunteered at organizations that adopt dogs to anyone with a pulse. I will spare you the horror stories. If you want the benefit of adopting a dog from an incredible network of volunteers (many of whom have full times jobs & full time lives) who put in countless hours to help set your dog up to be successful in your home, choose this organization.

Last year, I fostered a pregnant mom from Do Over Dogs who had her puppies in my home. As their foster mom, I was provided with a complete professional program for raising physically, socially, and emotionally healthy puppies. Mom and her puppies are now living their best lives with their perfectly-matched forever families. This is not the standard everywhere. Do Over Dogs goes above and beyond the call of duty.

They treated me like garbage. I asked them to give me a discounted price on a dog because I was looking for a service dog and they told me how they were in the right with their pricing because of how much they spent. Fine but not what I asked and then threatened to keep me from adopting anywhere in Colorado. Never adopt from them.

We rescued our dog Maggie from DOD and it was such a great experience! She's actually a "foster fail" so I've worked with Do Over Dogs as both a customer and a volunteer, and in both capacities, everyone was helpful, responsive, and committed to the mission of placing these dogs in good forever homes. I honestly can't believe how hard their volunteer base works for these pups! Definitely a great organization if you're looking to adopt.

Do Over Dogs is the BEST rescue I have ever worked with. They truly care about each and every animal that comes through their organization. The people that run the rescue are kind, helpful, responsive, reasonable, and incredibly altruistic. Their fosters are wonderful people who give a ton of time and energy into training and rehabilitating dogs that need homes. Their adoption fees are completely reasonable, pay for medical costs that the organization incurs while the dog is in their care, keep the organization funded so it can continue rescuing dogs, and ensure that dogs go to homes where they will be cared for reasonably and won't end up back in a shelter or on the street. I found the best dog in the world through this organization and I don't know what I would do without him. I can't recommend them highly enough and there is no better place to adopt a dog from.
