Great people! The vets are very informed and care about your pets. They also try to spare you extra expenses if they feel it's not necessary.

I just arrived to Colorado and my dog had some inconvenience during the trip, they were the only clinic to accommodated me for that week. I was under to much stress cause I don’t know anyone in here and I don’t know the city. They were very kind.

We've found this clinic to be run by a great staff and we like the vet we saw. The customer service has been good both times we have taken our dogs in and they followed up after vaccines to make sure our dogs were still doing ok.

Wonderful friendly folks! Helped my old girl out. Made a last minute appointment for me as I was worried.

Vet I saw hardly examined my dog. Just kinda glanced over and said she was healthy and looked good. Other vets I’ve been to were more hands on and checked my dog out more thoroughly. I’ll probably go somewhere else next time.

Dr. Jody Hanson is hands down the best vet. We live in Littleton and we drive up to Thornton to see him. He is very respectful of our (not so friendly) dog and his space and has always taken great care of him. He takes his time and looks at the entire situation as a whole before he treats the dog. I am thankful to have found Dr. Hanson.

Been coming here for over 10yrs for several different cats, from kittens to old/passing. Always the friendliest staff, vet techs, and doctors! Seems pricey, but maybe comparable to most larger modern vets?

Had to put down my 17yo Bengal cat. They were very compassionate and gentle, making a hard day easier.

Friendly staff, but the rooms are very warm and don't have air. We had to keep opening the door to let air in.

My dog was at this vet for over a year and did not get the treatment she needed. As soon as we switched vets she immediate looked and felt better.

They were not knowledgeable and didn't know what they were doing. They didn't seem to care.

VCA was very welcoming. The staff was very friendly. My pet received really good care. The doc was very informative about the care of my pet. We did not have to wait long, overall it was a very nice experience.

My pet records were sent there when my vet closed its doors. Initially I was happy with the care my pets were receiving. In November my dog was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on her right rear leg. I was charged almost $400 and sent on my way with a referral to CSU Animal Cancer Center and no further instructions. The following Saturday my dog was vomiting and had diarrhea. I ended up taking her to.a different vet after calling several to see if the had an oncology specialist. At that vet she was given meds for GI issues, which should have been done in the first place by VCA. Over the past few months they have been less than helpful. In February my poor dog severed her CCL. Same dog and same leg she had the tumor removed from at CSU. She has been on Chemo and prednisone and was doing really well until this happened. I took her to VCA for the injury. The took xrays, gave her gabapentin again charging me almost $400 and basically sent me on my way. When I called to refill the gabapentin I was told she could not get it without a wellness check. My response was she was seen for the leg and because of her mast cell disease is getting seen every 3 weeks at CSU. A wellness check wouldn't tell me anything I already don't know. She's now seeing Ortho at CSU for her leg. Most recently, I took her to get her liver values rechecked at CSU and. it was decided that she needed a CBC after I left Fort Collins. I called VCA to arrange for the blood test and was told I would have to pay for an office visit and they would have to check her liver enzymes again with the CBC. This had already been done. They told me I would have to wait a week for them to get those records from CSU before they could help me and to call back then.I guess the point I'm trying to make is they care more about their bottom line and maki g no at than they do about actually helping animals. They basically try to bully you into unnecessary treatment so they can charge you. I am currently searching for a different vet.

I have been bringing my baby here for a while now. Now 2 of my family members bring there fur babies here as well. They do take very good care of my baby and the prices are reasonable especially if you value your baby like we do =)!

Over-priced. Don't go for their VCA Care Club, it's a complete waste of money that they don't let you cancel early. Teeth cleaning means they put your pet under... every time! That is ridiculous. Vets there are not knowledgable enough for the money that you are paying there. The care for my cat wasn't beneficial, he and my wallet would have been better off not going to the VCA animal hospital.

I made an appointment for vaccinations that were overdue several months due to covid but also because I was told my dog was possibly facing 'GDV'. I wasn't able to go myself so I sent my mom to the appointment and she was treated poorly. She nor I had NO IDEA you had to call before entering. They were bashful towards my mom and had told her to get out and call for the appointment- then my mom asked for the number; that's when the receptionist rudely told her it's on the front door...seriously how hard is it to give out your phone number to a patient that is standing inside half-way in your office??!! I read the email they sent prior to my appointment, the text message they send you prior to the appointment and neither messages went over policies for entering. Then Dr. Kit Hunsberger was clueless on why my dog had the appointment AFTER I SPECIFICALLY RELAYED HIS SYMPTOMS TO THE FRONT DESK AND THE FRONT DESK BASHING MY MOM ON WHY MY DOG WAS OVERDUE FOR HIS SHOTS. C'mon VCA, get it together. I'm in the customer service industry and from what I've read in the past reviews and what my mom has experienced here is unacceptable. I appreciate you guys getting my dog in ASAP but honestly I recommend you spend your time and money somewhere else. I've heard great things about Guardian Angel Veterinary Care and I will make sure I go to them next time.

We used them to help us let our dog go to heaven. We had never been there before but they worked with our schedule and were so kind. It was also the cheapest in the area which surprised me. They let us sit with him the whole time and even gave us paw prints in clay for totally free. It was so nice to feel like they truly cared. Thank you, VCA.

The most caring, gentle, thoughtful people. Tonight we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog, as he was really old and went downhill quickly over the last few days. We were having trouble finding anywhere that could get us in "soon" - meaning we would have to wait several days. We didn't want to do that as he was suffering and it seemed cruel. I gave this place a call and both women I spoke to were super nice and made me feel very comfortable - Jess and Bobbie. When we got there, we were warmly welcomed and it honestly could not have been any more peaceful. I didn't catch the dr's name, as I was preoccupied with our situation at hand, but he was SO kind and calm and gentle and made the whole experience so much easier. I would highly recommend these folks to take care of your beloved furry babies. And to the team, thank you so much for the extra care - we truly felt it.
