We had to have our Dog Nakita put to sleep she was 18 years and 4 months old.Her Drs there took care of her Very Well! We have been clients if theirs for about 20 years and we will still go there if we happen to get another Dog or Cat!

Stay away, far away. They can't keep staff and you always have to wait well padt your appointment tine. Also being charged for less than 24 hour notice when you're sick is not good business. Especially when the waiting room is beyond compacity since they also allow walk ins. I'd give zero stars of I could.

Great Veterinarian! I took my Schnauzer to the vet and did a 3pm walk-in. I showed up early. The staff was very friendly and acknowledged me as soon as I walked in. I decided to wait in my truck until they called me back. I got into an examination room at 3:05pm and I saw Dr.Heller right away. My Schnauzer was diagnosed with a bladder infection. We received great attention and the Dr. did a thorough examination! Dr Heller did an xray to check for possible bladder stones. Everything checked out fine. Willow is recovering with antibiotics. I highly recommend Huron Animal Hospital.

They treat your pet the best. Friendly and very knowledgeable. I would not trust taking my dog anywhere else

Like that they have walk in hours. Convenient if your dog needs to be seen right away. I love Dr. Grossinger. She’s very knowledgeable and can usually diagnose your dogs problem immediately. Recommended.

Terrible!the receptionist yelled at my mom for no reason. I have 3 dogs, i have spent thousands of dollars taking them to this clinic. My smallest dog suffers from chronic dermatities and skin infections, she needs to be in medication, they refused to approve my prescription from petco and forced me to buy the medication with their pharmacy which its 3x more expensive than petco. Very dissapointed, will not go back and will take my dogs to some other place.

Been a loyal customer for 18 years. Their website misinforms us, they choose not too change it, or give available resources. The receptionist sounded like I was interrupting something, and gave me attitude. Time to find a new vet.

Everything went well both my dogs were seen and treated.

I want to thank all of the staff and the vet and vet techs that saved my kitten Mila. They were kind and took her back very fast and treated her quickly, if it was not for them idk what I would have done Thank you 100% from the bottom of my heart she is doing well.

Very busy but quality care

My family and my husbands family have used Huron Animal Hospital since the 70s. The vet techs and veterinarians are amazing. They really do care about their patients. However, their office staff is extremely difficult to work with. They create a tense and hostile environment. There is constantly turnover of receptionists so nothing stays consistent. The veterinarians need to find a better office manager. She will end up running off every client that comes in just on her attitude alone. I really wanted to continue to take our new puppy to Huron just to see Dr. Heller but Helen made the first experience so difficult that I have sought out a different clinic.

The office staff was easy to talk to and courteous

Fantastic job on Max's surgery. Very friendly. Every one was very caring of Max's needs. After reading some of the nasty comments. It is your pets needs not the owners needs and we had emergency and waited our time, yes it was extremely busy. And we was a walk in and Max's needs was taken care of and surgery. High fives to every1 involved with Max's care and needs. Thank u all for caring about our beautiful boy. Jo-anne and Gary.

Very long wait when you just want a routine shot and nail clip. I understand short staffed but they over book knowing they are short staffed

Brought my Lucy Lou in today as a walk in. The wait was fairly long BUT EVERYONE who worked at front desk was wonderful and kept coming over to check on Lucy who was not having a good day and cried almost the entire time we waited. The staff was amazing with her and incredibly patient. I have taken my fur babies here for years they are just the best!!

WARNING!!!!!! If your pet is more like your child never take them here they told me my dog had bone cancer then they said he did not and when they finally said he did we lost valuable time with hime because they said he did not have it and he died friday we also tried to get the vet to call back when the pain was so bad he was qining and panting in alit if pain we teued fir 5 days before we finally took him to an emergency vet after we hust payed them 300 we ended up paying 1000 for the e vet on top of what we already paid these guys

The staff are so compassionate and loving. They treated my Frankie and my family with so much love. We will miss my Frankie so much but it's good to know that he wasn't stressed when he went over the rainbow bridge ❤️

Absolutely worst costumer service experience I’ve ever experienced. Awful staff. Do not recommend to anyone.

They were very sweet and gentle with my stressed out cat.

They were so nice and able to get my dog seen in a timely fashion. Every other place I called said the wait was 3-4 hrs. I was in and out of here in 2 hrs.

They always give me great advice and take great care of my dog. Have been going here for three years and have never had a negative experience.

Found a lost dog that had a tag from there.we took the dog in and those ladies were so awesome .they found the dogs owner right away .and they were all very cute

Update : ( nov2021) do your homework and shop around . After coming here for 14 years I have seen this place go through many many changes and only to see the outcome to be higher prices and doctors that care don’t care so much anymore along with the revolving door or front desk staff ( for some reason they can’t seem to keep any employees and as a result they are no longer open on saturdays !) I used to have good things to say about this place ( as you notice below ) but I have had rude encounters with the office manager (Hellen) who is by far the meanest person I’ve met in years and she runs this place !? No wonder why nobody else really cares! Don’t waste your time or money here - find a vet who truly does care about your furry friend and no just your pocketbook . I have been taking my two Bichons to this place since they were 3 months old and they are now over 10 years old I have nothing bad to say about this place they are the most wonderful most caring people I have ever encountered I tried other events I've tried PetSmart I tried local vets and none of them come close to the care that my dogs receive at Huron Animal Hospital it's a great place I would recommend to anyone and I have

Yeah it was pretty good my dog's back leg was not working very well and they gave me good news that it wasn't broke or nothing so yeah

Worst place ever they are very rude and unprofessional horrible service they left my dog with out his prescription for a week and a half causing him to have multiple seizure shame on them

This is a great place to bring your animals very caring people that work there

Dr. Welling is the absolute best, and the staff is great! Can't say enough good things about how thankful we are for their care of our two pups and kitty. We love Huron!

I have lived in the Thornton Area since 1961 and Huron Animal Hospital, (even when it was the original building) is where we brought all our animals. I am disappointed with the information and advice I received about "Journey Home Veterinary Services" when planning my Brandie's end of life. At Brandie's last appointment I discussed having her last moments at home. The office never upset her, only going into the exam rooms. Since HAH no longer does home appointments I was given brochures with one recommended, JHVS. The brochure was amazing! Home Euthanasia, Hospice & Palliative Care, I was so relieved. However, when I called JHVS I was informed all care had to be done by Brandie's primary Vetinarian. JHVS only provided Euthanasia and owner counseling and support! I was floored! The brochure is outdated and information and plans made from it worthless. Huron Animal Hospital did work with me and I was able to get 2 weeks of medication for Brandie without an office visit or labs, but the last moments were not as peaceful as I'd hoped. We had been taking day trips to Brandie's favorite mountain spots, and when reviewing some video after one I notice something I hadn't seen in a few months. Brandie, wagging her tail as she walked in one of her favorite creeks. What a difficult time. Although Brandie's spirit runs in heaven with her Grandma, her physical remains and paw print are with me on the mantel.
