Never visited that location. Simply googled a phone number that originated from that location...a crank call from someone who is or was employed there...that was quite disturbing.

I brought my cat in for an emergency visit today. This is always very stressful for him and he meows a lot when he's anxious. I stepped away to take a call while the receptionist watched him. Normally he doesn't let anyone touch him. When I came back from the call the receptionist had my cat in her arms like an infant. It was like this was a totally different cat. He was letting her hold him!!! I was so surprised that he was so comfortable with a stranger. I will come here for all my pets needs in the future. Great place!!! ????

Arrowhead treated my emergency with both my dog and later, my cat with care, concern and professionalism. I would trust my ets implicitly with the veterinarians here!

Arrowhead Animal Hospital is amazing! They really came through for me when I was in a difficult situation. I had recently moved to the area but didn't yet have a new vet. When my cat suddenly got very ill, I was desperately calling vets all over trying to find anyone who could see my cat on such short notice. After calling well over a dozen vets with no luck (most other places were booked out 1-2 months for new patients), Arrowhead was able to fit me in within an hour of when I called. They were so kind and helpful during a difficult and stressful time for me, which meant a lot to me. Thanks to their diagnosis and treatment plan, my cat made a recovery as well. I'm so grateful to have found them!

My little Minnie suffered an injury while playing with my other dogs. She couldn't bare weight on her right front leg and yelped out when I tried to check what was wrong. OMG emergency vet services = $$$!!! But, I simply could not wait until the next day for her home vet. I googled places open and noticed they were open until 11 PM - ????. When I arrived, check in was smooth with COVID procedures and was in an exam room within half hour from arrival. The techs were wonderful and very gentle. Dr. Adams is amazing! She explained everything they wanted to do, the cost, showed me the x-rays while explaining the fracture, the procedures to repair the injury and follow up. The cost was less then I expected and my fur baby was treated with the utmost care; minimizing any additional physical or mental trauma. I am so impressed with their quality of care and communication, that I am transferring all my pets to Arrowhead - 2 GSD and a cat! Thank you so very much

We took our dog here last night after he ate mouse bait. They were able to assist us immediately. The price was extremely reasonable for emergency treatment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend taking your pets here.

They explain everything clearly and treat our animals well. I appreciate that they spare them from anything unnecessary and let us know what is happening every step of the way.

All you need to know,...I have been with them for over 7 years, and it has become painfully obvious they have taken on way too many clients. I was told today it would be 11 days until I could "secure" an appointment to have my dogs paw checked. Instead, as of tomorrow, I will have an appointment with my new veterinarian for my two labs.

Dr. Campbell was amazing. Not only was he able to get my Millie in that day, but when he heard the symptoms, he insisted she come in immediately. He was so caring and kind, as was his staff. Dr. Campbell - our new family vet! Thank you, Arrowhead!!

We took our two elderly shih tzus here as they neared their last days. They treated them with so much respect, patience and love. We lost them both in a span of a few months and it has been excruciating to get past, but the staff at Arrowhead has made it easier with the love these guys showed them. They fought hard to make their last few days comfortable and I cannot thank them enough. ~ You guys are amazing. Keep up the good work. We appreciate you more than you will ever know. Sugar and Cookie say thank you for everything. ❤

Our pup got bit in the face on a Saturday evening and we were so glad Arrowhead was one the few vets that was open. We got seen very quickly and everyone was so caring and communicated everything to us very well. They gave us options for care and didn’t slap us with a huge bill for a Saturday night emergency. The doctor was efficient and kind. Everyone was. Thank you for taking such good care of our Dobby!

This place is great if you don't want good care. I called about a problem I was having with my dog and they gave me bad advice without suggesting I see a vet. When I have seen vets they aren't much better. Then you get unsolicited texts and emails telling you you are late with needed care.

I really wanted to like this vet and I chose this provider for my cat Sophie based on the number of 5 star reviews. I’ve been debating on posting this review because I know many love and trust this vet, but I had a very bad experience during a tooth cleaning yesterday. I consider my cat to be my baby and I’m willing to go the extra mile to make sure she lives a long and healthy life. In September I took Sophie for an annual exam and spoke with a male vet. He advised me that she had some gum/tooth irritation that appeared to be gingivitis. He explained that a dental cleaning was advised and during the cleaning the vet could determine the extent of the irritation. He let me know it was unlikely she would need a tooth extraction based on her age and the current exam. I booked a cleaning in October thinking it was just a routine procedure. When I dropped off Sophie at 7:15am, a vet tech came out to the car and asked me to sign papers. She appeared to be in a rush and I signed where she said. I left many areas of the paperwork blank per her instructions. The vet tech explained they may need to surgically remove a tooth. Based on the September exam, I wasn’t concerned that would happen. However, I specially asked the tech to call me if surgery needed to happen. She assured me they would. I listed 2 phone numbers on the paperwork and had my phone by my side all day waiting on any updates. I was nervous wreck all day. Finally, around 3pm (8hr later….no updates) I called. The receptionist let me know she was recovering from surgery. I was very surprised to hear that she had underwent surgery when I requested communication if surgery was needed. Likely sensing my disappointment in the lack of communication, a female vet called to follow up. She apologized and relayed they had been busy with emergency appointments. She explained extensive tooth decay resulting in the decision to remove the tooth. The vet said she thought she spoke with me and we were on the same page as far as Sophie needing oral surgery….I let her know I spoke with a male vet at the September appointment. I had never spoken with her about this procedure. She apologized again and let me know that normally the office does call ahead of surgical procedures to let owners know what to expect. (Okay….Was she mixing me up with another client? Was my cat not important enough to call?) At this point I’m stressed and agitated at the lack of communication. I’m able to pick her up at 4:30pm and the vet tech informed me my cat would need pain medication which was a liquid syringe dispensed into her mouth after a meal. That night was to be the first dose. I read the medication instructions carefully and proceeded to give her the dose. What I didn’t understand was that there was a clear plastic cap on the end of the syringe to keep the liquid from coming out. This was not mentioned in the medication instructions or written on the medication bottle. I’ve never given my pet a syringe of medication before and I assumed the syringe had self-sealed or something. While dispensing the liquid into her mouth, I noticed there was some resistance and I heard something pop. Only then it occurred to me there was likely a cap on the end of the syringe. We looked on the floor for the cap and couldn’t find it. I can only assume my cat swallowed the endcap while my partner held her to give her the medication. I felt extremely guilty for causing this to happen but there wasn’t anything warning me to remove the cap. I called emergency after hours number and they told me it was likely small enough she would pass it but to watch for signs of vomiting and low appetite. I woke up in the middle of the night to make sure she wasn’t vomiting. Had there been more communication on yesterday’s procedure and clear medication instructions, I would not be upset and writing this review. My goal in writing this review is that hopefully the office can improve communication and be more clear about aftercare instructions.

We use to love this vet as they were amazing in every way. Just came back with a new dog and we have had problems with every visit. The front desk staff needs training as they don’t give out correct information and schedule incorrectly. Sad to see.

Pros: The price is right, they always have availability, they have good hours (open when others are not), they always answer their phone, and I have gotten free quick advice over the phone instead of just being told to make an appointment. One time it was, “No, you don’t need to come in for that, your dog will be fine.” And she was. They lost a few bucks by not having me make an unneeded appointment, but now I trust them more, so they will make more money because I’ll keep going back. They have a few doctors and ask if you want the same one or want to try a new one, and I really like that option. Cons: I found one of their docs I liked, but then they didn’t work there anymore the next time I went in. I mentioned the puppy had a cough, and they did not catch that she actively had kennel cough. Redeeming: I took the puppy to a different after-hours vet (because she swallowed a pair of ski gloves). I also mentioned the cough, and they also didn’t diagnose kennel cough either. I went back to Arrowhead because her cough was now really bad, and they did diagnose it, and she was good as new within a few days. But I believe the person who caught it was a temporary doctor, not a permanent fixture. I had a lot of trouble getting my 2nd Heartguard prescription sent to Costco. Might have been Costco’s fault, who knows. No big whoop, it worked out fine in the end. Wrap up: I am totally fine with continuing to go to Arrowhead. There’s nothing wrong with it, and it’s right by my house. I would be willing to find a new vet just because I like to try new places out, and I wasn’t able to be seen again by the 2 doctors here that I liked the most. Would recommend, especially for a puppy’s first ever vet visit.

I love the communication and caring. Every Dr is the best. So is the entire staff. My dogs range from 15 years to 8 months. Although different stages of their lives, care is always discussed as to what is best. As the fur-momma, I am very well informed as to options. Good or bad to make a decision. We are treated like part of their Arrowhead family.
