VCA Dakota Ridge Animal Hospital Littleton, Colorado

My regular vet was booked out for three weeks and needed emergency help for my cat. I called bright and early on Monday morning and VCA was able to get my cat in within 90 minutes. Dr. Monro and her assistant (Brittany, I believe) were so incredibly gentle with my cat and nonjudgmental about the situation (I felt I waited too long to bring my cat in). The exam was done and Dr. Monro recommend an ultrasound for my cat, she stepped out and called around for me and was able to get an ultrasound in the same day. It might not seem like the best review, but the bedside manner and comforting is what I needed during that stressful moment. I will be switching vets and using Dr. Monro going forward.

Dr. Munro is absolutely amazing. She has been so thorough and taken such great care of our senior dog, Ace. From her diagnosis to her treatment plans, she explains everything very clearly and always answers whatever questions I have. You can tell she is a veterinarian who really cares. I also have to give a shout out to Owen from the front desk. Owen is always super helpful when answering questions and finding out information. He also has one of the most caring attitudes and really listens to your concerns. I highly recommend VCA Dakota Ridge to anyone who is seeking quality care for their fuzzy one

My pup, Teddy, was really hurting from a BAD ear infection. VCA took care of him quickly, with great covid measures in place, and got him feeling well fast! They are also very reasonably priced, friendly, and kind!

2nd visit here. Vets are great. My dogs don't seem stressed even with the covid protocols in place and we can't be with them. All the staff is helpful and compassionate.

Our regular vet was booked out two weeks when I called them yesterday. I called VCA Dakota Ridge animal Hospital yesterday morning and they worked with us to get our dog in for an emergency visit that required her to be sedated. Everybody was so professional and kept telling my husband how sweet our dog was. We would definitely recommend this place and certainly will go back to them if we’re ever in need of a vet situation again and can’t get into our regular place. Thank you VCA to coda Ridge animal Hospital for taking such amazing care of our pet But also being so professional and getting us in within a couple of hours of making the phone call to you.

My dog Wicket got really sick, I was so worried. His normal vet couldn't get him in and i called Dakota ridge to see since they are close to me. First they gave me a few emergency vets to call and when they couldn't get us in Dakota ridge took him right away even though they were booked up. They took such good care of my baby and called me to explain what was going on and what the best plan of action is. This morning he is feeling so much better! They even called to check in on him ❤ I honestly can't say enough good things about this hospital and how amazing and wonderful they treated us. If they will take us on I would love to switch vets and stay with Dakota ridge, they truly care about our fur babies. Thank you again!

They’re always so good with my pets!

When our Mattie girl was brought in with a badly cut leg she got seen right away. Everyone was great and we were happy with the job they did fixing the cut. We were on the road to recovery until Mattie somehow got at her stitches and tore them out. Again, staff here were great and Mattie came home to start recovering all over. While Dakota Ridge is not the dogs primary vet it is nice to have a backup for such situations. Thanks for the great service.

I have been to several vets in the area and no one compares to VCA Dakota Ridge. Dr. Munro is amazing and informative of your dog's care. I feel my dog is cared about here. Do your pup a favor and take them here!

We've been taking our dog to them since we moved to Littleton in December, and now our new puppy. They are always very friendly and very informative. They even suggested natural alternatives for our dogs bad hips vs. prescribing medication. Our dog was in urgent need of care one time so they made sure to get him in within an hour of us calling. I always feel that the wellness of their patients is above making money and I have felt the opposite of other vets. Love the VCA Dakota Ridge crew!

I had to get my sweet cat Macy Grey in to get a watery eye checked, very last minute. Erica at the front desk was so sweet and reassuring, got us an appointment within 15 minutes of calling and Dr. Linnia Munro took such great care of my fur baby. This will definitely be our vet for years to come ♥️

Price is a bit high but the quality of care is outstanding.

I have taken my dogs here and the staff is incredible! Super helpful everytime I call or we go in. Reasonably priced and have always taken great care of our dogs, I highly recommend.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!! The only reason I chose to come to this vet was my normal vet was closed at the time. My dog cut his paw and needed staples put in to close his wound. 10 days later they took the staples out and the bandage off. When I got my dog back I looked at his wound and it didn't look quite right, but since I'm not a veterinarian, I trusted their judgement. I was instructed that some light play time was ok and after a 15 minute walk, his wound had reopened! TRUST LOST! I went back to my normal vet and they told me that there was a piece of dead skin that SHOULD have been removed originally in order for the wound to heal properly. My vet removed that skin and re-stapled the wound closed for a FRACTION of the cost. VCA charged me $400 and the vet I normally use only charged me $150. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!! You will be way overcharged with sub par care. The reason for the one star is due to the fact that they have longer hours than other animal hospitals.

I want to acknowledge the kindness and medical knowledge that Dr. Linnia Munro displayed towards my sick old dog when I took her there to be put down. This veterinarian clinic has a comfortable room, with a plush bed, and soft lights, and a sofa to set the atmosphere for the animal and their familie's confort as you go through this difficult time. The vet was gentle, and took her time as my dog was not completely absorbing the calming medicine inyected into her, because of her heart issues...yet the vet, and her helper never rushed and was very respectful and calm. God bless her and her team. I fully recommend this place for animal lovers like myseld.

We were out of the country and our house guest noticed something wrong with our beloved three-legged cat, Pete, started crying in pain at 3am! At 7am they took him here to check out what was wrong. The staff was so helpful, they were texting updates and helping us make decisions thousands of miles away. We are so grateful for the loving care they provided him. He is on the road to recovery.

Update: Well it is a representation of what VCA DAKOTA RIDGE stands for as that is what happened. If you followed through with providing me with the reimbursement you agreed to and took responsibility I would not have to warn others of what this one location does to its clients. Take a look at the other comments for your facility....they are HORRIBLE!!!! Worst experience ever! Vet had no clue what she was doing. She injured my dog and the clinic did not take responsibility for it. Said I would get reimbursed but then the manager changed her mind and decided to play games. I highly DO NOT recommend this place.

They do a great job with your pets. We took our 8 yr old pup here and the vet tech and doc really made her comfortable with the check up. The services are reasonably priced, for nails and other. His medicine and friendly staff.
